The absolute best memorial to the fallen heros is the rebuilding of the Twin Towers. The Twin Towers are the perfect demonstration of steadfastness.
An over-the-top different design is just a provocation for more attacks.
The Fraud-em Tower is not a bad name, but I would think of it more as the “Osama Bin Laden Center” or “Al Qaeda Plaza” and a monument to terrorism that exists but for his “greatness”. I have absolutely no doubt that it would truly be the world’s safest building from terrorism because its mere existence would serve as an inspiration to terrorists the world over that they too can pull off death and destruction and have a huge skyscraper built just for them.
The most resolute gesture we can make is to rebuild the beloved Twin Towers exactly as they were…with improvements regarding structure and safety systems, of course. I say, BUILD THOSE BABIES BACK TO THE SKY!!!!!
This shouldn’t even be discussed. It should just have been done. The fact that we’re even discussing this is sad sign of the times we live in. In any other period of American history, they would have immediately started rebuilding them. I can only hope your efforts are successful. Good luck!
I check news articles often to see if and when the powers that be will come to their senses and rebuild the towers as they were and as they should be to make a statement not only for the New York skyline, but to those throughout the world who would seek to harm America in the future.
After watching the events during the morning of September 11th, in particular the fall of the Twin Towers, my immediate thought afterwards was to rebuild the towers. I know such a thought was not prudent to the families of the deceased particularly at that time, and perhaps not to some of them now, but I believe it is vital for the people of New York City and for the people of this nation to see the towers rise again… even higher than before!

Why not put the towers back exactly like they were?

Build the new WTC towers similar to the old ones… with one difference… and extra floor.
Personally, I think they should be rebuilt just the way they were (using modern technology) as a matter of principle.
