Starting my early days I am keening on the Twin Towers. I am keening on their beauty and their interesting construction but tragedy. Twin Towers were one of the most honorable places in the world, you know. People all around the world know them.
That time had slipped and only North Tower has remained.
I do not think that it is good idea to build Ground Zero because I think it is not real replacement of Twin Towers.
Anyway I hope that Twin Towers will be rebuilt. Even if it will take 30 years.
I’m a Peruvian (now an American citizen,too) living in the U.S for 17 years, and like everybody in the world I was horrified by the terrorists attacks against New York. I can’t still watch the destruction of the Twin Towers. I was deeply affected. If you want to honor the lives lost at this tragic event, New York must rebuild their famous Twin Towers, not replacing them. Raising them like the Fenix, will be a slap in the face for those terrorists and show up to them what this country is: Stronger and not easy to give up, but build the Freedom Tower will do the opposite.
Hi! I’m Hungarian, and even if I didn’t see the Twin Towers, and haven’t been to the USA, I want those buildings back! When I see a film, and it sets in New York, and I can’t see the towers in the background I feel that something important is missing. They were symbols, and the two towers were as important as any other famous buildings in the USA. Why build a new one instead of rebuilding them, with doubled safety of course? I want them rebuilt!
The Towers were sublime, exquisite and stunning especially at night. Now, no one will be able to view them, visit them, and enjoy the view from the top, so THE TERRORISTS HAVE SUCCEEDED AND THEIR KIND CAN FOREVER BOAST “HERE WE DID IT”. Also, a certain ambitious architect has succeeded in essentially building a memorial to himself in its place (let’s not go into the ironies of the causes and effects here). Total crying shame, and I don’t feel like visiting New York at all.
I wasn’t a victim of those who died. I alway’s wanted to visted New York. I feel so horrible to those who died in the plane crashes and the world trade center. We should rebuild a stronger building that will better protect everyone. We should put a special palce for those victim so that they can visted the site. My heart goes out to those who died especially the one in flight 93 who fight back and try to save their lives as well as other. Everytime I see a movie that has the world trades center. Or they show the world trade center the day of the attack. My heart go out to those victim.
I always thought they should have been rebuilt exactly the same as before, maybe a little taller with safety in mind so structurally more sound. Similar in idea to the war when Germany blew up a bridge we would rebuild it, they would blow it up again and we would rebuild it again. Stubborn pride in the face of the enemy. im from the UK and i defo agree that the Twin Towers should be rebuilt the usa is strong and by doing this they would show this to everyone, i remember the day when i got home from school i saw on the news about this it was scary stuff. i really feel sorry for everyone who had to witness such terror that day and my heart goes out to everyone who lost there lives that day
I love the WTC. I went there in july 2000 with family. It was a great day out on the windows on the world. Its so unreal that they are gone. Bring them back!!! God bless America

I’ve always thought they should simply rebuild the towers for several reasons. One, they were beautiful and iconic buildings. Two, it would be a massive boost to New York’s tourist economy. Lots of people would return to NY just to see them again, I as a Britsh person who has only been abroad once in my life (NYC April 2009!), would book a plane instantly tomorrow just to go back and see them alone! Thirdly, it would be a great message to terrorism, telling terrorists they will never win, no matter what buildings they destroy. Rebuild the towers, make New York New York again!!!

New York would never be the same again without those titanic magnificent towers rebuilt again. This is the only restoration of New York image and reputation. This is the best revenge that Americans can do to humiliate terrorists and honor those who paid their lives in that site. New towers that are identical to the ones attacked would be the best memorial and best symbol of a nation that never dies. That’s what I call reincarnation.
I’m from Australia and I consider those towers to be a majestic salute not just to the power and liberty of America, but to the power, freedom and harmony of western world democracy. Living in a country which is one of America’s closest friends, not rebuilding those towers would reflect a weakness in both the power of democracy and our alliance. I personally like the design of the freedom tower as it could provide a more modern outlook to the skyline, but I believe that the rebirth of America, New York and the Western world is not possible without the symbolic rise of two towers.

Ever since I was a little kid, I have been fascinated by the USA. That dark day almost 10 years ago made me shiver. Even nowadays, this day is burned in my memory. Every time I visit Ground Zero, I get sad and a tear pops to my eyes. However, my love for the country gets stronger and stronger and I am sorry I haven’t been there before the attacks. Because, I have the feeling of never being able to see the real New York, without the Towers.

