  1. I think you should build the TWIN TOWERS AGAIN because growing up i always wondered what it would be like to work there. Also i want to serve my country to dedicate my life to the 911 victims. So you should build the WTC 2 again better stronger and more bigger. Those two buildings felt like a symbol of freedom and courage.

Our country is the strongest and the best in the world, we deserve to get our towers back. those BASTARDS who destroyed our towers, whoever they were cant ever take them away from us, YES we will show everyone that a stronger AMERICA emerges out of the past America. New York will lose all its character without the twin towers. everyone has memories with them, so bring it back! please!

  5. The Twin Towers should be resurrected as a tribute to everyone who was lost during 9/11 as well as a nod to all the heroes of the NYPD and FDNY. Stop wasting MILLIONS of OUR tax dollars to fund some project designed by some mediocre architect that is costing us more than we can afford. We as Americans should be able to rebuild and rebuild correctly.

  6. What they are doing at ground zero is despicable and they never should have started but we can still get the twins back to make New York New York Again. We are honoring two towers with one smaller tower. The Twin Towers II is what everyone wants. We are remembering the lives lost on 9/11 by putting them underground which is like saying they went to hell. The water fall is stupid and Tower 2 has dumb angles which make no sense the bottom line is Rebuild The Twin Towers & Honor September 11 2001.

  7. I’m tired of money being wasted on a project that has not even begun. Rebuild the twin towers – it’ll cost less money and time. It’s what we want.

  8. THE TWIN TOWERS MADE US NEW YORKERS HAVE A CERTAIN TYPE OF PRIDE KNOWING THAT EVERY MORNING GOING TO SCHOOL OR GOING TO WORK U COULD SEE THEM FROM FAR AWAY AND KNOWING THAT ITS IN YOUR CITY. I WAS RAISED SEEING THOSE 2 BEAUTIFUL BUILDINGS TALKING ABOUT THEM AND ADMIRING HOW MAN CAN BUILD SOMETHING LIKE THAT. SO I THINK BRINGING THEM BACK WILL BRING NEW YORK AND AMERICAN PRIDE BACK INTO ALL OF OUR HEARTS AND SHOW THAT WE COME BACK STRONG.

  9. To not rebuild these towers as they were is a national disgrace! They represent all that is mighty and powerful with this great city and reflect the spirit of the USA. Please, enough is enough……REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS NOW!

  10. I’m all in for rebuilding the Twin Towers, however, I don’t feel that building a New York/American Icon across the Hudson is the right idea. I would love to see the Twin Towers rise up from the ashes of Ground Zero but the PA doesn’t, Unless a miracle happens and they dismantle the “Freedom Tower” complex in favor of TTII. There is the idea of filling in parts of the hudson near the WFC to build twin towers II to complement the skyline. I’m all for restoring the Twin Towers, but in New York.

  13. I saw the whole thing on that morning and from the beginning I’ve wanted the towers rebuilt, but bigger and stronger. I was appalled by the so-called Freedom Tower’s design, and I am disgusted with the ridiculous construction delays at the WTC. I want to see Lower Manhattan the way it used to be.

  16. I too want the towers built. I have photographs of the World Trade Center all over my home and have made my own memorials around the house. I usually can’t wait for night fall because that’s when I enjoy and turn on all the lights and tributes I’ve made here. I even have a lamp in my window that’s built like the Twin Towers and I’ve placed it there so when I turn on the lamp at night the second towers reflects in the window and I have my towers back. 6th floor of 295 Park Ave So. Take a look.

  17. I want to see the original twin towers rebuilt, but they should be built even bigger than they were before. The new design is ugly and stupid, and Silverstein should step down because he’s done a horrible job. Why doesn’t Trump buy him out and just build his twin towers proposal? I think he should if he can, he definitely has the money for it. Please rebuild the towers bigger and better! It’s the best way to stick it to those bastard terrorists.

  20. I think that the Twin Towers should be rebuilt. They were our strongest symbol of freedom and now more then ever they would represent that our city and nation is stronger and and better than ever and also they would serve as a tribute to the ones who lost their lives. I don’t understnad if 94 percent of the population want them back including myself, why they are doing the opposite of wht we want. I love the new twin towers by Kenneth Gardener.

    Please let’s all do something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. We must rebuild the twin towers if our city is to retain its greatness in the world. We live in a vertical city and to not have those towers is a painful reminder of a glory we had once achieved. Without those towers we have lost that glory and pride of place in our city and have been defeated by the terrorists and enemies of a free and open society. We need them both physically and psychologically as well as economically, in the long run, for our city to remain a great financial capital.

  24. When I was little, I remember looking up at the Twin Towers when ever I saw them. They were my favorite buildings, and I always thought they could never be brought down. I don’t want the Twin Towers gone because of an act of terror. I want them back, bring back the old New York skyline!

  25. To all the great citizens of New York, while driving in an around your city, delivering product from wisconsin, I have admired many beautiful structures, within your city. However, the twin towers have always looked so very special. As I live a mere 900 miles away, I can still feel the emptyness and void that will never come back, as long as the w.t.c. towers are gone. We must do the right thing, to show the rest of the world, even if by example, that we will not cower in the face of our enemies.

  26. I’ve been to the twin towers maybe twice in my lifetime but, they have always been a majestic part of our skyline. I miss seeing them on the Q train going over the Mannie B. Heck, I miss seeing them…period. I say, if you want to bring our economy back to where it was back then, rebuild the towers. There was no freedom tower back then, was there? No! There were the twin towers.

  27. New York has not been the same since 9-11. The idea of a freedom tower is just not enough. We have been delt a heavy blow one which had the people of our city depressed for a long time. The twin towers were iconic to NYC. Without them there’s an nasty scar on the face of our skyline. Anything else we build would just be cheap make-up trying to mask the scar. We know all the weaknesses of our lost Twin Towers. We CAN make them Taller, Stronger, Safer & more efficient than ever before. We should!

  28. The current Silverstein plan only seems to accept that the U.S. has failed to defend its confidence and integrity. With a slumping economy and a unforeseen future the best we can do to get ourselves back on a healthy track is to revitalize Lower Manhattan, a.k.a. Financial Capital of the World, and lead the way to a robust America. By rebuilding the Twin Towers, we are showing the world that we are stronger. It would be more cost effective to rebuild the Twin Towers that complement the current “One World Trade Center” rendering. Silverstein and the Port Authority should consider dumping Towers 2, 3, 4 and build a second “One World Trade Center” adjacent to the current one being built. You can then add smaller buildings surrounding the complex and keep the current memorial design intact. People would be able to view the memorial from a greater distance and appreciate stronger and safer Twin Towers. As current Towers 2, 3, 4 are disputed, we can easily rebuild Twin Towers. Yes We Can!!
