Rebuild the Towers and do it now!

I stood on top the year they were completed as a child and again the month before the fell. They are a personal favorite of mine and anything else would be just a counterfeit!

I love New York! Until the Twin Towers are rebuilt exactly the same way they were, I will NEVER be able to get by what happened. That day took a part of me, andwe can put that part back!

I agree there is no substitue. But at the same time NYC needs to back off with its increasingly facist police presence and rediculous rules and fiats. I hope they are rebuilt but don't have much faith that such a thing will happen.

Rebuilding the twin towers is absolutely the only thing to do. It'll show the world America stands strong and restores NY's skyline and image which the world recognizes instantly.

I drove from Tennessee on September 12th, to do what I could to clean up what had been my favorite spot in the country. I definitely think the Twin Towers should be rebuilt. I think the areas where the planes hit the towers should be made into a memorial. If we don't rebuild them then we are letting Bin Laden win. He is basically dictating to us about building tall buildings. We can't have that. We must rebuild the twin towers.

It would be wonderful to see the twin towers soaring over the Manhattan skyline again. What a great way to say to the terrorists, "if you try to knock us down, we will always stand right back up again."

Every time I see a movie that is pre-911 and see that skyline, I miss it. Lets rebuild it, why should we grant the islamofacists a perminent victory of the loss of our skyline.

Why would we build something other than the Towers? I want the original skyline back, and I want to stick it in the eye of the radical muslims. We need to show strength, and putting those building back is the best way to do that.

When someone sprays graffiti...the best solution is often to repaint as quick as possible so as to reduce the exposure for the vandal - minimize his perceived success. Our situation is no different...only the vandal is bigger and distruction bigger.
