Why Get the Artists frustrated with this Freedom Tower. I was drawing a nice picture of Manhattan and the new WTC was all over the place, attenas and sharp pointy things?! I decided to draw a picture of the skyline from 1999 and was ABLE to because the Design Worked!
I don’t live in the USA but I would love to go to New York to see the twin towers rise up above the skyline again, I am totally for TT2 and totally against the Freedom Tower, if the Twin Towers are rebuilt, it will show the terrorists that they can’t win.
I have never been to New York but I wish the Twin Towers were still there, I was 7 when it happened and I didn’t even know what they were, I can remember being told. As I grew up it had a great effect on me and touched me so much. New York will not be the same without them! It would be amazing to see them back! Building just a memorial would be like giving a trophy to those terrorists, saying well done, you’ve won. Bring them back!

The correct thing to do would be to rebuild A.S.A.P. as im sure if other American icons were destroyed they would be rebuilt. I was lucky to visit the World Trade Center and to be on the roof. There is nothing else like it what a view. Eight years has past and all New York has to show is nothing. To the pepole of New York Demand that you get your Magnificent twin towers rebuilt. Accept nothing else.

I like everyone around the world was shocked with the 9/11 attacks and cant believe that it has taken so long to make a decision on what should be built on the site. Everyone around the world, when you mention New York, thinks 1st of the famous skyline. The towers must be rebuilt, and I agree with Donald Trump in that an extra floor should be built to show these cowards that its just like the song says, I get knocked down, but I get up again, you wont ever keep me down.
Although I am not from your country,I have a great respect for those who died in action or those who were or are victims of the tragic. Personally I believe it should be made into a memorial park for families to remember their loved ones, but also think that if they could be rebuilt the same as the originals it would be great and would serve as a message that we all fight back, bearing in mind the respect of all families linked to this site.

Ever since I was a child, the WTC towers were to me an incredibly strong icon of America. I dreamt about going there, visiting my favorite city and favorite pair of skyscrapers. My father once went to the towers, and the pictures and stories he brought home fueled my lust for going there one day.
In September 2001 my dreams were shattered when on television I could see that someone had destroyed the towers. I wish nothing but to see the iconic towers rise again! When they do, I’ll be there.

I have always had a great fascination with the Twin Towers, and think that they were exceptionally beautiful buildings that carried a powerful message. It would mean so much more to people not only in the USA, but to the entire world’s people to rebuild these symbols of freedom and integrity, than the cheap glass ornaments of historical irrelevance that the project leaders are so misguidedly forcing upon the world’s people.

I visited New York City almost three years ago. Where once stood the magnificent Twin Towers, there was instead an empty void. I believe that no design can replace the Twin Towers in the hearts of the USA’s citizens and in the hearts of its friends and allies.

Bring back the WTC! I have been to Ground Zero twice since 9/11 and would feel ashamed and angry if I was an American at the lack of development.
Bringing back the WTC is necessary for america to move forward. It would help the healing process.
