What a better way to show American resolve than to rebuild the towers. If you need to re-enforce them and get them up to current code, even better. The Freedom Tower is ugly and an eye sore, bring back our "twins"!
What better way to show that what they knock down we can put back. Obviously using new technology to make them safer but the outsides remaining the same.
I was living in Clifton on September 11th and saw the towers burn from Grove Street near my home. I was in the Marine Reserve at the time and have been on active duty for three years since then to the mideast and Iraq.
I think there should be something equal to or bigger than the WTC towers to show the world our steadfastness. When the Arizona was sunk at Pearl Harbor they built new battleships that were bigger and better to replace her. Not just for the war, but for the show of resolve.
I say let's get back to the business of keeping the pride of America, enough talk it's time to do and do it right! Rebuild the towers!!

Rebuild the Twin Towers as they were. They are the symbols of capitalism and the financial strength of this country. Do not mangle the site. Return the towers as they were and defy those that have tried to destroy it. The should be one story taller to symbolize an "in your face" defiance. Bigger, stronger and taller.
Why let the enemy decide our fate? Rebuilding shows them that we will not be cowed by their anger, and we are still strong, no matter what they throw at us. Lets show our children that we stood up just when the world thought we would crumble, and that we refused to falter, even when everyone else thought we would break. Rebuild the towers!

The Towers were a symbol of the United States and they should be again.
American did not shut down Pearl Harbor after the Japanese attacked it -- America built the most fearsome Navy in the history of the world and destroyed the Imperial Japanese Navy.
I say REBUILD the Twin Towers and make its tenants the most FEARLESS in the history of the world.
We can achieve this using our technological and military superiority to ensure the safety of our citizens and seal the doom of ANYONE who threatens New York City.
I was fortunate enough as a child to watch these towers being built, and to me they were and are every bit as important as the Statue of Liberty. I also agree that the only way to tell all comers that the will of the USA will not break in the face of attack is to put things back as they were and rebuild the towers exactly as they were.
Lets not allow the bureaucrats to use this as an opportunity to create another self serving money pit.

Rebuild the towers in the memory of those lost and as a testament to the spirit of this great nation. Let us stand tall and rebuid the towers over and over again if need be!
Why is this country losing it's courage? Build the towers back to spec and let's kick all these dirty politicians out of office- it's time to take America back, and there is not a single one of these globalist/billionaire politicians that have such plans, so we must get loud.
The Twin Towers should be built back the way they were and bring back the historic New York City Skyline.
No other buildings could ever replace that view.

Restoring the twin towers is the greatest tribute we can give to those who lost their lives.
Choosing not to rebuild is choosing to be controlled by terrorists.
The Twin Towers are what NYC chose to have prior to 9/11. We should restore our city and our country to show we have not be defeated and to honor our lost Americans and their families.
I don't know of a better way to say we are just as strong as ever and we will not be intimidated by terrorists. I think we should even add a story.
Take us back to where we belong. Return the towers and build them taller. Return the same design to show the world that we still retain the great qualities we had on Sept 10...that we're still optimistic, generous and looking forward. But build them taller as a warning that we recognize we live in a Sept 12 world and we're stronger, vigilant and resolved. Dare them to come again.
Rebuild the Towers 100 feet higher than before! There is no better way to honor those who perished on 9/11. And no better way to make a statement to our enemies that the American Spirit can not be broken!
Building anything other that the Twin Towers is dishonoring to not only those who lost their lives on 9/11, but to our brave military men and women who have sacrificed their lives in defense of our freedom and libery. Rebuild the Towers as they were!!!
I agree let's rebuild the towers as big if not bigger than they were before and restore the NYC skyline. Anything less is a disgrace that is showing the terrorist that they have won. Let's notify the people in OUR government that it is they who must follow our will, and it is not the other way around.

It is the only truly American way we can go. We are not sheep to be sheared and spat upon. Americans need this lesson in being American. Especially our kids. We may get bloodied in the battle but we get back up. This is not about arrogance it is about national character. We need to be reminded that God willing we can do anything.
In the 60's when a lot of this incidious weakness began there was a ray of hope in it's midst. It was the Apollo moon landing. This is our mission.

I grew up on Long Island. I remember being at relatives in Astoria, & if the night's lighting was right you could see the tops of the Towers. I remember standing up against the side of the Tower's unique architecture and looking straight up in amazement at such a feat of engineering & construction. I remember taking my wife to the the top of the Tower. And I remember watching in horror & disbelief when the Towers came crashing down, my heart burst open that day, life has never been the same.
Why give in to terrorists?

Rebuilding as it was and maybe even a bit taller is the only response that is acceptable to show the world that the United States does not cower to terrorism.
