I strongly believe that the towers should be rebuilt. They are symbolic to our peoples and nation. I want to have the opportunity to see how they were once again.

I have been following the events of 9/11 and the rebuilding effort over the years and it pains me to think that these 2 beautiful towers were not even considered when polling showed over 90% of people not just in America but around the world wanted the Twin Towers rebuilt. Despite the new Trade Center being mostly rebuilt already I still hold out hope that one day I may visit New York and my dream that the twins will be there bigger and better than before can be realised. It is what the American people and the people of all the free world deserve to see, to show those scumbag terrorists that we will not let you have the satisfaction of ruining our livelihoods.

I was down at the World Trade Center just three days ago.I hated to gaze up where I used to see two shimmering silver towers and instead see a glass gravestone which claims to be the future of architecture. I do like the symbolic height, but they should've rebuilt the Twin Towers with that height.

I don't get it. Downtown New York is a terrible place now, with those awful generic skyscrapers.

In my opinion, the main reason to rebuilt the Twin Towers is purely ethical. The leaders of 9/11 tragedy are now satisfied, as they think that by destroying them they managed to terrorize Americans. But no. Americans should get over 9/11 (not forget it) and demand from their government to rebuilt them, because in this way they wil show terrorists that they even such a major hit, won't frighten them. The Twin Towers II should look exactly like the previous ones (to show that 9/11 didn't have impacts of fear on the U.S), be built with stronger materials (in order to resist any attack) and become some floors higher (to show that America is now even stronger than before).
New York's skyline will be renewed but at the same moment not changed

I visited New York in 2012, it is a very different place now. If they rebuilt the twin towers it would have added some character to the skyline again...

Please rebuild the twin towers. The skyline with them was unmistakable and majestic. Nothing can compare. Those towers were to NYC what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris.

The Twin Towers at the World Trade Center were some of the most significant and recognized landmarks in the world. They represented way more than just two skyscrapers. They also stranded for the American prosperity and power and American way of living. Those are not something could easily be gone with the buildings. We should bring the buildings back. Along with those, are all of the things above, and stronger.

I was in the WTC the Friday before the attacks setting up a new office and was told by my IT installation department that my PC would not be connected until the 12th. At the time I was working in midtown and living in the Bronx. The move to the WTC would have meant a longer commute, however, I did not mind as this location was exactly where I wanted to be as I had always longed to work there as it was the place to be. The Freedom Tower no way replaces the visual satisfaction of the TWIN TOWERS! I have had a hole in my heart for the longing to see the TWIN TOWERS that never will be replaced by the Freedom Tower. Even now I wonder how the absence of a couple of buildings can weigh so heavily on my life! It does...holding back the tears!

New York is a somber place now. The city of my dreams, ruined 14 years ago. And there still exists, a hole in my heart. The Twin Towers were part of it. I loved the open plaza at the base of the towers. And I would head up this lavender elevator to a subtle, relaxing and exciting view of New York and New Jersey.

Fourteen years and 3 months ago, the Twin Towers were destroyed, and reduced to nothing, along with 3,000 innocent citizens. Now, what sticks out of the World Trade Center's ground is a concrete rod surrounded in glass. Not to mention, with an antenna on top, half the height of the building.

What we want is a new version, V2.0 of the Twin Towers. Advanced in technology and up-to-date, the towers will once again reclaim the title as New York's most iconic buildings.

I was in NY last week, I lived there part of my adolescence back in 1986 and going back to one of the greatest cities of the world without the WTC ... it didn't feel same ... NEW York is not the same ... Those iconic towers need to be built again ... to show our power and not give the victory to those who destroyed them!! Please build them back!

For many years now, I have known about the Twin Towers. For a good portion of that, I have wished that somehow, I could get to see them, go inside them.

The new 1WTC and 2WTC are alright, but it isn't New York without those Towers, standing tall.

If there is one thing I and Mr Trump can agree on, it's that the US is admitting defeat by not rebuilding the Twins.

We NEED to REBUILD WTC TOWERS II, GET BACK THE FORMER EXTERIOR DESIGN OF THE ORIGINAL TOWERS! Build them taller and better(use larger core,staircases with the triangular rest area as in 1 WTC). Hollow steel sq. tubing with triangular support system inside concrete with re-bar, finish with shiny steel metal facade. Build a tower with upgrades in Canada, then RC one of the largest airplanes, bigger than a 777/A380, maybe a Beluga(?) into it to see if that knocks it down; notes NOE explosive assistance.

Bigger, Stronger, Thicker, Taller than before. As I remembered, and millions of others has remembered, as the two giants stood next to one another. For the future generations of our American society to remember what we were, and what we will be. Please, rebuild the towers the way it should be, for the American people. Let us show the world we still stand strong and tall, and now we stand stronger and taller than before.

I want America to stand again by building the twin towers back in the same place where they were fallen by the terrorists.

Please put them back for all the people like me that so badly want to see them. What better way to come back than to show we were not defeated and we can come back stronger.

I've never been to NYC but I remember seeing the towers in many movies from my childhood in the 80s/90s, I always wanted to visit them if I was in New York. I was stunned and saddened by 9/11. I would love to see them rebuilt, if not then a twin of freedom tower, the skyline has never looked the same to me, it looks empty without the twins.

