I was born in NJ and now I am a New Yorker, when I was little I used to walk the streets and stare up in complete amazement of the two strong twins and two stronger better twins would restore NY and the world. We need two towers.
One freedom Tower will always look like half a job done – a monument to weakness, greed and political corruption and a submission to terrorism. Build two! No Brainer. Rebuild the New Skyline bigger and better than ever for the world to see and literally look up to. You could even have the upper floors atriums that becomes a monument and they are always lit 24/7/365

The spirits of Ny’ers and Americans and citizens of the world alike watching it get bigger, better, and safer day by day. I used to live in Manhattan for 3 years from 1994-1997. i was born in 1992. the last time I revisted the REAL WTC Twin Towers was in December 2000, and I want to revist the complex standing ontop the Twin towers II! not a necropolis like “Freedom Tower”. The REAL, TRUE freedom towers are the twin towers and i too want them to build the Twin Towers II BIGGER, BETTER STRONGER! The strongest statement we can make, not just as New Yorkers, but as Americans is to erect two more towers. Make them taller and out of the strongest, most perfect materials we have and place whatever memorials to those who perished inside. Let’s show the enemy the strength of our economy, society, and way of life outwardly and memorialize those lost within the walls of the two greatest buildings in the free world.

Even though i wasn’t one of those people that had residents in the towers,i am one of those people that think there should be another wtc for everyone to enjoy. This is could be a start of something new. the towers could be more indestuctable and be more aware with cameras in and outside the buildings with one on every side. This could prevent another freak accident and people could be more prepared for something that might happen again. The memory of the towers should not end!!!!
I miss those towers so much. They bring back so many memories in the years before that terrible tragedy. If you want hear someone who really hates it, try listening to Donald Trump. I saw the Gardner/Belton plan called Twin Towers 2 , and I really liked it. If or when it is rebuilt I will pay a visit, or maybe even stay in the Hotel on the complex. Also if it is going to be rebuilt, someday my future engineering company Typhoon engineerings will become a tenent. Rebuild now.

I was on the fence about this issue until I saw Ward last night. To call the Twin Towers nothing more than Real Estate was low and offensive and I’ve had enough! He slithered his way out of answering the demands of 9/11 families and the NYFD/PD. I’m now sickened by their plan and what it ‘stands’ for. 20 or 30 years from now we’ll look at the once mighty Twins in photos etc. and go “why didn’t we just rebuild”? I’m 100% behind you guys now!
I think the current plan is CRIMINAL because it is robbing not only the people of New York, but the people of the United States of America of that signature of our country’s success. To all of you Government officials who we elected freely to office should start standing for what we elected for in the first place. I can’t believe I found this site! This was my fierce belief on that terrible day – that they should be put right back up! Not only do they belong there, they’d be two extended middle fingers to those who thought they could bring America down with the Towers. Every other design I’ve seen has been a hideous atrocity. I worked in Lower Manhattan as they were going up, friends and family members worked there and/or were first responders. NY deserves to have its Twin Towers BACK!

The Port Authority is stupid for trying to reshape Manhattan’s famous skyline with something so pointless as the Freedom Tower, or as “THEIR” so called One World Trade Center, which is a huge slap in the face to the Twin Towers, for frauding the North Tower’s original name.
As I walked over the 59th street bridge leaving Manhattan on 9/11/01 I looked at the smoke that was the World Trade Center and thought we’ll be determined & rebuild. The thought of not putting them back up is unimaginable to me.
Don’t let them take away our famous skyline! Then they really have made a difference besides taking all of those lives. We must do this to show they haven’t won. Rebuild the Twin Towers!
My father brought us to America when I was just a small child from Moscow, Russia. I love New York City and my father worked in the Twin Towers. We would go to the towers to visit every weekend, and I never got tired of it. The Twin Towers were an important part of not only New York City, but of America. Here now, without them, it just feels like something is missing. It seems almost criminal to take away what so many want back. My father said he would gladly return. I think we should rebuild!

Traveling is one of my greatest passions and after all I’ve seen, nothing is as great a site as that skyline we had on Sept 10, 2001 and before. The Twin Towers along with the Empire State Building are the greatest sites I’ve ever seen!

It is the FEAR Tower, and only serves as an example of American paranoia. The idea to rebuild the original buildings is not a dream. Architects have presented actual models of a rebuilt design, adding appropriate safety features that the Port Authority ignored in the 1960s. I have personally seen the top of the WTC, and we deserve better!

The attack on September 11 was perhaps the greatest challenge to American democracy and morale in all of history. It even surpasses the attack on Pearl Harbor, which dragged the U.S. into WWII. Not building the twin towers EXACTLY is a symbol of American defeat; a defeat that the U.S. could not pull themselves after a tragedy. The Freedom Tower is an excellent project, but is not destined for NYC. The towers should be REBUILD EXACTLY, and they should add more height to show Americans’ growth.
The last time I have seen the Twin Towers was on August 25, 2001. 2 weeks before the attacks. As a Brooklyn-born woman raised in NJ I believe that the Twin Towers weren’t just 2 buildings; they were the heart of New York. Any immigrant who comes here to the US to become a citizen, the first he or she will look at aside from Lady Liberty will be the Twin Towers. I HATE the new 1 World Trade Center tower. IT STINKS!!!
