  1. As native New Yorker, who is now in DC I wants to see the WTC re-errected. Any other building orediface represents a win for OBL and his members. Everytime there is a skyline shot of NYC without the WTC they win. Good luck

  2. i have always believed (even before any of the ‘conspiracy theories’ began) that we/americans should replace what was taken from us. not only an american icon, but strenght it sybolizes.

we can replace them and show the world that ‘you can knock us down, but we will get up’.

with these towers being replaced using new and better technicology, a new courage and faith will be restored.

  3. Worked and lived in Lower Manhattan in 1989 and would like to see the towers restored using a similar design only taller.

  4. I currently live mere blocks from the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The Pentagon has been rebuilt ahead of schedule and stronger than before. Now the neighborhood is thriving. New York, you can do it too!

  5. For almost 3 decades they marked the Manhattan skyline. having them gone doesn’t ruin the overwhelming view Manhattan has and the excitment of visiting it, but I really, really wishes they would have stayed there unharmed, so let’s try and make perfect replicas of them.

  6. Build our towers back! We’ve rebuilt everything else that was damaged during these cowardly attacks except for the 2 most symbolic buildings in the world! We want them back, not that lousy, french looking, spire…most of it being a useless antenna!

  7. I would like to see a modernized version of the towers rebuilt. They should retain the clean rectangular look, with new refinements.

The people who died at ground zero died working hard at the pinnacle of capitalism and success. We need to honor them by continuing their work.

Let us not give in to sentimentality. Build 2 modern towers in the footprints of the old.

  8. Of course the WTC towers should be rebuilt exactly as they were. Anthing less, anything else, is a victory for our enemy. Why should the NY skyline be left altered by our enemies actions? Every WTC worker who died that day would want their memory homored by replacing those buildings as they were when they worked their. NY and the U.S. should not just accept their demise.
