Building freedom and an enlightened civilization is what Americans have done to improve the human condition, for over 200 years.
The destruction of freedom’s light and it’s promise of human progress is what the Islamists are avowed to accomplish.
Show them that they will never be successful in their cynical celebration of death and destruction.

Rebuild our towers.
The Twin Towers should be rebuilt exactly as they were. It would be the best sign to the terrorists that no matter what they do, they can never win (as well as a big f-you to them). Rebuild them, and put a 9/11 memorial right on the top floor to go along with the panoramic New York view!
Rebuilding the twin towers exactly as they were is the best and only way to show our resolve in the face of our enemies. Some meak alternative only serves as a sign that we lack the resolve to stand against them.
The grand re-opening of the Twin Towers would be a great day in USA history. It would show the resolve of this country to anyone who wants to attack us.
There’s a hole in the skyline above New York City. The terrorists made that hole and would love to permanently alter that unique skyline. Only by rebuilding the twin towers do we deny them their permanent victory. Part of fighting back is making things right again. There would be no greater memorial to those who were killed and injured at WTC bombing in 1993 and the WTC attack in 2001 than to rebuild the towers. I’m sure somebody has the blueprints somewhere. Let’s stop wasting time!!!!
Build them back up! The terrorists HATED those towers, they represented something that was despicable to the terrorists but beautiful to Americans…Freedom, democracy and capitalism. The terrorists celebrated when they fell, they laughed and congratulated themselves for their ingenuity. Show them what we are made of. Show them that no matter what they do, we can recover. We can make the towers rise again out of the rubble.
I have been saying since Sept. 12th 2001 that they should be rebuilt bigger and better. All the other ideas were simply stupid. REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!!!
This has always seemed the most appropriate memorial to me– and to build them even taller than before. I am so glad the horrible Museum of Leftism and Hating America was rejected… and now that it is, perhaps we can go the rest of the way and unabashedly affirm our national pride.
Rebuild it. No greater statement could be made. Make it stronger and one story taller. Anything less would be weak and would not represent the spirit of America. May God bless this great nation. We are the last hope and should never forget that.
The Twin Towers being rebuilt would be the greatest memorial to those who lost their lives on 9/11. Donald Trump even has an excellent plan for the rebuild. We need to show that we are stronger than those who took those towers down!

The Twin Towers partner to create New York’s disctinct skyline. Let them stand tall; for their subtle beauty, glory, and elegance will stifle the evil of terrorist acts. May our silent towers of strength deafen the cowardly outbursts of Al-Qaeda.
Rebuild the WTC Complex ESPECIALLY the Twin Towers EXACTLY as they were prior to 9/11. Well, of course this doesn’t mean minus extra saftey enhancements (ie No More of that spray on fire extinguishing Foam that blew off when the planes struck, and using more heavy duty steel trusses).
The Freedom Tower though, geeze what a joke. Some of the plans seem like they’ve been more along the lines of a 50 story building with a 60 story antenna/spire! What does that say about America?!?
I submit to you that these towers are a sign of defeat and we are defeated until we rebuild those towers. If we can build other American landmarks such as the Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge inrecord time, surely we can grow a couple of skyscrapers! It’s essential that we restore those land marks as a sign of victory. Unless of course we no longer care for victory, in that case save the money and build another park in NY. You have my opnion and recomendation. Don’t let America Down!!
This makes the most sense out of all the hubbub on what to do with the site. Trying to replace them with something else just does not seem right or popular.
The best slap up side the head to terrorists would be the rebuilding of the Twin Towers. It would show them they are a just a bump in the road, and after passing over the bump it’s “full speed ahead”. Anything less would support the terrorists. And let’s get after it!

Rebuild both in New York, then build one in Afghanistan and another in Iraq. Good ideas should populate the globe.

The twin towers were always a symbol to me of New York and her people. Bigger than anything else and living large.
