It isn’t too late. we all know it. The freedom tower is nothing but a huge white flag, a symbol of defeat. Not to mention it’ll only make our economy worse. It’s so costly just to keep the current plan running, there would be an admission fee just to get into the mermorial! We don’t wanna pay for freedom do we? REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS! From the beginning of the aftermath I have felt that the bravest thing, the greatest thing, would be to rebuild the towers exactly as they were in their iconic greatness — perhaps even a bit taller. Only now years later, saddened that nothing has happened, yet hopeful now that President Obama has taken office I went online to search for an organized effort to accomplish this. I hope this is something that gets serious consideration — and soon.
As a proud American, and a future service member, it is a shame that we have not already rebuilt these symbols of freedom. These iconic towers stood in the New York skyline for 30 years. In essence we have let them win, they destroyed something that stood as a symbol of America, they destroyed them, and we’re too complacent to rebuild them. I believe Donald Trump has the best idea, rebuild them, but one floor taller.
I fully support this great effort to rebuild our country and restore american greatness. I can’t think of a more powerful and stoic symbol. Do not let this effort go silent!
I love the twin towers. If we rebuild them we are honoring the fallen that died that day. Trust me, those people that died would have wanted those twin towers to be rebuilt for their city. Rebuilding is the perfect way to show the people who destroyed the towers that they did not win. You can bomb the towers, you can hit them with planes and knock them down, but you can’t keep them down. It’s symbolic of the American spirit — perseverance, getting up and going on no matter how many times you get knocked down. To build anything else would just not be as powerful or as meaningful. Please reconsider that ‘freedom tower.’

As a company executive, I believe that we need to stay together as one nation to remember 911 – and to honor our lost – and to rebuild the vision of the TWIN TOWERS – in more majesty and glory than ever before – to demonstrate our resolve to be one free nation, under God, committed to the capitalistic freedom of this United States of America – and that we will defend to our death, the freedoms that were earned for us by our forefathers and nation’s founders. DON’T LET THE FEW RULE OVER THE MANY.

I agree that the towers should be re-built as they were – to stand tall in the face of the people that took them down. It would send a very strong message to the world. The message would not be an antagonistic or negative portrayal of our attitude, but a message of hope and strength and resolve. And it would be a tribute to all Americans and all of the people of the world that believe in freedom.

I am very supportive of the Twin Towers 2 design which is even higher than the original and still has a memorial. I like the fact that wtc 7 was built taller than it was and so should towers 1 & 2.
We need to not only give New York City and State and the Northeast Corridor its skyline back; or even America and the West. We need to give the world back its skyline because our hands are and always will be outstreched to those who seek a better life and wish to be one of with us.
I grew up on long island. I use to go and visit my grandmother on staten island using the varanzano bridge ( I hope I spelled that right) I could see New York City and the World Trade Center. I use to say those are really plain looking Twin Towers, Then came the day when I didn’t see them. It was like someone stabbed my heart and I didn’t feel good when I finally got to staten island, I live in Florida now, But in my heart I am first an American and then a New Yorker.
I love the twin towers and hoped to see them when i went to NY in 2002 and i hope the freedom tower is canceled and they rebuild the trade center the way it was only way taller and stonger. Freedom tower is a good remembrance but it is not as good as a new twin towers can be. Rebuild THE TWIN TOWERS.

I gurantee that it will be built stronger and much safer, it will also make a lot of people feel better. The Twin Towers were arguably the greatest construction ever to grace the face of New York, the United States, and even the world. Rebuilding the Twin Towers is the only thing that can help us move on from this terrible disaster. Anything else will be a constant reminder of the horrors of 9/11.

I really never heard of the twin towers until 9/11. I think it’s a GREAT idea to rebuild it. get as many people as you can!!!
