I like everyone else want to see a great memorial to the victims of 9/11. What ever it takes to make that happenI will honor.Build the twin towers the way they were.Make the memory last. I support what ever you chose to do.
Right from the start, it’s always been my sentiment to rebuild the towers. Aside from any structural improvements, they should rise again in all their former magnificence and presence. Anything else will convey weakness on our part.
Rebuild the towers as before, tell the whole world we will not be deminished in any way. Our spirit and determination is stronger now than before 9/11.
SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE, AMERICA’S STRENGTH IS RELENTLESS!!!
I live in Georgia. In 1999 I visited cousins in Brooklyn for the 1st time. The towers were visible from their windows. An old friend took a day off to join me on the plaza. We took the tour of the rooftop, and later took photos of lower Manhattan from Liberty Island. We said goodbye at the subway under the towers as he headed back to New Jersey. Rebuilding the towers as they were, sends a clear message that America–and New York–will never tolerate acts of terrorism on our soil. Thank you.
I believe that the best way for our nation to heal – is to rebuild the towers that hate brought down. The terriost hate everything about America, we need to be stronger than we were that day and build the towers back in the memory of all those that were lost that day. Everyone that went into those buildings, loved them and felt so proud to have been a part of them. I truly hope that the buildings are built back.
I have heard no one who prefers the short, ugly buildings currently proposed. As a citizen of Oklahoma, I know what it is like to have a terrorist-attacked tower replaced by a useless, silly-looking outdoor memorial (with utmost respect to the Murrah building victims). Please, rebuild… one floor taller. The impact floors on each tower could be made into memorials, one educating and one solemn. Make me want to visit them, as I didn’t get to do before their destruction. 09 September 2006
I most assuredly support no other action thank rebuilding the Twin Towers as they were before. I cannot tell you how simple movies like “Godzilla” and “Independence Day” move me whenever I see the Towers in them.
They were and are an essential piece of New York City, and no American will feel truly whole with out them.
Never in the history of this nation have we surrendered to another nation or enemy ON OUR SOIL! If the World Trade Center towers are not rebuilt, that is what we’d be doing, just as Spain caved to terrorists after the 3/11 train bombings.
Just add a Phalanx Close In Weapon System on the east and west corners of both buildings.
Make each lobby in the North and South towers a memorial for the people killed in the original of each tower. Aircrew, passengers, workers, and the Bravest and Finest. We must deny our enemies any victory.
make this into a spot that will be useful but will be memorable to everyone who lost a loved one close to there heart in the 9/11 attack on the twin towers
Why would you build anything else?????????????????
Re-build the towers the way they were out of RESPECT for all those who gave their lives FOR YOU!!!!!!!
I know I have three names (like you-know-who, HRC) but, believe me, that’s the ONLY thing we have in common! At first I didn’t know if rebuilding the Towers was the right thing to do but time has passed and now I do! What a magnificent sight they would be NOW! What a grand statement! How soothing and beautiful! With all the political NONSENSE going on about the site, and all the absurd designs (and I’m a designer), this would just shut everyone up.
New York City just isn’t New York City without the “twin towers.” Please put them back in their original form and make NYC and the rest of the country “whole” again! Let’s show the world that despite the tragedy that was unleashed upon us, we have the resolve to unite and withstand any and all transgressions against us. Let us send that message loud and clear!!!
New York City will never be the same without the Twin Towers. To make the biggest statement to the rest of the world would be to rebuild as they were. In Tulsa, my birth city, we have the BOK tower, designed by the same architect who designed the Twin Towers. Please rebuild New York City’s skyline.
I wished everyone can help rebuild the twin towers …. all needs to help just not what people they are … i just wish it would not have happen to the usa and it did … it is still sad to this day about what happen and my kids will know what happen on step 11 2001 and all others taht does not know needs t know .. it was just wrong for those people to do that and i hope one day they will be stoped and all they do to others
twin towers should be rebuilt as the same or better, america deserves only the very best for the new york skyline. anything less is a mockery to 9-11 & those that perished. may god bless america!!
Healing and closure begin when we fill the void in our skyline and our hearts with the restoration of one of the great symbols of this country, and memorialize and honor all who gave their lives on that fateful day.
my father taught me that when knocked down, you stand up and confront your aggressor. Let’s confront our aggressor by rebuilding the twin towers…
Let’s not let AMERICA down!!!

I have always believed in rebuilding the Twin Towers adjacent to their original footprints.

I saw the towers come down when I was 14. and since then I’ve seen the empty NY skyline as absolutely shameful.
I most assuredly support no other action thank rebuilding the Twin Towers as they were before. I cannot tell you how simple movies like “Godzilla” and “Independence Day” move me whenever I see the Towers in them.

I can think of no better way to show the world that while we may get knocked down, we will always get back up again.
I say to rebuild it back the way it was!!
We need to rebuild, giving us strength to move forward.

Doing anything other than rebuilding the towers would be a crime.
I think we NEED to rebuild The Towers! If it were up to me, I’d add another 10 floors!!!!
Rebuild the towers, anything else signifies defeat.

Give us back our towers and build them even higher. Show the world that we can and will overcome.
Stand up, America.
Rebuild the towers, bigger and higher.
We must rebuild WTC like it was
We’re rebuilding New Orleans. Why not rebuild the towers?
Build the towers back the way they were, but one story taller and the facade in shimmering white or silver. Let the terrorists know they failed.
Rebuild it is the only correct thing to do.
New York needs the Twin Towers they must be rebuilt,
rebuilt in the same form, like the Trump plan.
If Athens, Greece was rebuilt sevral times why cant the
Twin Towers be rebuilt. Stop the bureaucracy and rebuild!
Put ’em back!!!
i think they should rebuilt to help all of us heal from what happened ……. i was raised there when i was young and i miss see the twin towers…….