I have not, and sadly nor will ever, look upon the old Twin Towers with my own eyes. I have never been to New York, but the abstraction I know only from TV shows and movies is only complete with those two buildings. Like others have said, New York without the Twin Towers is just not the same. If they are rebuilt, it will send a message of defiance to terrorsts, that we refuse to let an iconic skyline be cut down. The opportunity still exists to halt construction of the Freedom Tower at its present height and rebuild the Twin Towers alongside it. We must garner more public support for this.

I think Twin Towers MUST be rebuilt! First of all, they were one of the most popular symbols of the United States (like the US Capitol or the White House). They were grand, colossal, impressing, imagination-blowing buildings. Libeskind’s plan is pathetic – it’s nothing. That would fly somewhere in Europe, but not in the US. America has it’s own culture, it’s own architecture, so building European skyscraper in New York City is wrong. Put them back! Put Twin Towers back! Good luck, guys! I hope you’ll make it!
I honestly believe that there would be nothing better than for the people of New York and America than to rebuild the twin towers. Not only were they a big part of America but also a big part of the world. The name I believe is the WORLD Trade Center and because of how many innocent people lost their lives on that tragic day, it would only be right to honor them by rebuilding those monumental figures that everyone loved instead of replacing them. Once you lose a loved one they cannot be replaced, which many of us learned that day. The closest we can come to doing so is by doing the right thing and restoring those towers.
There a wonderful images and memories of my parents and family visiting the wtc back in 2000. It was my dream to one day be able to see them. Please rebuild these magnificant structures. I love them.

I’ve been to the site twice since 2001. I have my memories. In 50 years time, people need to see that America, and the world, did not bow to terrorism and extremism. Hi i wish these two beautiful towers to be re-erected to heal the skyline of New York and to show you cannot keep a good thing down.The towers were as important as the statue of liberty and identified the city by appearance alone.. when some one says the words “New York” i have always through my life immediately thought of those landmarks.. Twin towers and the Statue of Liberty. When i was young (im 36 yrs old now) as a child and budding artist of drawing… i used to love drawing cityscapes from my mind… most would be made up fantasy drawings but i ALWAYS included the twin towers in every drawing, it was my trade mark so to say. All my life i wanted to visit NY and go to the top of the WTC.. I wish to still do that.. So get them towers built.
Building those Towers again would I think put hearts at ease, what they are building now does look nice, but it shouldn’t be related to the original World Trade Center at all, even though its where the Towers were. Even if they put the Towers somewhere else in New York, it means that they are still there for everyone to look at, work at, or even go to the Observation Deck. I’m not an American, but we all feel the same about this.
As a little girl, i’ve always dreamed to visit New York, and especially go on top of the twin towers (my favorite skycrapers ever on every poster or movie.) Years and years later, i finally had the opportunity to visit this wonderful city and felt in love with it. When i went to visit ground zero, i couldn’t feel nothing but sadness seeing this empty space, and what it was about to become. I respect the Freedom tower and its architects, but it doesn’t fit New York. It’s more a Dubai or Shanghai like building, and doesn’t have this ”Manhattan’ atmosphere the twin towers had. I don’t lose hope that maybe someday they can be rebuilt, so i finally can get on top of them and live one of my childhood dreams.
I never got to see the stunning towers. Absolutely breath-taking they were. But then terrorists destroyed them. I’m becoming sick and mad because of 9/11, in the morning I need to hurl and at night I need to cry for the people who died and their families. The fact that the most beautiful towers have gone, makes it even worse.
I say: fix the hole in NYC and the hole in our hearts, don’t pierce it further with the new WTC. I was 16 when 9/11 happened, I am now 26 and its horrible to think a whole decade has slipped by with the absence of the towers. My dad used to live in New York and regularly go inside the WTC for his job. I think the new design is a shocking disgrace. It just doesn’t look right. It would give people so much sense of hope if the towers were to return. Ever since they collapsed the world has also been collapsing a little bit each year as well. Everyone around the world has been losing hope in the future and I believe this all began at 9/11. Bring back the twin towers and bring back hope to the world that things can be good again!

