I grew up a New Yorker and cannot remember a time that I walked past those buildings and did not have my breath taken away. I would love for my children to be able to walk past those buildings and have that same feeling.
my soulmate, the man i knew i would marry some day was killed in iraq serving our country after 4 of his close friends were killed in the towers. his name was dimitri gavriel, and his sister forwarded this mail to me. he was a securities analyst on wall street–a genius–and joined the marines to contribute something in honor of those he held so dearly. his death left ALL of those that knew him with a hole in their heart as big as the towers have left. please, do whatever you can to fill that void, to honor our country and the freedom that dimmy fought and died for.

It’s about time that we as a nation stood up and let the world, friend or foe know we will not apologize to people who hate our country and way of life and religion. This is the best way to remember our fallen citizens, they deserve this!
The skyline seems incomplete without the towers. If for whatever reason they are not rebuilt, the towers and all the people that died during 9/11 will be forever etched in history and in the hearts of the American people.
To best honor and remember the victims and heros of 911, The Twin Towers must be rebuilt as they once were. The NY City skyline is bare without them and America deserves to have them back. The Twin Towers were an important symbol of America.

Rebuild them to look like the original WTC; but better, taller – a more fitting response and memorial. God bless America.
It makes me sick that it has taken this long to rebuild the towers. Rebuild the towers the same. What greater monument to those that died there.

WE NEED TO REBUILD OUR TOWERS BACK!!!

It’s a no brainer. We must treat this as a national landmark and rebuild them. It is the best non-violent way to stick it to the terrorists.
