  1. We need everyone’s support to rebuild the Towers as they once were. Everytime I look over from the Jersey Turnpike I know something is missing, the two sisters.

  2. Utilizing technological advances in building safety (as seen in the “Freedom Tower”), we are capable of creating new Twin Towers in a post-9/11 world, similar enough to retain their significance, but different enough to show the capacity to move on.

  3. We need to get off our collective duff and rebuild these beatiful towers. Anything less is just a continuation of our defeat at the hands of our enemies on 9/11/01.

  4. Doing anything besides rebuilding two towers that are at least as big as the originals is absolutely ridiculous.

  5. Just a few pragmatic and logical words: the twin towers have to come back, America owes that to the world, putting anything else instead of it, it is an outrage and a huge disrespect toward the world and human rights, it’s like the 3 thousand lives were lost in vain, and the fear prevailed after all.

  6. I strongly support the rebuilding of the Twin Towers, in particular according to the Trump plan. We need to show the world that we will not be intimidated, which is what building the single, so-called Freedom Tower conveys!

  7. If we don’t rebuild them, then the terrorists win.
We should show the world that we have the means and the ability to overcome this terrible event . . . rebuild them exactly as they appeared . . only structurally stronger . . and declare victory in the war against terrorism.

  8. Please we need TWIN TOWERS to replace what was stolen from us. Not identical to the priginals, but similar to give us a reminder that we can overcome anything

  9. Why not? The Pentagon was rebuilt and so would have the Capital had it been hit because they are important symbols. The towers were also a great symbol. Rebuilding the towers would completely deflate the ego of the terrorist movement.

  11. I live in the midwest now but I will always be a New Yorker. (Yea! Queens!) Bring the twin towers back stronger than before. If they can make buildings earthquake-proof, they can make them terrorist-proof. Rebuild them and make it snappy, dammit!

  12. I think the towers should be rebuilt if nothing more than to complete the new york skyline how it was before that dreadful day.

  13. Yes, please rebuild them. To not rebuild them or to build lower structures is merely a way of giving in to the terrorists.
Build them stronger, make them 111 floors each, but make them appear the same.

  14. As a native NYker who lives in Colorado, I say rebuild. The NY skyline has always been seen as one of the most recognized in the world. We need to say to those pathetic terrorists that we will continue to get up after being knocked down. NY has always taken the hits and has proven time after time that we always get up. That being said, rebuild and pay respect to those who lost their lives on that day. Put those buildings back and make the skyline whole again. The entire country would cheer

  16. I was living in NYC on 9/11. I would definitely prefer to see the towers rebuilt, rather than the tepid, committee-driven compromizes that have been the norm so far. We should have the courage of our convictions, and realize that the only way to truly make any sense at all out of all this is to rebuild the World Trade Center, just the way it was. What could more demonstrate that we were not cowed?