That “curse” wasn’t put on the people by Al Qaeda, but by some very powerful people in politics and the media who want the people to think of the Towers as old and the desire to see them again as unattainable. The Memorial in no way interferes with new Twin Towers, which would be much more impressive than what they are building now and people instinctively know that. But the knowledge of a robust effort to make it happen has been kept from the people, who would mobilize if they knew the truth. That’s a sad way to respond to our national tragedy.

I`ve never been to New York, but I often saw the World Trade Center on pictures, in TV and from travel reports and I realized that it was the heart of New York together with the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Building.

I never got to see the stunning towers. Absolutely breath-taking they were. But then terrorists destroyed them. I’m becoming sick and mad because of 9/11, in the morning I need to hurl and at night I need to cry for the people who died and their families. The fact that the most beautiful towers have gone, makes it even worse.
I say: fix the hole in NYC and the hole in our hearts, don’t pierce it further with the new WTC. Show the terrorists that America and its allies will not be beaten and will not be changed, we shall not flinch at what they throw at us, we shall stand tall as the Twin Towers once did, we are free and we don’t need Freedom tower to show us that. Rebuild WTC 1 & 2 just as they were but stronger. Thank you for reading
I was 16 when 9/11 happened, I am now 26 and its horrible to think a whole decade has slipped by with the absence of the towers. My dad used to live in New York and regularly go inside the WTC for his job. I think the new design is a shocking disgrace. It just doesn’t look right. It would give people so much sense of hope if the towers were to return. Ever since they collapsed the world has also been collapsing a little bit each year as well. Everyone around the world has been losing hope in the future and I believe this all began at 9/11. Bring back the twin towers and bring back hope to the world that things can be good again!
Defiantly rebuild the towers!! Haven’t been to NY yet but will soon and even sooner if they rebuild! It looks friken amazing and to see new Twin Towers would be epic!!!! REBUILD!!!

The New York City Marathon.
I looked to the left of me and saw the heart and soul of America.
The Stars and Stripes on the bridge,The Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Centre.
My journey was 26.2 miles that day.
Let’s rebuild and continue America’s journey.
I hoooppppe the Towers get rebuilt. It would be the best statement to make and to bring back the most beautiful skyline in the world. Just give the people what they obviously want and that is not that disgusting looking freedom tower. It doesent fit in with the other buildings and just looks retarded and as for those dumb looking toilet things that are the old Towers footprints.. COME ON NY!!!
My name is Dean. I never made a visit to the World Trade Center, though I wish I had, but I will help TTA bring back what I think made New York a better place: The Twin Towers. They may be rebuilding the WTC, but leaving the Twin Towers out of the picture. If I were them, I’d rebuild those 2 buildings right away. On post 9/11, Al Qaeda left behind not only tragedy and depression in Manhattan, but they also put a curse on the people of NY making them think the Twin Towers are rubbish. I’m glad I’m not the only person who wants to help rebuild the buildings. TTA, I know there is still hope, but we have to hurry. That “curse” wasn’t put on the people by Al Qaeda, but by some very powerful people in politics and the media who want the people to think of the Towers as old and the desire to see them again as unattainable. The Memorial in no way interferes with new Twin Towers, which would be much more impressive than what they are building now and people instinctively know that. But the knowledge of a robust effort to make it happen has been kept from the people, who would mobilize if they knew the truth. That’s a sad way to respond to our national tragedy.
The USA is dead it has no heart anymore. Obama has to give America its heart back and rebuild the twin towers. Make them look exactly like the old ones but with more modern and stronger structure. Obama you know you can do it and you know its what your country wants. So for once do something for your country and do something that is right. You owe it to the American people and to the world to rebuild them. Terrorism will never win and this will be the perfect symbol to prove it. I`ve never been to New York, but I often saw the World Trade Center on pictures, in TV and from travel reports and I realized that it was the heart of New York together with the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Empire State Building.
It s wonderful that an organisation like Yours exists to rebuild the WTC.
If you don`t rebuild the most gorgeous building in New York (The Twin Towers)the terrorists will have won because they achieved to destroy the skyline of New York!
The whole World owes it to all the victims of 9/11 to do everything possible to realize the plan to rebuild the Twin Towers. The new Twin Towers will be a sign to show that the terrorists will never destroy a free people!

Please rebuild the towers. The only other acceptable option would be a park. A modern contruction will be outdatted within 5 years, real eyesore. The fact that the original plans are still available will save a lot of money and we know for sure the project will look perfect once acheived.
Go for the Towers, we miss them.
