  1. I said it within days of 9/11 – They should rebuild the towers EXACTLY the way they looked pre 9/11. What better way can we show the resiliency of the American spirit by saying – terrorists can do what they want but we’ll put them right back. F— you bin Laden!

  2. This so called “Freedom tower” will be a symbol of defeat, if it gets built the terrorists have won. REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!

  3. Please rebulid “The real World Trade Center.” NYC is not the same without it. As for the Freedom Tower and all its other buildings, find a new construction site for them, cuz Manhattan sure ain’t the place for them.

  4. Although I’ve never been to NYC and saw the WTC as it stood, I’ve come to associate NYC with those magnificent twin towers shining like a beacon over the city skyline. I like the idea of seeing the new concept of twin towers rather than what has been proposed – “The Freedom Tower?” I’ve seen those concept drawings and I just don’t think it’s an attractive building or the right way to go with redeveloping that site. So, come on people, let’s get twin towers built on that site again already.

  5. REBUILD! Only the re-erection of the Twin Towers will bring healing and be a shout of: Yes we can! You could not beat us!

  6. Please rebuild them but this time with better support. So if this ever happens again there will be time for most People to get OUT. Next put little water fountains on top of the ceilings so if there’s a fire it will detect it and hopefully will put out the fire and the bars won’t melt and no buildings will fall. I Loved These Towers So Much.

    REBUILD REBUILD REBUILD. 🙂

  7. I have watched the New York governor ruin a perfectly good design by Daniel Libeskind. Now the tower is seen by world citizens and Americans as the “Fear Tower” with its block-like bottom, what a disgrace. And the first six designs were pitiful. I am a citizen of greater Los Angeles and I say REBUILD. It is pathetic that there is so little done after 8 years. It’s time for the taxpayers to get what they want, towers that will sell. Scrap that Freedom Tower, it’s crap.

  8. I am a resedent of PA but as a child I grew up twenty miles away from DC for eight years. Almost on a weekly basis getting to see the Capitol, Washington Monument, and every thing in downtown DC that I thought represented America. Until June of 1998 when Ii got a chance to spend a weekend in New York City. From the moment I crossed the George Washington Bridge my eyes were fixed on one part of the New York skyline and that was the TWIN TOWERS. I knew I had reached AMERICA! Bring them back to all of us!

  9. The botched attempts to redevelop the ground zero site are a disgrace. Shopping and retail space, and a “Freedom Tower” that climbs to a height not much higher than the Citigroup building won’t memorialize those who died, or bring back the spirit of New York or the property that it lost on 9/11. The Ken Gardner plan should be followed to rebuild the twin towers, bigger, better, and stronger. Imagine the message that would be sent, with each floor being topped off, that America is back.

  10. I’m only 19 years old. 9/11 is already stuck in my mind for the rest of my life. The LAST THING I want for the rest of my life is a building that I (and many others) don’t APPROVE OF.

  11. Restore the skyline. Spit in the eyes of the terrorists.

TTA Note: …instead of in the eye of the American people.

  12. I myself think its a better idea to rebuild the twin towers back and my reasons are that they make a symbol not only to america but the world also for their strength of humanity and it also makes the new york skyline. Even if the freedom tower is built something is still missing from the world trade center site. This is what the public is asking for I agree. If we rebuild the towers back hopefully we still can show our freedom and we will win. The twin towers and america will rise again.

  13. I hate the Freedom Tower! Everything it stands for is corrupt! I know mayor bloomie did the summits in secret because he knew everyone else supported the Twin Towers II. Please Please Please don’t let these few politicians get away with the biggest crime in history. Robbing the American people of a 5 star skyline and diminishing their will to nothing.

  15. I would like to see the Twin Towers built back with Freedom Tower next to them. I find that to be the best option out there.

  17. Dear Americans, if we all think about rebuilding the Twin towers is no a bad idea, because it would give more jobs to our americans, and we would put New York City back to place, the only thing that is missing is the twin towers and the fredom tower, what are they thinking it would make us americas weaker and thats something we are not, we united we stand.

United states need the twin towers back,so we can show the terorrists that we never give up.

    Thank you

  18. I agree with this video 110%!!

I am appalled that we still have a huge hole in the ground 8 years after the attack!

I watched a Penn and Teller Bull$hit episode on this! I am upset that a bunch of political yahoos are using the twin tower rebuild for some BS political agenda!

So many other people both famous and not famous say. REBUILD THOSE TOWERS EXACTLY AS THEY WERE!

The best way to give counter the evils that was done that day is to REBUILD THOSE TOWERS AND STAND PROUD AGAIN!!

  19. The twin towers should be rebuilt. They were and still are a symbol of our strength, and should they be rebuilt, it will show that we will not go down for good.

  20. I had always hoped to have a chance to go to the top of one of those towers if and when my chance came to visit NYC. That was taken away from me. Around the time that happened, while chatting on IRC with other people from other countries, they also expressed dismay, even anger, over what had happened to the towers, and expressed sentiments similar to mine…as has been said, those towers represent everything great that this nation has ever been. Rebuild!

  21. I had wanted to go to the very top of those towers ever since i was in kindergarden and to know that the supposed “new” World Trade Center buildings are going to look nothing like the Twin Towers and not be nearly as tall is heartbreaking and im sure others share this feeling. There are too many people opposed to that pathetic excuse for the World Trade Center the Twin Towers must be rebuilt without them the New York skyline will never be whole again please rebuild the towers and the peoples hope.