My father used to work in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. I was born early in 2001, and visited the WTC complex as a baby. Growing up in NYC, the skyline became scarred. I would love to see the WTC be rebuilt so that people like me, survivors and families could relive the past in the future, and refresh the vibrant experience that the WTC provided.

I was born in 2004, after the 9/11, i was 11 years old when i realise the tragedy cause by those culprits who are the ones who want this towers down. For the sake of this, I want those towers back! and in 2021, my dream will be true!

I love NYC from my childhood! I have watched so many movies, which were made in 80s-90s - and I always loved the Twin Towers in that countless numbers of movies! And one of my biggest dreams was to grow up and go to NYC to see it for real! But, unfortunately, I didn't make it, because of I was only eleven years old when WTC twins collapsed! And now, when I am 25 years old, I finally made it to go to NYC! But it ain't "that" city for 100 percent which I loved from my childhood! So! I really want them to be rebuilt! And when I will come back to NYC, I can see this great buildings in the NYC skyline! I don't know is it possible to do it with Freedom Tower was built, but I hope that some one will work it out and make dream comes true!

Those towers must be rebuilt. they should look as they did in the past. no modern touches. what needs to change is their strength. They must be rebuilt.

I would love to see the towers back on New York's skyline. Maby next to one world trade center. So rebuild them please.

We must take America back!

I still can't believe that rebuilding the original towers wasn't the plan from day one. How could anyone want any other option? If I had been on those planes or in those towers, I would want two things done to honor me: destroy the animals responsible for this attack, and REBUILD EVERYTHING. The Freedom Tower and complex are beautiful but totally inappropriate. The complex reminds me of cold, broken pieces of the original towers. We went from two giant, confident, bold, magical monuments reaching for the sky, to a bunch of short, boring, dead pieces. Is that supposed to represent that we've "learned our lesson" and become more humble and weak? Not me. I'm more pissed and determined than ever. And I know I'm not alone.

My mother is from NY, so even though I grew up in Boston, we visited so much that New York was always my home away from home. The World Trade Center was one of my most loved playgrounds as a child. I'll never forget jumping up in the air at the moment the high speed elevator stopped at the observatory to experience weightlessness! And that view from the top! I didn't go to New York for 14 years after the towers fell because I knew it would be unbearable to see the city without them. When I finally saw the Freedom Tower in person a couple weeks ago, it was sickening. My first thought was: "BUT IF THERE WERE TWO OF THEM......."

I may not be an American citizen, but that won't stop me from supporting such a great country. I am all in favour of rebuilding the Twin Towers. Best way to make this happen is rebuild them instead of the proposed Buildings 2 and 3. What better way to show how America has healed from such a tragic day by rebuilding the Twin Towers. Bring back these amazing buildings to show they can rise from the ashes.

I was very little when the towers collapsed, but they are my favorite buildings in the world. I would love nothing more than for them to rebuild the twin towers.

I was very little when the twin towers were destroyed but I really wish that I could have seen them! One day I'm going to visit NYC and go see the memorial and museum and I would love to see the real towers there, bigger and better than they once were!

We simply need those towers back. The one world trade center tower can still stand but the twins were a landmark. Now i'm from Denmark but i hate the Bjarke Ingels design. In my mind we have two options. Rebuild the Original Twin Towers or build an identical twin of the One world trade center tower.

My heart has never been the same without those beautiful majestic towers. I always felt a sense of connection to them and now that they are gone I feel that New York no longer feels like New York. For those of you too young to remember you'll never know how truly spectacular these towers were. You can't replace an icon.

Please rebuild the original Twin Towers. Just build the buildings taller and stronger than the old ones were. This will show terrorists how strong we are. Please build it in the exact same spots they were in, even if it would ruin the memorial. They can just rebuild a memorial inside the new Twin Towers. Please.

I live in Ireland but I wish I lived in America. I would love to see the twin towers rebuilt the same with the permission of the families that lost thier loved ones. GOD BLESS AMERICA. New York will never be the same without them.

I was in the middle of a school day when I first heard of the 9/11 tragedy. It was devastating then and still is to this day. Every year for three or four days around 9/11 I search the internet for some sign the original monuments will be rebuilt in all their beauty. I don't live in New York, but even the pictures have a big gap! The only way to establish our true strength as a nation is to rebuilt bigger and stronger not build around. Please rebuild these international icons in all their original glory!

I am so far away from New York, but as an American we have to rebuild only taller and better. What a normal American would want to see. Greatness of our country is what Trump was talking about in 2005 and government turned a blind eye to a man that helped build an empire in New York. I said my peace.

Rebuild the Twin Towers after all I don't live in New York but New York City needs the Twin Towers rebuild and also the Nation needs the Twin Towers up in the skyline of New York City it's not the same without the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center

I was only about 2 on 9/11. My father worked in 4 WTC. He is still alive to the day but for me this gave me the absence of experiencing and seeing these towers for myself. It's a real shame we are seeing the freedom tower being replaced for this. As if these buildings never existed... REBUILD.
