I’ve seen the WTC when I was very young, on a trip to NY City back in the 90’s. I remember the Twin Towers very well. The “Top of the World†was by far, the most amazing observation deck in the world, and the Manhattan skyline with the Twins…well…that was just THE greatest and THE most powerful symbol of America. I still can’t understand why the US didn’t rebuild the Towers just like they were, only stronger. It’s not about a skyscraper. It’s about a symbol. And when a symbol of your country is destroyed like that, there’s only one way to go: bring those responsible to justice, remember the victims on a timeless memorial, and REBUILD your symbol back. Replace the Twins for any other building it’s just not right.
I was 7 when that happened on September, 11. It was a real tragedy, horror. But we all know New York, the best city to go to, like it was, with this special architecture of WTC, Empire State, Chrysler and so on. Those new buildings with the new look just can’t fit in New York, and they are ugly to be honest. New York is not New York without his buildings, rebuild the old WTC.
I <3 skyscrapers, and the Twin Towers were and still are my all time favourite. They were just big shiny rectangles, so they should have been boring, but were so elegant, progressive and stylish instead. I agree with Trump’s idea to build two slightly taller Twins with larger, sexier windows.

I would love to see the Twin Towers restored in America. To me, they WERE America. They defined it and stood out as a symbol. They MUST be rebuilt in place of 2 and 3 World Trade Center. It is owed to all those affected by 9/11.
I would love to see the twins back in the NY Skyline. However i think that it is to late as 1 WTC is already completed, unless they build two freedom towers?

To have these back in the New York skyline would do the families and friends of the poor 3000 people, so much justice. I think we should rebuild the twin towers, but I´m not too according to the Twin Towers II project I believe that we must rebuild exactly like the originals except that these new towers have to be much safer than before They must have a different interior structure more safer than the originals, they should have more fire stairs than the originals because what matters most is the safety of those working within, and the usable office space isn´t the most important Also my new Twin Towers would include a memorial museum on the first floors In my opinion they should also rebuild the other five buildings exactly the same as originals but with more safer and more modern structures, the Austin Tobin square must also be rebuilt I really liked t
I watched 9/11 from start to finish and felt such a deep despair at what I was seeing. The evil that people do to each other on a daily basis was immortalised on this day. But to let the twin towers stay down is a victory to terrorists all over the world. They see the new tower standing alone and are reminded of what they did. People all over the world became family that day and we all have such a love for New Yorkers in particular. Rebuild the twin towers. This is like spitting in the terrorists face. Without the original look of the Twin Towers New York will never be the same as it once was. I don’t like the Freedom tower. It looks like any other skyscraper in Hong Kong or smth. It’s not authentical and unique as New York deserves. The beauty of the Twin Towers lies in their simplicity. As a kid I collected hundreds of post cards of New York because of the Twin Towers admiration, now when I look at New York skyline it’s definitely the same with Hong Kong skyline, or Beijing skyline, or some other Asian skyline. Unfortunately, the terrorists succeeded not only for America to lose 3000 lives on that day, but also for New York to look like an Asian city. It doesn’t have that American proud look anymore, and I’m so sad about it. 🙁

Every time I think of New York, I think of the twin towers. I want them rebuilt again because it feels as if there is a big hole in my heart after the twin towers disappeared on 11 September 2001 and I want the town in my heart to get his face again.
The Twin Towers were a representation of America’s world power, not only because of their colossal stance but also because of its economic strength. New York built not one but two giant landmarks where 50 thousand Americans went to work every day! This differentiated those towers from anything else that this world has built giving it a distinctive overpowering image to everyone and anyone who had the privilege to either work there or to see them in person.
Rebuild what made Americans proud and strong enough to innovate, dominate and succeed in all aspects of the world economy which made America the top super power up until the fall of those towers.
The whole world was knocked out on 9/11-2001. And our world is still bleeding. We will never recover from this wound until the exact Twin Towers are rebuilt. They symbolized something so important none could even imagine. A symbol for indestructibilty, our beliefs, a strong Western World.
We still don’t know who took the towers down. But whoever did it, i’m sure they didn’t know what impact it would do for the future generations.
This isn’t about New York only. This is about the whole world.
And people, I’m telling you, the only way for this world to heal is to rebuild the Twin Towers.

We simply need those towers back. The one world trade center tower can still stand but the twins were a landmark. Now i’m from Denmark but i hate the Bjarke Ingels design. In my mind we have two options. Rebuild the Original Twin Towers or build an identical twin of the One world trade center tower.
I may not be an American citizen, but that won’t stop me from supporting such a great country. I am all in favour of rebuilding the Twin Towers. Best way to make this happen is rebuild them instead of the proposed Buildings 2 and 3. What better way to show how America has healed from such a tragic day by rebuilding the Twin Towers.
