  1. No greater homage or tribute can be paid to our fellow fallen americans, than the rebuilding and resurection of what the twin towers stood for. Not only for America, but for all those who called it home and for all the families who called it our bread, the towers must go up to show the world and the families of 911, that here again stands a symbol, a symbol of the spirit of America, a symbol which will prove again that America too as well as its citizens will not stay down in the face of adversit

  2. We must do whatever is needed to make sure that the World Trade Center rises once again.

I remembered thinking in September 2001, where would we be in September 2006, would the pain be less? Would we have already rebuilt? and here it has come and gone, 5 years, and it still feels as it was yesterday. Anything but a new World Trade Center would be admitting defeat.

  3. Please rebuild the Twin Towers, I miss them so much. I feel that nothing would be more effective as a memorial that a huge memorial in the lobby of both the towers. By making a small, low tone, memorial we are showing weakness in the eyes of the terrorists. I wish so much that more people felt like I do, again, please rebuild the twin towers, its what is right.

  6. I’m sorry for the families and not a day goes by that I don’t think about the ones who lost their lives that horrible day. I never thought I would live long enough to see an attack on U.S. soil, but I was so wrong. My American flag is proudly displayed every single day of the year.

  7. We are Americans, the strongest in the world. We get knocked down, we get back up. The Towers were American, they got knocked down, why are we debating on putting them back up???? There should be no question about it. We need to show terrorist that we will stand again along with OUR Towers!!!!!!!!

  8. The Twin Towers were an American symbol. Rebuilding them will fill in the hole 9/11 left. Rebuilding them will show America’s strength and looked towards the future. The Freedom towers is a step back. It dwells on 9/11 as it cowers down from the mighty Twin Towers.

  9. We need to build new towers taller than any other structure in the world.
We need to send the world a message we not be intimidated by those that would destroy our freedom and way of life.

  10. The message we send needs to be clear: We are not afraid. When you deny the terrorists terror, than the only thing they have is their radical ideolodgy.

  11. We must pray to become worthy of their sacrifice. We must remember them. We must avenge their murders through total, complete, utter VICTORY !
But, there can be no victory if there is no historical context, no cultural memory of why we are fighting Islamofascists, and without victory there can be no peace.
One mark of the totalitarian psyche is the need to air-brush historical contexts. We must not allow that to happen to 9/11/2001 and The Twin Towers.

  12. Although the final decision belongs by rights to the people of New York City, as a native of the state & relative of City residents, I feel a kinship with the City. To restore it to its former appearance is the ultimate act of confidence & pride. We are fine as we are. To restore the towers would also be an exquisite memorial to those who died in their fall. Their sheer physical dominance of the sky would assure that the tragedy & courage of that day will never be forgotten.

  13. Let’s rebuild the twin towers to show our nation and the world we will not back down. New York City will not be the same without them. God Bless America!

  14. this alliance has got to be the absoulute BEST idea ever. I would like it more than anything to see once again the twin towers gleaming in the reflection of the water, standing tall and proud in New York. And i would also like to see the looks on terrorist faces when they see them, and know they cant bring them down! i want to join very much. God bless the souls that were lost on 9/11/2001

  15. I want to live in an America that says, “We are going to build the tallest tower in the world. Hell, let’s build two!” This was the America of 40 years ago. Have we lost this kind of spirit? I think not.

  16. Anything less than a total rebuild o fthe towers is admitting defeat. The new towers should be bigger, better, taller, and represent the resilience of the american people and their beliefs.

  17. I know that I am not alone when I say that I miss those glorious towers. I am sad everytime I drive down the NJ Turnpike or into NYC. Manhattan Island is just not the same without those towers.

Rebuild them the same as before.

  18. The NEW Towers would fit into the adjacent spaces next to where the old Towers once stood. That way we could utilize the same space and include the memorials on the space the old Towers stood. Build the new Towers and show the world that America will not be terrorized, America will rebuild the Towers and lower Manhattan will once again be home to the great symbols of American ingenuity and now America’s Resolve.

  19. Although I am not from New York as a young child I visited the World Trade Center and the Twin Towers,it was the most awe inspiring sight i have ever saw. I wish the city of New York would rebuild the Twin Towers as they were, just taller and stronger. For me that would be the greatest FU to the sub-humans that brought them down. Thank you,for the chance to voice my thought and idea.
