Nothing will tell our enemies how fruitless their cause is, than to see those two towers rise again- ONE STORY HIGHER PERHAPS- so that the world can see that we can not be defeated!
Let the word go forth to all the people on the Earth - the Lady in the Habor lifts her lamp to all who will cherish freedom - and let her light once again illuminate the Twin Towers that held so many loved ones, and in whose memory we will build them again - taller and stronger! I can not think of a better memorial than to rebuild the towers as they were before. If rebuilt the same way, they will ALWAYS be remembered and NY/NJ/USA will send a message to the world that we can not ever be beaten.
The American people and the people of the world must start to take their power back from the criminals who destroyed those beautiful buildings and who are destroying the American constitution and turning this whole planet into a surveillance prison! I've never been to New York but i have seen the twin towers many times in pictures and in movies. They ARE New York! Put them back up so that someday, i might be able to see them for myself. I don't see why they don't rebuild the towers. Oh wait there because people want to make money out of the freedom tower complex, that's why. Re-build them, morale will be somewhat different then in America.

No American will be without a tear of joy at the sight of our strong buildings rising again, and the short-cited owers could actually make a profit if they incorporate much needed condos, apartments, hotel rooms, retail, entertainment, AND offices into the venue. I would love to live there and would actually pay a premium to do so. *EVEN IF NO PART* of the buidings could be used, the huge void it will fill is well worth the financial cost of LESS THAN 1% of what the Iraq War has cost us already!
I worked in WTC 2 for a half-dozen years, witnessed the terror of the destruction. I would prefer to have the entire center restored to its originsl splendor. However, we must build it with adequate structural improvements, reverting to a more orthodox design such as used in the Empire State Bldg.,an extremely solid masonry structure, but NOW with an anti-aircraft/anti-missile defense installation on or near the site!!!

Rebuild the Twin Towers & reopen them on an anniversary of 9/11 & proclaimed it a national holiday--"freedom day." Visiting them would be like an pilgrimage for all Americans! Office space would be sold out there--it would be very patriotic to be apart of the TTs resurrection. I have been writing letters to prez candidates asking for support in rebuilding the towers--I am not sure what else to do. I can think of nothing more honorable to the memory of those victims then to rebuild what was lost.

Even though i'm not american, I'm British. I Still Believe that the Twin Towers should Be Built along side the freedom tower. The Twin Towers can represent New York as a strong City that can never be blown down and the Freedom tower can represent a New York that will never stop growing.
I want my towers back! I feel for the famlies of all the lives lost. This is the only way to show all the world that we will show respect to those who died.

The fact that we haven't put the Twin Towers back up in nearly 6 years is completely unacceptable. We (as Americans) should go out of our way to reconstruct these symbols of Americanism as soon as possible. There's no reason why the towers cannot be reconstructed, with appropriate safety and security improvements, within 2 years.
Let's put aside the politicking and immediately put up these two great symbols of American success -- the Twin Towers.

Fill the aching gap in the skyline! Every morning commuting from NJ, the Towers were the visual object for my day's blesssings "God bless this day and all that's in it" is what I would say looking at the Towers. I used to see the Towers from a 2nd floor window in my NJ house. I looked for then when I crossed over Rte 3 to the grocery store. I still look for them, I still try to bless my day searching for something that held as much meaning. There is none. My heart aches at the empty sky.

Born and raised in D.C. (we're a part of 9/11 too). I've only been to New York once as a kid in the early 90's. The memory that stays with me the most was the site of "The Towers" still visible miles outside of the city as we were heading home. My eyes glued to the back window until "The Towers" were completely out of site. I will return to New York one day, and when I do, I want to see MY TOWERS!!! I miss them. WE AMERICANS WANT OUR TWIN TOWERS BACK, NOW!!!!!

To honor our dead and the heroic efforts of the rescue personel, a simple "memorial" is not adequate. Only resurection can heal us. We must show our unwavering solidarity... and if the developers who stand to make millions erecting the archetectual "slaps-in-the-face" Freedom Tower donot submit to the public will, then they need to be removed by the government. They work for us. Not for their pocketbooks. Thank you!

I'm a native New Yorker and I can't imagine another building rising in the spot of the Twin Towers. I miss my Towers and all I can say is put them back! Nothing else will do! Whenever I come back to visit NY, I want to puke when I see that gap where the Towers once stood. Restore NY's skyline to it's greatness by putting the Towers back.
