The towers live in our heart...the heart of a city that is ours. Anything less than the towers on the site is unacceptable.

The Twin Towers was what was right in America. Like the Statue of Liberty was to Freedom, the Twin Towers was to Finance. And yet both intertwine with the Freedom and Liberty that made America great, and shall be again. Yes, rebuild the Twin Towers!

I really don't like what is happening at ground zero. I want the twin towers rebuilt but things are not looking too good. I get the feeling that the twin towers will never be seen again.

I love skyscrapers, especially the Twin Towers. I want them rebuilt badly, i f*cking hate the "Freedom Tower". More like Orogami Sh*t Tower, and the other 4 towers are sh*t. Come on, its we the people what we want, NOT THE GOVERNMENT. even Obama has to agree with us. The Twin Towers II would bring back how awesome they looked in the sky. The Freedom Tower is going to be capped and the twin towers might get rebuilt. The Freedom Tower is only 72 stories high right now so this means that we can probably still build the twin towers!

I looked to the left of me and saw the heart and soul of America.
The Stars and Stripes on the bridge,The Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Centre.
My journey was 26.2 miles that day.

i think if that world trade centres isnt not brought back soon i am angry getting. world trade centres is peace is winning which is peace in and throughout which it is in those towers.

Defiantly rebuild the towers!! Haven't been to NY yet but will soon and even sooner if they rebuild! It looks friken amazing and to see new Twin Towers would be epic!!!! REBUILD!!!

I THINK THE WORLD TRADE CENTER (TWIN TOWERS) SHOULD BE REBUILT EXACTLY LIKE THE ORIGINALS. Bring back the twin towers and restore lower manhattan to the way it was!

I remember visiting the Twin Towers when I was a little boy back in 1995 when I was living in New York City. I remember going to the outdoor observation deck of the South Tower and it was breath taking seeing the view of New York City. That is what made me fall in love with the Twin Towers. For some reason the Twin Towers are far different from any skyscraper that I have ever known. There is something about the Twin Towers that make them so different from other skyscrapers. I want the Twin Towers to be rebuilt. Rebuild the Twin Towers.

I want the Twin Towers rebuilt just like everybody else. It makes me sick to my stomach when I look at ground zero today the way it is. The Twin Towers stood where our civilization began as Americans.

About three years before 9/11, my family went to New York. The image locked in my head is of the skyline as I saw from the top of the Statue of Liberty, of the iconic buildings draped in a blanket of fog, and the Twins rising into what seemed infinity. Years later, knowing that view would never be the same is too upsetting to think about. The Twins were not just buildings, they were icons tragically taken from us. My family lost a dear friend/family member in the attacks, and he along with the others who were lost, if alive would surely want us to keep carrying on, to remember the past but also keep striving to the future. And in this time, there is no better way to do this then the Twin Towers, built exactly as I and many, and surely the lost, would remember them."

I am only 11 years old, the only thing I remembered was playing with my parents and later watching fire coming out of the WTC towers. I would love the twin towers to be rebuilt so I can see at least what they looked like. I have a good feeling we will have our peaceful towers back together and us as Americans can show the world that we won't get held back, we will show them we will continue and recover from that September day. I will live sad and angry if we don't get our towers restored and get a Freedom Tower, so please US government, support the WTC plaza! I hope I'll get to see the new World Trade Center towers in person. NO FREEDOM TOWER! I have a good feeling we'll have our towers back cause America stands faithfully, strong, and free.

I looked at ground zero and saw the mess that they are now building. I was really hoping to see new and safer Twin Towers at ground zero. I just found out that Mayor Bloomberg said that the outdoor observation deck that was on the South Tower's roof will be missed by many New Yorkers. The outdoor observation deck on the Twin Towers was considered the most popular tourist site in New York City. If we don't rebuild the Twin Towers, the terrorists win and we as Americans lose.

I watched the towers fall on live TV. I served overseas in Baghdad in '04. The towers need to be built better than ever before. The terrorists need to know that America has the persiverance to overcome whatever happens to us. REBUILD the towers!!! They need to be better than the might they had before.

I was 16 when 9/11 happened, I am now 26 and its horrible to think a whole decade has slipped by with the absence of the towers. My dad used to live in New York and regularly go inside the WTC for his job. I think the new design is a shocking disgrace. It just doesn't look right. It would give people so much sense of hope if the towers were to return. Ever since they collapsed the world has also been collapsing a little bit each year as well. Everyone around the world has been losing hope in the future and I believe this all began at 9/11. Bring back the twin towers and bring back hope to the world that things can be good again!

I want the twin towers back as well, because they were an important landmark for the great city of New York. The twin towers stood for what New York City stands for, Freedom and economic power. Because, anyone who thinks about New York City in the world thinks immediately about the Beautiful and majestic twin towers. That's why it is important to build them back, because that will show our determination and will power we have and that we are not afraid for the fact that we don't let the terrorists and the people who are against America win, by not rebuilding them.

