  1. Nothing in my mind looked better than seeing lower Manhattan flanked by these two grand buildings standing guard over the city. Bring them back!

  2. The day they cut the ribbon on the new twin towers will a day not unlike the moon landing – an entire country unified in overwhelming pride and it’s sprit made whole again

  3. We need to put Ground Zero back the way it should be. Let’s not let terrorists architect America! Bring back the Twin Towers!

  4. If Americans are still flying. If AA and United are still in business. If the people still has a say in how we operate in this country. Then we should build the the towers again. Was there any argument about what to do in New Orleans after the “twin storms”? No! The only fitting monument to those who died, and those who defend our way of life is to build them as a tribute to our resolve, and their sacrifice.

  5. whatever structure goes there, in that hallowed place, will send a statement……………..why not make it the correct statement? why not make the new structure even bigger and better than the towers were? why not make it look like the twin towers, just 5% bigger? this awful project that’s being discussed is wrong, my friends, just wrong. it’s a sell out to the concept of being PC. to be PC is the path to destruction, look at what has happened in Paris, in London, in Madrid, now Glascow

  6. we, as americans, must realize that the rest of the world is watching us. how we react to this situation, of to rebuild or not, is key to their perception of the strength of america. our, can do spirit, is in danger of being replaced with internal squabbling, and jeolous rivalry.did the evil ones do more than destroy some buildings?

  7. I agree as many Americans do, rebuild what we lost on 9/11. My future children deserve it. I would love to take them to NYC so they can see with their own eyes what America means. It would show a powerful message about growing through pain only makes us stronger. I am embarrassed by the slow growth of the construction process almost 5 years after 9/11. America could have rebuilt 3 sets of Freedom Towers by now. Please bring back the original Twin Towers! Matt from Kansas City.

  8. Rebuild the towers and find out who was really responsible for their destruction and the other events of 9/11 We need an independent investigation! The 9/11 commission report is a bunch of lies.

  9. The Twin Towers should be rebuilt exactly as they were…or perhaps even one story taller than before, as a subtle gesture of defiance. New structures of a different style would only be a constant reminder of that terrible day.

  10. As the great General George Patton once said “Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a looser”. We loose if we don’t rebuild. We MUST rebuild as these buildings are a symbol of this country’s success and will to succeed. These buildings represent the awesome nature of this country, not just New York. Please bring back America’s Twin Towers.

  11. The attacks made Americans stand a little taller and stronger. Put the towers back taller and stronger as well, not only as a memorial for those who were lost, but a symbol of our character and resolve aa Americans!

  12. When I first saw the Twin Towers from the Empire State building I was struck by the beauty and sheer size of them. When the sun hit them just right they glimmered like fine silver. New Yorkers told me that they were a great landmark and they were very proud of them. To this day when I think of New York I think of those towers. They were in LOADS of movies from when I was a kid, granted I’m not very old. They came to be as American as apple pie to me and many in my generation.I want them back!

  13. Rebuild the Towers…Just as they were girder for girder. That is a true monument to those that lost their lives on that terrible day. A defining statement that says “We will not go quietly into the night, we will not vanish without a fight!” Show the world we are not afraid

  14. Rebuild them exactly as they were. The NY skyline was a symbol of power and achievement recognized world wide. Now, it looks like an extension of New Jersey.

  15. We are in the best country on Earth. We, the people, want the towers back. We hire public servants, aka the politicians, to do our bidding. Let’s not let them get in the way of doing our bidding.

  16. Time for America to stand up and be the world leader instead of cowering and pandering to all the special interest groups of the world!!!!! If we offend you, TO BAD!!! It’s our right in this country. Rebuild them, bigger and better. If we don’t stand up soon we we will never be able to stand up again.

  17. I whole heartily agree re-build the towers bigger and better. And let the world know that America is still the greatest country in the world and won’t be bullied by anybody!

  18. I can’t think of any other monument that would be more appropriate than that which was stolen from us. There is no better way to honor those lives that were stolen.

  19. Don’t let the political poltroons of NY’s high public offices decide what should stand in place the WTC. The twin towers were not just a study in architectural skill.
They were a bold statement of what could be accomplished in a free society.
It is an insult to dub the WTC replacement as the Freedom Tower, given the manner in which the decisions for its choosing were made.WITHOUT YOU!
Those who died in the attack on 9/11 deserve better. Rebuild the WTC like it was.

  20. Resistance is not futile. It’s time for all Americans to realize the true nature of the threat we are under and begin to fight back as one nation, one voice. I propose the ‘301 Club’.
After seeing the film 300, I decided to become number 301 in the stand against the oppression and domination. I stand with the Greeks against a threat to freedom that is just as real today as it was in ancient times.

  21. Yes, build them as they were. BUT, add ONE MORE FLOOR, and make that prt of our memorial to the victims. It’s time we stuck something in their eye for taking our towers. They laugh and plot against us with each passing day. Let’s give them somthing to look at each day.

  22. Donald Trump made this case a year or two ago. I agreed then and couldn’t agree more now. Rebuilding the Twin Towers would say to the world and to all terrorists, you cannot win.

  23. If the passengers of Flight 93 had failed in their heroic efforts to stop the terrorists, and that flight had reached the Capitol building or the White House, would they have been rebuilt? What about the Statue of Liberty or Independence Hall? Would we have let them be replaced by a Motel 6? Were the Towers anything less? Absolutely not! The Towers were attacked ONLY because the represented American ideals. Show that those ideals are worth standing up for; put the Towers back! NOW!

  24. Nothing would speak to the futility of the “Ilsamo-facists” attack then to throw the towers right back up in the skyline. It’s as if we were knocked back for a second but here we stand,… united,… again.

  25. Yes, rebuild the towers.

I’ve loved these building since I was a child. I feel remorse every time I see a video ir picture of the New York skyline without the towers.
