Personalmente estoy en contra de la Freedom Tower, porque muestra poco sentido de originalidad, puede contener todo tipo de nueva tecnologia, seguridad y todo lo que puedan agregarle pero al lado de el WTC no hay ningun tipo de comparacion, la ciudad es mucho mas vistosa cuando estaban de pie esas dos hermosas torres, ahora la ciudad es otra, es mas rara, distinta a lo que era una decada atras.

From my point of view I see all America as New York, where the U.S. is more lighted area for its high towers and dazzling emblematic story. I personally am against the Freedom Tower, because it shows little sense of originality. It can contain all kinds of new technology, security and all they can add but next to the WTC there isn't any kind of comparison. The city was much more showy when they stood, those two beautiful towers. Now the city is like another. What it was [just over] a decade ago was more rare.

Without the original look of the Twin Towers New York will never be the same as it once was. I don't like the Freedom tower. It looks like any other skyscraper in Hong Kong or smth. It's not authentical and unique as New York deserves. The beauty of the Twin Towers lies in their simplicity. As a kid I collected hundreds of post cards of New York because of the Twin Towers admiration, now when I look at New York skyline it's definitely the same with Hong Kong skyline, or Beijing skyline, or some other Asian skyline. Unfortunately, the terrorists succeeded not only for America to lose 3000 lives on that day, but also for New York to look like an Asian city. It doesn't have that American proud look anymore, and I'm so sad about it. 🙁

Although I was only six years old at the time of their destruction, the image of the Towers has had an almost hypnotic effect on me. The Freedom Tower fails to inspire the same feeling of wonder and awe the Twin Towers did.

the new tower and upcoming surrounding structures are horrible eyesores that show the terrorists won and america is evil and greedy. reconstruction would have spit in the face of terror, and inspired america in its time of sorrow. from 2008 and onward, i have NOT been proud to be an american, because of our government making us look like weak greedy pretentious liberal douchbags.

Ever since that unfaithful day everyone who died and who ever is crying out for help. But now the Twin Towers II can be rebuild if we stay strong and get more people to sign the petition and stop the ignorance of the New York State head. People we will and all of America !!! will stop the emotional pain of people that are still hurting from 9/11/01 by rebuilding the Twin Towers II and finally the New York City Skyline will look like the original way it was.

New York and America deserves to have the original Twin Towers back as a tribute to the lives lost.

I was one when it happened but I understand. Rebuilding these towers would tell the terrorists that we will not surrendor to them. No wtc 2 and 3. Bring back our towers.

the twin towers were the nicest buildings in the world. i never saw then up close. i would have to go up them.

As an American who was only 15 when 9/11 took place, I never saw them in person because I lived in California at the time. I would love to see them again.

I was wondering since the towers were not rebuilt, is there plans to at least relocate them in New York City? If we lost the ground where they originally stood, does that make them any less important if they're still rebuilt at another place in New York City?

The TWINS need to be rebuilt. I am a builder. To NOT re-build "the twins" is offensive and rewards the terrorists. REBUILDING them defeats the terrorists and shows them who's boss !!!

While growing up, I've always viewed the Twin Towers as the tallest buildings in the world (even though they weren't, obviously). I was fascinated by them and loved them. They were certainly iconic of New York and even the US during my childhood. I think it would be proper I'd they were rebuilt instead of the current complex, which is bland and poorly planned in my opinion.

That single tower doesn't "symbolize" anything in my opinion. Except, well perhaps we ran out of money and couldn't afford to build a second tower. They should have built Twin Towers from the start!

I watched 9/11 from start to finish and felt such a deep despair at what I was seeing. The evil that people do to each other on a daily basis was immortalised on this day. But to let the twin towers stay down is a victory to terrorists all over the world. They see the new tower standing alone and are reminded of what they did. People all over the world became family that day and we all have such a love for New Yorkers in particular. Rebuild the twin towers. This is like spitting in the terrorists face. Don't give them the reminder of a "twin towerless" New York.

I think we should rebuild the twin towers, but I´m not too according to the Twin Towers II project I believe that we must rebuild exactly like the originals except that these new towers have to be much safer than before They must have a different interior structure more safer than the originals, they should have more fire stairs than the originals because what matters most is the safety of those working within, and the usable office space isn´t the most important Also my new Twin Towers would include a memorial museum on the first floors In my opinion they should also rebuild the other five buildings exactly the same as originals but with more safer and more modern structures, the Austin Tobin square must also be rebuilt I really liked t

I would love to see the towers back, where they stood, not the freedom tower. The terrorists wanted them down and didn't want us to rebuild, and that we aren't means that they won! We need the towers back, maybe not in New York City, but in America, possibly in Chicago, or even where the new 2 and 3 world trade centers are gunna go. Put the towers in those spots.

I would LOVE to see these towers rebuilt someday in NYC nearby where they originally were. If not in NYC, I would still be happy to see them in another major American city. They were simple, yet symbolic. Symbols should never be taken away or changed in my opinion.

The twin towers of New York City. Architecturally flawed but nonetheless beautiful. To have these back in the New York skyline would do the families and friends of the poor 3000 people, so much justice. To put these magnificent buildings back in the sky would be showing that the USA will never forget what happened on that tragic day all those years ago.

I pledge my support for this dream for New York and America. Why does Osama bin Laden's death matter, if the Twin Towers that he destroyed continue to remain absent in New York's skyline? If the great Pyramids in Ancient Egypt had been destroyed, I'm sure they would have been rebuilt, and we would still admire, and respect them as they are today. When the terrorists destroyed the Twin Towers, it felt like we were sent back to the stone age. We are Americans. We are proud. We are strong. That's why we should rebuild and as an American I think we need both towers and freedom.

I strongly feel that the twin towers should be built exactly how they were before. Just 10 times stronger than before. I think if they did this it shows that the terrorists don't win and apparently they did because the Manhattan skyline will never look the same and as good as it did before.

I am a New Yorker and I think the new Freedom Tower is very ugly. It is nothing at all like the original Twin Towers. Why weren't the original Twin Towers rebuilt? This Freedom Tower is so ugly and will not even have an outdoor observation deck. And if they had to build it, why not build 2 Freedom Towers the same size? The new buildings are so ugly, it is just awful. Shame on the city for selecting these buildings.

New York isn't recognizable without the twin towers. The Twin Towers played a role in the New York skyline. The city looks so empty without them. Rebuilding them would give people like me a chance to experience them.

This is a subject that's so hard for me to talk about because there's so many people who don't seem to care that if we don't build the twin towers back the terrorists win. I loved the twin towers, and they must be built back. I hope that one day this could become a reality. Those towers represented who America is, but if we don't build them back to me they represent who America was. REBUILD the iconic symbolism of America exactly like before -- but better. Not a stupid "Freedom Tower"...the REAL DEAL. The TWO (2) TWIN TOWERS, no architectural design twist, or "bomb sheltered" base nonsense revealing American vulnerability. Rather, what everyone loved - the straight up and down, vertical beauty the two towers emitted. THAT is American pride, THAT is American Capitalism, that is the healing of the ever so great New York City.

I would love to see the twins back in the NY Skyline. However i think that it is to late as 1 WTC is already completed, unless they build two freedom towers?