Why is it that I see negative comments about why the Twin Towers can't be rebuilt? The Twin Towers can go right beside the memorial and right beside the Freedom Tower. There is still hope for the Twin Towers. All its going to take is leadership.

I'm tired of seeing comments... Why don't we just march and protest or do something! At this rate the twin towers will never be built!

I never got to see the stunning towers. Absolutely breath-taking they were. But then terrorists destroyed them. I'm becoming sick and mad because of 9/11, in the morning I need to hurl and at night I need to cry for the people who died and their families. The fact that the most beautiful towers have gone, makes it even worse.

I say: fix the hole in NYC and the hole in our hearts, don't pierce it further with the new WTC. Show the terrorists that America and its allies will not be beaten and will not be changed, we shall not flinch at what they throw at us, we shall stand tall as the Twin Towers once did, we are free and we don't need Freedom tower to show us that. I made a comment here earlier referring to this as the Osama Bin laden tower and since he's dead this building should be capped or you are building a memorial for him. The site was poorly planned and looks depressing. I support rebuilding the twin towers and only the twin towers, except no floor trusses this time and make the core concrete hardened.

As a little girl, i've always dreamed to visit New York, and especially go on top of the twin towers (my favorite skycrapers ever on every poster or movie.) Years and years later, i finally had the opportunity to visit this wonderful city and felt in love with it. When i went to visit ground zero, i couldn't feel nothing but sadness seeing this empty space, and what it was about to become. I respect the Freedom tower and its architects, but it doesn't fit New York. It's more a Dubai or Shanghai like building, and doesn't have this ''Manhattan' atmosphere the twin towers had. I don't lose hope that maybe someday they can be rebuilt, so i finally can get on top of them and live one of my childhood dreams.

I hope that they cap the Freedom Tower so that we can build the Twin Towers. I really miss the outdoor observation deck that was on the South Tower. That was one of the best parts of the Twin Towers. That outdoor observation deck. I also want to go to the famous Windows On The World restaurant in the North Tower. I hear that the Windows On The World was one of the most popular restaurants in the United States. For this reason we need to rebuild the Twin Towers.

Building those Towers again would I think put hearts at ease, what they are building now does look nice, but it shouldn't be related to the original World Trade Center at all, even though its where the Towers were. Even if they put the Towers somewhere else in New York, it means that they are still there for everyone to look at, work at, or even go to the Observation Deck. I'm not an American, but we all feel the same about this.

I get the feeling that the Freedom Tower is going to be capped and not completed. The Freedom Tower cannot continue to be built on lies because most Americans are waiting for new and safer versions of the original Twin Towers created by Minuro Yamasaki. I really hope they cap the Freedom Tower sooner.

When the twin towers were in new york, remember gas prices? Wow that was incredible everything was so cheap. Want the twin towers back, do something about it barack obama!!!! The freedom tower? I strongly believe that rebuilding the twin towers is the best solution. Terrorism is supposed to instill fear/terror to the citizens, creating distrust in their country. And it's done by disrupting our everyday lives. Building anything else sends a message saying "You won, terrorists! We're scared & incompetent, so we're trying to cover it up with a fancy memorial." Rebuilding the towers would say "Look, nothing changed. We're a strong country & continuing to live our lives. You terrorists aren't gonna get the satisfaction of making us live in fear". I came here because of Penn & Teller's BS show.

According to the wikepedia page the Freedom Tower is 69 stories tall. How are we going to get the Twin Towers back? There is no hope for the Twin Towers.

Rebuild the Twin Towers and they will be taller stronger and safer and will show how strong we are as a nation.

What hope is there in getting the Twin Towers back in the skyline? The Freedom Tower is 60 feet high right now. The 9/11 memorial museum is scheduled to be open on the 10th anniversary of the attacks of 9/11. I wish that they could rebuild the Twin Towers but it looks like its too late. We might as well just give up on the Twin Towers.

Every time I had gone to NYC the Twin Towers were my favorite buildings to look at and, to me, they made the city.

We need the Twin Towers back! They made the city and were iconic around the world. Countless times I have dreamed of going there, or even working there. Watching them collapse was heartbreaking to the core and to see this eye aching replacement is beyond sickening! New York City is not New York City without the Twin Towers there. I know we should and will never forget the tragedy of 9/11, but putting that "freedom" tower there as a replacement is a constant reminder of the helplessness that we felt on that day. Bringing the towers back will not be a "business as usual" symbol. It is a symbol of us getting through this hard time triumphantly. It is a way of healing.

We are American, we should never let One World Trade Center be built like this. We never admit defeat to terrorists, why alter the NYC skyline? Osama bin Laden is laughing at the bottom of the ocean because of the Fear Tower. It is not right to build it, it is placing the memories of the people who died there, and the Twin Towers in the back of the closet. And it isn't fair to future generations to be denied the chance to see the beautiful towers that stood there in person.
