I love NYC from my childhood! I have watched so many movies, which were made in 80s-90s – and I always loved the Twin Towers in that countless numbers of movies! And one of my biggest dreams was to grow up and go to NYC to see it for real! But, unfortunately, I didn’t make it, because of I was only eleven years old when WTC twins collapsed! And now, when I am 25 years old, I finally made it to go to NYC! But it ain’t “that” city for 100 percent which I loved from my childhood! So! I really want them to be rebuilt! And when I will come back to NYC, I can see this great buildings in the NYC skyline! I don’t know is it possible to do it with Freedom Tower was built, but I hope that some one will work it out and make dream comes true!

The Twin Towers at the World Trade Center were some of the most significant and recognized landmarks in the world. They represented way more than just two skyscrapers. They also stranded for the American prosperity and power and American way of living. Those are not something could easily be gone with the buildings. We should bring the buildings back. Along with those, are all of the things above, and stronger.
In my opinion, the main reason to rebuilt the Twin Towers is purely ethical. The leaders of 9/11 tragedy are now satisfied, as they think that by destroying them they managed to terrorize Americans. But no. Americans should get over 9/11 (not forget it) and demand from their government to rebuilt them, because in this way they wil show terrorists that they even such a major hit, won’t frighten them. The Twin Towers II should look exactly like the previous ones (to show that 9/11 didn’t have impacts of fear on the U.S), be built with stronger materials (in order to resist any attack) and become some floors higher (to show that America is now even stronger than before).
New York’s skyline will be renewed but at the same moment not changed
I have been following the events of 9/11 and the rebuilding effort over the years and it pains me to think that these 2 beautiful towers were not even considered when polling showed over 90% of people not just in America but around the world wanted the Twin Towers rebuilt. Despite the new Trade Center being mostly rebuilt already I still hold out hope that one day I may visit New York and my dream that the twins will be there bigger and better than before can be realised. It is what the American people and the people of all the free world deserve to see, to show those scumbag terrorists that we will not let you have the satisfaction of ruining our livelihoods.
I had loved (and still love) the Twin Towers since the first time I saw them, on a poster, when I was a 5 yo child.
I always thought that the view from Brooklyn Bridge, with the towers rising up, was the most powerful, evocative, recognizable urban landscape of the world. Also romantic along with Eiffel Tower from Trocadero and the city of Florence from Belvedere. A TRADEMARK.
I was obviously shocked on 9/11 but equally disappointed when Bloomberg, Pataki, PA and Silverstein Properties decided to not consider at least the “idea of a twin”.
NY always changes but in this case the decision of changing was wrong as we needed something that would have shown REBIRTH: new TWIN TOWERS.
PS- Charging people for paying tribute is also disgusting.
I do not think that the freedom tower is an ugly building but it doesn’t match in the ny skyline for me it looks more it belongs in a city like Toronto. But i absolutely hate the other new buildings in the area like the proposed 2 WTC ugh. For a long time i have wanted to visit the twins but i never got the chance. So i want the towers to be rebuilt tho it’s beginning to get late now… But maybe we should build the Twin Towers 2 in another area in New York??
Hi my English is bad but i went to Manhattan when i was 12 with my family and we we’re watching many famous thing like empire state, times square and 5th avenue but one thing i think is mystery was I saw the 2 enormous pool close to one world trade center and when my father saw that his face was sad because he lost his best friend in the twin towers and I went to memorial 9.11 and he was right the tragedy happened in 9.11. My father was in the twin towers. He said he was in the Fuji bank in south tower and when he felt the crash to north tower hit with something. Fortunately my father felt danger so he succeed to escape. Now one world trade center is build but this not make satisfied for new york families. So twin towers need be rebuild. I love your project. I will love to see the twin towers again.
i was 13 years old when the Twins got attacked, i saw it on TV, i don’t know what to feel and i can hardly remember the exact word that comes in my mind..but it made me sad..i gathered newspaper clips of the WTC, twintowers and the attack certainly..i was aware of such chaos at that time..and now i just turned 28 and i still feel that emptiness everytime i see USA images w/out the Twins..heartbreaking..many Filipino sympathized to what happened and we feel very sorry to the people who died that day..our condolences and RIP..I’ve watched youtube videos of 9/11 attack..raw videos, videos of..every angle..and watching that plane crash into the twins is really haunting..all the emotions i’ve felt..i don’t know why..but it’s really disti

I’m signing in the hope WTC’s original buildings will replace the current ones, but safer and modern inside and the wonderful fountain’ sphere restored. I’m imagining an underground street below the site too. However i lost any hope to see the towers in their place once again but i trust you.

Some immigrants came in New York based on nothing but a postcard they had seen — a photo with that distinctive Manhattan skyline. To me, a French citizen, New York always has been the Twin Towers. This distinctive, tough, violent shape, was indeed how America seemed to us. Powerful. Mighty. But also beautiful.

As a Norwegian/American living in Norway who has never been to NYC, I was sorely saddened when the towers fell. And now I’m hopeful that they will be rebuilt once again restoring greatness to lower Manhattan once again. The current skyline is not the same and not impressive whatsoever anymore. The original WTC 1 & 2 were amazing in every way possible and there were two of them! Even though One World is there, we can just build the Twins even higher! And not in glass! Let’s build them back! Yeah!

Twin towers were such a treasure to the New York and to the USA. I think that they made a mistake for building a new “better” WTC, instead of just rebuilding the old ones. Oh, they we’re so beautiful, and so magnificent!
The Twin Towers were a symbol of NY architecture, freedom, and economic power. They were amazing in every possible way! I visited them as a kid and would love to see them again. With the rebuild of the Twin Towers based on Donald Trump’s proposal back in 2005, greatness will be restored in Lower Manhattan. New York deserves to have the Twin Towers back, and so does the rest of the world.

Because that’s what we did when the bell tower in Piazza San Marco was destroyed: we rebuilt it brick by brick, and now thousands of people – tourists and Venetians – can admire it in its rightful place every day.
That’s what we did when WWII destroyed Palermo, Catania, Siracuse and Naples. We rebuilt most of the landmarks, with our bare hands (and some help from our American friends, of course).
A lifelong dream of mine is to visit NYC.
And in my dream, when I come, there’s the Towers…
I would love to see the towers back on New York’s skyline. Maby next to one world trade center. So rebuild them please.
