The Freedom Tower is a joke. All grace and no power. The Twin Towers were a symbol of freedom, power, inspiration and economic might. Please, stop this attempt to erect NY's first wimpy skyscraper. God Bless America!

Dont erase our history...Rebuild the towers!

I can think of no better way to show the world our resolve then to build the towers again where they once stood!

The terrorists wanted to destroy a symbol of America. By rebuilding the towers, we tell the world we will not be defeated!

Make New York whole again. Rebuild the Twin Towers.

I GREW UP IN NJ LOOKING AT THE TOPS OF THOSE TOWERS ABOVE THE HORIZON. THEY NEED TO GO BACK 10 STORIES TALLER. ALL THE POLITICALLY CORRECT IDIOTS CAN'T GET IT DONE. THE PEOPLE NEED TO DEMAND THE ORIGINAL PLAN WITH MODERN IMPROVEMENTS. NO MORE BS GERMAN ARCHITECT CRAP AND POLITICAL BS.

Nearly 6 years have gone by and we have nothing yet to truely replace the twin towers which is a tragedy. Rebuild the towers with a different structure that better withstand another similar attack. Americans from previous generations whould have had the work done and dedicated 2 years ago while we still have to look at dirt. Lets put and end to weakness of the politicians and get some backbone and fulfill the will of the American people. I saw the Twin Towers twice and was awed by their sight.

Build two new twin towers, but bigger, better, and stronger. Contour and modernize them a bit to look less like lego blocks. Lets show the world we have a bit of creativity and passion for design.

I had never been to the twin towers but I am 100% American, patriotic and proud of it!! The towers MUST be rebuilt as they were. Not rebuilding them is a standing sign to the terrorists that they won that battle (though a cowardly one it was). We MUST preserve the freedom that our country enjoys for our children and generations to come. THE TERRORISTS MUST BE EXTERMINATED FROM THIS COUNTRY!! God Bless America!!

I used to live in NY and had an office at 50 Broadway. The view out of my window was that of the Twin Towers. They were an impressive sight and should not be replaced with anything else. This may sould corny, but I would point to the towers and tell people, "Look at them. They are a testament to the cooperative efforts of man. No one man could have built that on his own." It's a shame that so many built them and it only took 19 to take them down. REBUILD!

I never liked the Twin Towers while growing up on Long Island. I thought they were ugly. But now that losers like Osama bin Laden, a coward who hides in caves and lets others do his dirty work, has succeeded in knocking them down I miss those two ugly towers and want them back! Maybe you could make them a little more stylish and less early 1970's, but still I WANT THEM BACK! Anything else is giving in to the terrorists. Let's put them back up within Osama's lifetime so he knows he has FAILED.

There is no doubt in my mind that the only way America can completely heal from the 911 murders, is to rebuild those towers, not with a smaller version or with a memorial, but with a new soaring structure equal to or surpassing the originals. We are America and we symbolize the spirit of freedom and possibility to all the world. Let's show everyone, and ourselves, that we can make this happen.

The best slap up side the head to terrorists would be the rebuilding of the Twin Towers. It would show them they are a just a bump in the road, and after passing over the bump it's "full speed ahead". Anything less would support the terrorists. And let's get after it!

This makes the most sense out of all the hubbub on what to do with the site. Trying to replace them with something else just does not seem right or popular.

I submit to you that these towers are a sign of defeat and we are defeated until we rebuild those towers. If we can build other American landmarks such as the Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge inrecord time, surely we can grow a couple of skyscrapers! It's essential that we restore those land marks as a sign of victory. Unless of course we no longer care for victory, in that case save the money and build another park in NY. You have my opnion and recomendation. Don't let America Down!!

Rebuild the WTC Complex ESPECIALLY the Twin Towers EXACTLY as they were prior to 9/11. Well, of course this doesn't mean minus extra saftey enhancements (ie No More of that spray on fire extinguishing Foam that blew off when the planes struck, and using more heavy duty steel trusses).

The Freedom Tower though, geeze what a joke. Some of the plans seem like they've been more along the lines of a 50 story building with a 60 story antenna/spire! What does that say about America?!?

It's past time to proceed with rebuilding this iconic landmark. ....If we fail to do so, we fail to continue the legacy of those Americans who died within its walls. And we perpetuate, instead, a legacy of enemy terrorism. Let's roll!!

the only way to show terrorism that we will not be shaken or disturbed by their actions is to rebuild what they have destroyed. make it taller, stronger, and bigger than before. A memorial will tell them they were successful. a rebuild will show our resolve.

The twin towers were always a symbol to me of New York and her people. Bigger than anything else and living large.

Tell the terrorists we Americans, especially New Yorkers, dare you to try it again once our new towers are built.

There can be no better testament to the indominable spirit of Americans generally and New Yorkers in particular than the rebuilding of the Twin Towers as they stood prior to 9/11. Perhaps 1 or 2 stories higher...

As Americans, we have the ability, ingenuity and the resources to rebuild two skyscrapers in substantially less time than it took the terrorists - who live in caves - to plan the attack that toppled them. It's time to get to work!

The Twin Towers being rebuilt would be the greatest memorial to those who lost their lives on 9/11. Donald Trump even has an excellent plan for the rebuild. We need to show that we are stronger than those who took those towers down!

Rebuild it. No greater statement could be made. Make it stronger and one story taller. Anything less would be weak and would not represent the spirit of America. May God bless this great nation. We are the last hope and should never forget that.
