  1. The Twintowers need to get rebuilt they where great looking buildings, and known all over the world as a part of the image of the U.S.A,besides they can ferfill a monumentall function now as well and the other designs made to replace them dont come even close to the beauty of the TwinTowers, those where great building’s why build something else?if the foundation is still intact, the Twin Towers are part of america and they represent something, just rebuilt them,it will do a lot of good

  2. The biggest mistake that could be made at the site is if the twins are not rebuilt. If the crappy freedom tower goes ahead it will be the biggest win for the terrorists. If any other landmark in any other city had been destroyed it would have been rebuilt, so i cant see for the life of me why new yorkers havent shouted down the freedom tower pushers. Rebuild the twins in all their glory please, it is really the only option.

  3. They should put back what rightfully belongs, not replace them with something that is a hollow mockery and embarrasment.

  4. Rebuilding would make better sense than a new building. It becomes a monument, but one that’s infinitely better than just another park.

  5. I think they should re-build. This was the drawcard for me to visit NY years ago. It was a awesome structure and I for one say bring it back as it was. I’d also like to offer my condolences to the families that lost loved ones. This is one thing that really touched me deeply. Not many things have had this type of effect on me in my life let alone yours.

  6. The Twin Towers represent NY as well as the Statue of Liberty or the Empire State Building but now they are gone and NY is not as is use to be without them! Rebuilding another tower with less floors like the Freedom Tower is a sign of weakness and Osama will get exactly what he wanted on 9/11. If we rebuild we will show them that AMERICA will stand tall again!!! Side by side… Twin by Twin… North by South…

  7. I agree with every word mentioned above. I think that the rebuilding of the two towers is extremely essential to NYC and the whole world, because it is the heart of NY, and without it, it won’t live properly and like it used too. I am a great fan of NY and America. PLEASE Bring back NY’s real FREEDOM the TWINS.

  8. After 9/11 Manhattan lost something something more then some people think… Manhattan lost its heart. The World Trade Towers were more then just buildings they were a symbol, a symbol of AMERICA. WE have got to bring that back!!! We owe it to AMERICA.

  10. Rebuilding the Twin Towers should have been a foregone conclusion. The Pentagon was also attacked on 9/11; however, nobody suggested turning the collapsed section of the Pentagon into a garden/park/waterfall. Instead, it was rebuilt and ready for occupancy within a year of the attacks. The Twin Towers, like the Pentagon, were symbols of America (which is why they were attacked); as such icons, to build anything less in their place would be a victory for those who knocked them down…

  11. I support with my energy the idea that the Twin Toers should be erected again, as they were, instead of the terrible project of liberty tower that is planned. Please New York, save us from this awful new tower and give us the twins back… their symbol and gemellity is needed by the big Apple!!!!

  12. 9/11 affected millions worldwide but you cannot hold the people of New York down. Rebuild the towers not only for the people of Manhatton but as a mark of respect to those who tragically lost their lives and their families.

  14. These two beacons should emerge from the dust of ground zero.
Once they are back again, the face of the real free world shall be restored and terorrism have finally failed.

America, may God be with you and your people !

  15. Rebuild the towers as they were. Rebuild them better, stronger. Because if the “Freedom Tower” arrives to be built, it will be built as the response that the terrorists want. Then it will be not really a free answer to the terrorism. Rebuild the towers and place a memorial in the floors where the planes crashed for the world never forget how far can arrive the human stupidity.

God bless the 9/11 victims, and we all.

  17. The Twin Towers were an integral part of New York City. They enshrined everything that was best about this great city. That is why our enemies destroyed them.

Let us hold up our heads, refuse to allow our enemies the satisfaction of having damaged this great world city beyond repair. REBUILD THE TOWERS! Then New York will never die.
