I never got to see the original towers in person so I would like to see them again rebuilt. I really hope the trade center is rebuilt on the sites of buildings 2 and 3 in the freedom tower complex. Even If they cannot be built at ground zero, there are ways of building them somewhere else in the city. I suggested that they do what they did when they built Battery Park and the World Financial Center and create more land for construction. This could lead to hope for the project. Best of luck to you all and I hope they will be built to see the 20th anniversary of the attacks on that terrible morning.

I was 4 years old on 9/11. But i still remember watching my family cry as those towers came down. At that time I did not understand what was happening. But as I grew older I fell in love with the towers. They were magnificent buildings, and it makes me really sad how I never got a chance to see them in person. I think the new WTC is a joke. Typical politicians only thinking about what they want. The freedom tower and the memorial are nice, but towers 2 and 3 are hideous. We should rebuild the twin towers in their place. With both the freedom tower and the new twin towers, we would be honoring the past, and building for the future.

New York will never be New York so long as the twins are not HOME.

Take them HOME where they belong. Then we have restored our skyline and then the bruises has HEALED in everyone and our Capital of this world has once again our Guardians, our Brothers watching over us.

The Twin Towers were attacked because they symbolized the American way of life. They were the targets and not rebuilding them will leave future generations cheated and give the terrorists the last laugh. The current plan to "rebuild" the WTC accommodates the terrorists plan, and is not very popular among the people at all. I say if we are paying for this site in toll hikes we should have a say! I was in first grade when 9/11 happened. I remember sitting at my desk at school and watching the events unfold. Everyone was crying and my teacher was screaming Dear God. I plan to visit NY as soon as I can as I am 16 now. However I already feel like I am a New Yorker. Those Towers were and STILL are beautiful, even if they are just a memory now. I believe that we should rebuild our old Towers, our beautiful Towers, our BETTER Towers so that future generations can see and will know that America doesn't run, and America doesn't hide...we rebuild, become better, and stronger. They need to see where we were on 9/11 and just how far we've come. I VOTE YES ON BRINGING MINE AND THE REST OF AMERICA'S TOWERS BACK. LET'S MAKE THEM BIGGER AND BETTER.

The government should really rebuild the Twin Towers. They were (and,at least for me,they are) a great symbol of American freedom. They were beautiful buildings, the most beautiful. This is not a Democratic issue or a Republican issue...this is an AMERICAN issue. The new complex is ugly and meanless. Please rebuild the Twins.

i was a truck driver and was fortunate enough to see these towers in person it is appaling to build one new tower so much in our world is becoming this way today we dont need new we need to rebuild better and stronger this is the american way we use and throw away because something new and better comes out stop with new and use or rebuild what is it will save our country and our world as a whole why do we need something new when what we had was perfectly good!

All the heroic people who gave their lives saving the innocent on that fateful day deserve a place to finally find peace on earth.

My first impression of the New Twin Towers was WOW:).

Rebuild the twins NOW. Built them Taller, Bigger, Safer and more Mightier. Then we have restored the skyline and we have a salute to the fallen heroes and brothers of 9/11.

Born and growing up in New York as a child I've always admired the Twin Towers. Being 12 years old at the time and walking by the World Trade Center I told my mother ''WOW!!! Those two buildings are beautiful and so tall'' My mother was like ''Yeah but so is the Empire State Building'' And I responded ''Yeah I know but these 2 twin buildings are amazing''... Never in my wildest dreams would I would ever thought that the Twin Towers were gonna be struck down. I used to go to school only 2 blocks away from the Twin Towers so looking at these 2 amazing buildings became a habit for me and even I was distanced away from them. I was and am one of those New Yorkers that agreed that the Twin Towers should be rebuilt again stronger and

Many people from around the world that was born in the late 90's like me. (im 15) wanted to see the Twin Towers. But i don't agree with the outside inside changes. Keep the outside and the inside of the Twin Towers as the were with the rektangular windows and the nicer windows on the top and the first floor of the Towers. Just change the hold up of the buildings. The Steelpoles and more concrete. And keep the inside as it was on the original towers. Use the same blueprints and just change the hold ups. And use the exacley same material for the inside design. That would show americas enemies that you guys will not and not gonna back down for anything!!

