IN A FEW WORDS LETS STOP THINKING ABOUT THE PAST, LETS MOVE ON, THE TWIN TOWERS MUST COME BACK! BIGGER TALLER STRONGER, WE NEED TO SHOW THE ENTIRE WORLD WHO’S THE BEST, WE NEED TO BUILD A HIGH END TECHNOLOGICAL SKY SCRAPER THAT WILL ENVY THE ENTIRE WORLD. I HAVE ENOGH WITH ALL THE BLA BLA BLA GOING ON WITH GROUND “Oâ€.
I want the Twin Towers to be rebuilt. Im 12 years old and I am mad about the Freedom tower because it don’t look like the Twin Towers. It’s almost 10 years after 9/11 and their still a big hole in New York city. I want the Twin Towers back in New York’s skyline but a story taller (111 stories high) and stronger so it can withstand a large plane crash like the planes on 9/11, they were large. And thats my story.
I would love to see the towers rebuilt stronger and more beautiful if that’s possible. I NEVER got to see the towers. If we don’t rebuild it’s like saying we’re defeated.
I will always remember that beautiful, alive, arrogant, and overwhelming structure. How it changed colors and moods, moved in the wind, and was always a reference point. I would hope that the WTC2 would be built with atleast the same glory and grandeur as the original, maybe even taller. WTC was for years the tallest structure built by man, please get the point!
If the Obama administration wants to spend all this money we don’t have and force the federal government on everything, why not at least do something good with it? Take over the WTC site and use that money to rebuild the towers!
Then, once they’re rebuilt, take the criminals behind the attacks up to the roof and push them off – kill them in the same way that they killed thousands of innocent Americans. If they want to meet their dammed heathen god, I’m happy to oblige.
Is it even a *question* that the towers should be rebuilt? Come on, it’d like two huge middle fingers to terrorism as a whole. I say build them back, ON THE ORIGINAL SPOTS (not moved back several hundred feet), structurally more durable, aesthetically identical, and one story taller. Anyone who does not support rebuilding the original WTCs can get the hell out of and stay the hell out of America.
It has been my consistent belief for the past 9 years that the towers should be rebuilt, better and with the utmost respect and commemoration to 9/11.
I regret my not coming to New York City prior to 9/11 and am immeasurably glad that someone has at least taken up the gauntlet to make New York City what it once was.
By building the freedom tower complex and placing beams of light next to it, you’re in essence saying, “Look what we have now. But it’s nothing as compared to what we had.
I honestly think anything less would be a disgrace. New York is the greatest city in the world and the Twin Towers were part of that. Why anyone would not want them back is beyond me. We want them. We need them.
I say rebuild them stronger and safer. I believe it shows that us Americans are still strong after having fallen. I don’t like the new Freedom Tower. Ever since I was little, I’ve dreamed of visiting the Twin Towers before 9/11 and I still dream of it up to this day. The Freedom Tower to me is worth nothing compared to the Twin Towers.
I cant belive they are still going through with their current plans despite such public outcry that it is NOT what the people want! Evey poll shows that the people, even those who lost loved ones in the towers want them rebuilt…
The ‘Freedom Tower’ idea is nothing but a wimpy little cop out, a poor excuse for a consolation symbol of respect and remembrance, taking the chump’s easy way out, and just plain stupid. These buildings were quite simply spiritually iconic. Nothing will substitute for going all the way and replacing the Towers, and anything less will be a permanent and sad eternal mistake, thereby cheating all future generations of their majestic power and presence upon the Earth for eons to come. The End.
It’s a pretty simple decision. To me, no other decision makes sense. Put the Twin Towers back and symbolize that America is back, and better than ever.
While I support the building of Freedom Tower, I think rebuilding the Twin Towers would be a giant middle finger to the terrorists. Plus I’m too young to remember the real Twin Towers, and I really want to see thier beauty in person.
Many times in my life, I have been knocked down, yet always got up and stood taller then before. Not building the World Trade Centers back, Bigger, Stronger and Taller in my eyes is a show of defeat. I am sure that there is room for a freedom tower that can accent the New Towers. This is America, We do not Bow to other leaders, We do not surrender, and We have never been defeated in the history of this Nation. The Towers must be rebuilt. If not, then we have suffered our 1st defeat.
The terrorists thought the destruction of the twin towers would crush America & that we would never rebuild them. We’re proving them right! We’re showing our weakness as a nation by not rebuilding the twin towers taller, stronger & safer than ever. America was not asked what we wanted. If we were, almost everyone would’ve voted to rebuild the TWIN TOWERS! Honor those who lost their lives on 9/11! If I’d died on 9/11, I’d be rolling over in my grave at the sight of the freedom tower!
The current plan is the worst possible way to remember those who died on 911 and even when port authority said they are scrapping new plans to built a new version of a windows on the world type restaurant and even then when they was going to put the restaurant back they did not even call it windows on the world they called it skyline restaurant. Then they are not using the glass for the lobby on the freedom tower and even then they are not using the outdoor observation deck instead of getting rid of the stuff inside the tower can’t they get rid of the tower completly and rebuild new twin towers from ken gardners design from 2005 or even if they don’t accept that can they just put back a restaurant and call it windows on the world and pay t
