  1. I remember my last trip prior to 9/11 vividly. We discussed going to the WTC, something I had never done before, but decided “we’ll do it next time.” Sadly, my next trip was in November, 2001.

Nothing would please me more than to see them rebuilt, looking exactly as they did before. It would be a cause for celebration and slap in the face of our enemies! This Texan knows New Yorkers can do anything they set their minds to and they have my support. I love NY and the Twin Towers!!

  2. Rebuild the towers, don’t let the b_____ds win! Why give them the satisfaction of knowing that they can dictate the skyline of our cities?

  3. It breaks my heart to see our skyline so empty when need to rebuild our tours , they are the heart of new york , and it show that we can over come anything .

  4. Allowing terrorists to alter the NYC skyline is a tragic mistake. Rebuild the towers, add a memorial and return the world’s greatest skyline to what it was on September 10th , 2001 to show any who would dare think they have the power to do so through terrorism they are wrong and cannot–and will never–succeed.

  5. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and I could see the towers from where I lived. Let’s put them back for the people of America and also to send a message to those against our way of life that we are not afraid.

  6. Anyone remember the old websites of WTC?
Maybe a reminder of who and what was there
by the people who created the websites would
bring back memories of how proud these twin buildings
    were to the city.
In an effort to memorialize the old WTC, I collected most of the webpages from archives.
    Hope this helps.

  7. I am a native new yorker and want the city back the way that it was. Glamorous and stylish with the Twin Towers gleeming again! Screw those terrorists, this is America isn’t it!?!?

  8. REbuilding the twin towers would be a better stand then to build a monument…but two towers with a memorial would be something great.

  9. Let’s not cringe and say, “what if they attack again?” Let’s stick it in their faces with new twin towers — even bigger and better than before.

  10. Rebuilding the Twin Towers seems to me to be the best “in your face” of which I can possibly think.

I have only been to New York once in my life and fortunately for me it was December 26, 1998. I saw the Twin Towers and then The Radio City Rockets that day. To this day I do not know which was the most inspiring.

  11. Rebuilding the Towers is the best way to show our enemies that, despite the destruction of 9/11, they’ve accomplished nothing. Bring ’em back!
