Please rebuild those wonderful towers who illuminate again New York by there incredible height. The twins towers was really a symbol for the America and even for my country the Canada. Im really sad they was destroyed but we can forget and rebuild. The people who destroyed it don’t merit we stand here to do nothing, we must fight and rebuild the most quick possible to show we are not coward and we are free and trust in God. Im only 16 years old and im not american but i like this country and want to stay on it and i trust you are a free people and these attack show you was able to go in the burning towers to save those bless people who just want one thing, live. Don’t re-place, re-build! If the Whitehouse or Statue of Liberty got hit they would be replaced. 10 years is far too long a wait. If the city of NY own the site and want the towers back then why not?! Much money and time would be saved and a much happier outcome will result. The new ‘freedom tower’ and other new WTC designs just don’t seem right to me or most people. Building these completely different buildings show that the terrorists had won and changed America, whilst rebuilding these recognized and admired monuments of New York show tribute to those who died and that America can’t be changed, and comes back stronger.
The United States is not the United states without the original Twin Towers. New York is not New York Without The original Twin Towers. That is why they must be rebuilt as they were before. If you build the skyline different then you bow to the terrorists. Do not bow to them. Build New York as it was before. There could be no stronger Symbol of Freedom and Strength then to see Gleaming new Twin Towers in the New York Skyline.
As one unfortunate enough to have not visited the WTC during his lifetime, I believe that there could be nothing else acceptable for New York City other than rebuilding the Twin Towers and the WTC as they were before, complete with a genuine memorial in memory of the people who died on both February 26, 1993 and September 11, 2001. The “Freedom Tower” that is being built and is unfortunately nearly finished is totally unacceptable. I believe that the skyline must be restored to what it was prior to 9/11/2001. What the people and I want are the Twin Towers rebuilt, stronger, fire-proofed and soaring above New York once again. Even though they were the tallest on Earth for a short time, they were great, beautiful and awesome.
At the time of the attacks I was only 11 years old, I wish I had the chance to see the twin towers when they stood in all their glory. It was not only the American population that was rocked by the 9/11 attacks, it was the whole world. I remember coming home from school on the day of the attacks and seeing the twin towers collapse and I just broke down crying. To see such devastation was unbearable and I feel for those who lost their lives in the twin towers on that day and indeed the families of those people. I believe that in order for America to fully recover the Twin Towers should be rebuilt as they were only even stronger as a message to the cowards stating YES we built them again and NO you can’t Hurt us anymore. Long live the TwinTowers.
Personally I would prefer to see the Twin Towers rebuilt at ground zero as a symbol of America and the world’s defiance againts global terrorisom. I think New Yorks iconic sky line should be restored to its former glory.

Since I was a kid, I had always dreamed of visiting NYC, with it’s beautiful skyline, dominated by the twin towers. If somebody had told me something about NYC, The twin towers is the first thing that would think about. I clearly remember that day, september 11th. I was shocked and horrified to see those terrible events which took lives of so many innocent people. I asked myself, “How could they?”. To this day I am not able to answer that one. In my opinion, they should have rebuilt the old WTC. As a sign to the terrorists that the spirit of NYC cannot be broken, so its skyline. By rebuilding the WTC the perpetrators of would that they did not achieve their primary goal: To terrorize us.
As Donald Trump said we can’t replace the Statue of Liberty, so also we can’t replace the Twin Towers with ‘The Freedom Tower’. I can’t recognize New York without the Twin Towers and we can’t just stay and watch how they are building something we don’t want… What do you prefer to see Twin Towers or 4 ugly towers?

I’m not american, but i love that beatiful country. And i really prefer the reconstruction of the World Trade Center. I saw the famous Twin Towers in many movies and pictures in the Internet. Sometimes, i wish i was there to go inside them and see NYC from the (real) highest point of view.
I was 7 when the Towers were destroyed. Now i have 17, and when i see NYC without the Twins i think, “there’s something missing in this city”.

I really don’t understand why the new world trade center plan has been approved and is being built. It is a very unsatisfactory replacement for the magnificent, grand and elegant twin towers that were truly awe inspiring and pierced the New York Skyline so beautifully!
The Freedom tower is an odd design that will look out of place in New York, and more to the point doesn’t mean anything. It’s simply another skyscraper out of many that have risen from the ground over the years. As for the other surrounding towers that accompany it, disgraceful is not even the word. They are all at random heights and at different angles which frankly, look odd.
The whole design looks like an art project designed by a high school kid… That cannot be the case! REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!!
It’s such a scandal and a shame that they are building this stupid Freedom Tower that it is not even called by that name anymore. It’s just named ‘One World Trade Center’ and that’s a big disgrace. Not only from Mayor Bloomberg but also from ex-governor Pataki and Mr. Silverstein and all the other people who supported it.
This New WTC complex with their stupid One World Trade Center is a big embarrasment not only to the Great People of America but to the whole world and to our future offsprings. Even here in Holland people are thinking it’s a joke about the new WTC with how long it took to start to rebuild and with what they are building right now.

I have lived for 5 years in NY state when I was younger and went visiting the Twin Towers Observation Deck around 1980 for the 1st time, and 1990 for the last time. In 2001, like every cityzens around the World, I was shocked by the tragedy of September 11th, but also shocked by NY politicians arrogance toward the rebuilding of the WTC, especially Silverstein and Bloomberg, they are the same as the one who is leading the country where I live.
I have returned twice in NY since 2001, but something is deeply missing in Manhattan and I thought it would be rebuild as it use to be before 2001. NY deserves much better then this horrific Freedom Tower, the Ken Gardner project is absolutely fabulous, it must become reality.
I am in favour of rebuilding the Twin Towers. I like the new 1 WTC however the Twin Towers should be rebuilt and surpass the Freedom Tower. The Twin Towers showed everything America was, great, united and powerful in many aspects. The Freedom Tower represents America’s resilience against any attack no matter how devastating. Rebuilding the Twin Towers would be the ultimate memorial honouring those who gave their lives to save others and ordinary, innocent workers who perished in the tragic events of 9/11. America is the most powerful nation in the world so why let a minority ruin that and show them what America is really about and win by rebuilding those magnificent towers, this time stronger and taller to once again be the greatest buildings