We must all believe that the only way to show our resolve as a nation is to rebuild the towers just as they were, or even bigger and better. Anything less, such as a memorial shows weakness, not resolve. A memorial must be a part of the rebuilding of the towers, but they must be rebuilt! The terrorists destroyed them. If we can’t put them back in all their glory, they win. They will continue to believe that they have and can continue to destroy our might. A rebuilding of the towers would serve
I have always wanted the original Twin Towers to be rebuilt; stronger and safer than before. I, and everyone I talk to about it, want to see those towers there in their rightful place once again. And of course with a fitting and prominent memorial to all those that died there on that horrible day. We will think of them and remember them everytime any of us see or visit the New World Trade Center. The plans that I have seen look wonderful. I hope it’s not too late.
The twin towers stood for our nation’s power and confidence. Their beauty instantly became instilled in the majority of American’s hearts. We must restore them, we must restore our American confidence, we must look the terrorists in the eye and tell them “we WILL not give up, nor surrender!” Rebuilding the twin towers is a crucial first step. Please hear our voices, and give us American citizens, not only what we truly desire, but what we rightfully deserve.
May the Twin Towers rise up once again. I will never forget my first year in America and visit to New York. I started my walk in the morning, at Columbus Circle. Destination: those two legendary buildings all the way on the other side of town. Well, I made it there, went up to the observation deck, and then managed to squeeze in the last ferry to the Statue of Liberty. I will never forget.
I can’t think of anything that we do in this country that we wouldn’t at least try to restore to its original glory if taken away from us. The new “Freedom Tower” complex is a cop out.
The feds didn’t just leave a hole in the Pentagon all these years, and then decide on a whim to smooth out the edges and rename the building the “Circle,” did they? Why should this effectively be done to New York?
I cant think of a better memorial to those who lost their lives or a better statement to the world that American is a nation of fighters and are builders than two brand new majestic buildings towering over the New York skyline.
They should build the twin towers again they were the most beautiful towers in new york, the United States wont be the same with the freedom tower. I hope they do stop the freedom tower and bring back the twin towers.
When are going to take our country back? When are we going to fight and stand up for our country? By not re-building the twin towers, we have surrendered! Also think about it…Americans need more JOBS and re-building the twin towers will give people JOBS! I thought the United States is supposedly the most powerful in the world – we need to show it to them!!
I’m only 13 but I’m not uneducated on the topic of 9/11. I have researched the topic for more than 3 years and through all of the research I have dreamed of seeing the Twin Towers. With this plan that dream could become a reality! Build the Twin Towers 2 for the youth of America and for ALL of America!!
Hi, im Jonathan, Im currently 15 years old, and i would like it if these currupt people stop taking our tax dollars to build a building that America doesnt want.I remember 9/11 on tv.I was in the second row watching the tv in the Library when on the tv, the WTC was on fire. And this was before the second plane hit. Then my mom picked me up from school after leaving Delta Airlines. She picked me up when United 93 crashed.I was aware what was going on.2 years from now, i want to join the USMC to protect our country. And i would like it if the twin towers are rebuilt to show we have not lost.Hoorah!
I was born in 1992, and during most of my childhood I wasn’t fully aware of the existence of the Twin Towers. But deep down, it feels like I got this nostalgia for the America that had the Towers up in our lovely skyline. I remember that back in September 26, 2003 I went to New York for the first time. It was an amazing experience! It would have been even more spectacular if the good old World Trade Center was still around. And while although the Twin Towers may no longer physically be there in NYC, America should know that the are still up there in spirit. Let’s Rebuild!!! For America!!! Now!!!
We do NOT deal with terrorists and we do not bow to their whims.
The Freedom Tower design is disgusting. Rebuild the iconic Twin Towers!
IN A FEW WORDS LETS STOP THINKING ABOUT THE PAST, LETS MOVE ON, THE TWIN TOWERS MUST COME BACK! why would anyone build such an ugly tribute… rebuild the towers… show everyone our courage…

Amen… I’ve been saying this since a week after they fell. Just like Trump says: Exactly as they were, and even a little taller.
Do the right thing and rebuild the towers.
I honestly think anything less would be a disgrace. New York is the greatest city in the world and the Twin Towers were part of that. Why anyone would not want them back is beyond me. We want them. We need them.

To come together and re-build is who we are as Americans.
I think it would be more meaningful if we rebuilt it the way it was before we were attacked!!
While I support the building of Freedom Tower, I think rebuilding the Twin Towers would be a giant middle finger to the terrorists. Plus I’m too young to remember the real Twin Towers, and I really want to see thier beauty in person.

we should rebuild the world trade center we don’t want terrorists to win we need to show them that we are stronger then ever.
Let’s do it.
