I definitely support the wtc being rebuilt. The Freedom tower is nice, but it just doesn't have the "wow" factor like the wtc did. Plus it would be a message to all the terrorists that we can pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and rebuild 10 times better. I say rebuild the towers bigger than they were to start. The NY skyline just isn't the same without the Twin Towers, it was a signature landmark, and the freedom tower doesn't stand up to them.

I am traveling to New York next week and I'm so sad and disppointed that I didn't get to see the Twin Towers for real. Nothing would make me happier to see them resurrected - it would be the ultimate 'f*ck you' to the inbreeds who took part in and celebrated the original terrible act of terrorism. The Freedom Tower being built would be an insult - it is unattractive and resembles nothing to what the World Trade Centre once was. Let's recreate the towers. Let's make it New York again.

It's the "broken windows" principle on a large scale. We fixed the Pentagon pretty quickly, didn't we.

How can there be a memorial for a building that does not look like the building to be remembered? Please give back to us what we miss so much.

I believe that this would be the wish of those who left us, if they had a single minute to go back to this place.... how could they ever accept something else? What would they think if they saw NY without WTC?

There is nothing more respectful than rebuilding these towers. Nothing else would bring back our lost friends closer to our hearts.

I am a native NYer and i was there at 911 and I will never forget the sight of thousands of NYers walking up park ave looking stunned and dazed, a real 3rd world sight we are Americans and NYers and we are tough, and gritty, we need to rebuild the towers and not cower we need to send a message loud and clear that we are not afraid but rather we are one in our resistance to tyranny and fear, we are all one city and nation unafraid and undaunted as we face an islamic tyranny not one of choice

Emotional intensities aside (not to lessen the importance of personal expression) our integrity as a nation in the position we have in and to the world requires us to do everything we can to rebuild those towers. We are not a cowardly people.

9/11 2001 was the day that i go on holyday to new york at 19.00 ours, but 15.00 ours i get that terible news a stupid radical moslim crash whit a plane in my favorit buildings, i was so angry al my live i dream about to stand on the top of the twintowers i know that i never see the twin towers whit my own eyes and it still hurts that i can never do that.
my wish is that one day in my live i will see them with my own eyes. now we whait till 2011

These towers should have been built by now! Those middle easterners think we'll never get them built and are laughing - saying it serves the infedels right!

So......Let's get them up stronger and taller than before - and then ask God's protection for the people who work within them.

I think it is a great idea to rebuild the Twin Towers. If we rebuild the Towers then we are showing that we are trying to rebuild our country too. We are also proving to other countries that we will stop at nothing, I think if we rebuild the Towers would be completing our nation. Cause one of my dreams was to visit the Twin Towers one day, and I had that dream stolen from me, and i dont think thats fair. If nothing else then just rebuild it in the memory of all the people who lost their lives!!!!

The Twin Towers were a beautiful landmark. If they were rebuilt, it would proove that anything can be done. Rebuilding the towers would be like us saying, "Nothing can keep us down."

The towers were an important part of the most recognized skyline in the world. They were unique and we should not accept any substitutes.

I agree with Dave Roset, rebuild them just as they were with one extra floor each. On those extra floors put an Army base with radar guided gatling guns. The Freedom Tower is perhaps the ugliest building I have ever seen.

I am a native born New Yorker living in Texas.When the towers went down it broke everyones hearts,the best way to stick it to the shit that cowardly attacked the symbol of american strength and ingenuity would be to build the towers only bigger.Anything else to me is a defeat plain and simple..

I was lucky enough to experience eating on the highest floor of the twin towers, and to stand on the roof of the other one. Just two months before this happened. I thank God with all my heart that I got to experience this and get pictures before they were gone. No other building will ever take the place of these towers. Screw the Empire State building. I want the twin towers back, there is no greater way to show how strong we are! SAME HEIGHT, SAME DESIGN! Justin P!