WHAT HURTS IS THAT THE REAL REASON THE TOWERS AREN'T ALREADY REBUILT BIGGER AND BETTER IS... AS ALWAYS... MONEY. It's SAD. Take a long look at a dollar bill. Some glory seeking lawyer will eventually get "IN GOD WE TRUST" removed. In greed we trust would fit nicely, but the world already knows, and it's cheaper to do nothing. I'm glad and proud to have served when I was young and IGNORANT. GREED has led us all down the wrong path and doing the RIGHT thing only occurs when it's AFFORDABLE.

TTA Note: Greed certainly has played a big part in taking Ground Zero in the wrong direction. But in terms of the actual construction, spectacular, cutting edge Twin Towers was always the most affordable and practical solution. No question about that.

I have been a World Trade Center enthusiast since I was a yoing child. I absolutely loved the beauty and grace of the twin towers that dominated the New York Skyline. They also dominated our presence as America. They represented our freedom. I always wanted to visit them, but I was too late. I would do anything to have them back. The new freedom tower complex doesn't even compare to the twin towers. This better be corrected soon. It is not the same. It will never be unless they represent the original twin towers of the World Trade Center complex.

I don't remember seeing the World Trade Center. I was too young and wouldn't understand it. My father was in the building working there multiple times. He was just over a mile from the trade center when they collapsed. He even took photos of it. I think that they should do this because it was what represented new york during the late 20th century. People around the world dream of seeing them. It would take us back to before all this had happened making you smile everytime you go into the city. Welcome to the top of the world. It just looks like it's missing everytime you see the view from the top of rockefeller looking beyond the empire state building. Now that they have a 3 sided building with 2 others accompanying it just doesn't look right.

Please rebuild them bigger and better. I want to go visit NYC and be able to go in the WTC... not this Freedom Tower.

Thank you very much for creating this petition to rebuild the great Twin Towers. Twenty years ago I was so fortunate to go there, to see its memorable architecture and its million dollar views. They always had a commanding presence, representing the greatness of New York City and the USA. These magnificent buildings MUST be rebuilt to show the world that we are stronger than EVER!

Rebuilding both the towers would symbolize that Our Country cannot be broken. When we have fallen, we will rise again. I think the towers should stand once more.

I remember seeing the Towers from Newark Airport in 2000, and being so impressed by them from that viewpoint. I wish I could have visited them but am glad to have seen them from there at least. Even though I do like the new One World Trade Centre, I do wish they could rebuild the Twins as they were.

I was only 5 years old when the 9/11 attacks were carried out. I look back it at now thinking how can these massive iconic towers be missing from New York's skyline. The towers have a place in my heart and always will and they should never be forgotten. I am only 14 years old but one thing I would like to see happen before I die is the original Trade Centre build again. The new 'Freedom Tower' looks good, however, the Twin Towers have a special and unique [meaning] for me and nothing other than them will make up what happened on 9/11. Rebuilding the towers shows the terrorists that America is strong and the towers could easily be built stronger, taller and more safer. It is not about what is going to be there, it is about what is missing from the New York Skyline.

my aunt's and mother's best friend died on that day. it was heartbreaking and we need to pull together as a nation and re-build ground zero to show ourselves and terrorists that they will not continue to live in fear of what they have done to us. we are stronger than that.

I want the twin towers back!!!!! My uncles died on 9/11 & the "Freedom Tower" is nothing like the real World Trade Center! Towers 2-4 haven't been built yet, so they should use 2 of the structures to rebuild them. I hope the W.T.C will be back. Politics are just plain out retarded!!!!!!!

Rebuilding the Twin Towers would show that we are still strong and that nothing has changed. The Twin Towers were unique to New York. The Freedom Towers look like generic Hong Kong skyscrapers. I always loved the World Trade Center. When I was young, I remember seeing a commercial with an Olympic athlete jumping over a pole between the tops of the towers. I never got to see them in person.

We rebuilt the Pentagon as it was, New York should be no different. All the excuses for not rebuilding better Twin Towers were lame, and say to the world that terrorists won that round.
