Don't let the terrorists change New York skyline. Rebuild the twin towers.

I think it is a great idea and i would fully support its construction. I favor this to Freedom Tower.

Ever since I was a little kid, I have been fascinated by the USA. That dark day almost 10 years ago made me shiver. Even nowadays, this day is burned in my memory. Every time I visit Ground Zero, I get sad and a tear pops to my eyes. However, my love for the country gets stronger and stronger and I am sorry I haven't been there before the attacks. Because, I have the feeling of never being able to see the real New York, without the Towers.
May we never forget that a deed like this is always lurking behind a corner. And I am sure, one day, the city where the towers once stood, will be my home

It's a great thing that Osama Bin Laden is dead but why are we giving him and Al-Qaeda the satisfaction of their victory at the World Trade Center with the "Freedom Tower"? We should rebuild the twin towers to show the terrorists that we can prevail from tragedy and show the world that we are stronger than ever.

I want to see the Twin Towers rebuilt. I hate the current design because it is corrupt. I want to be able to eat breakfast in the Windows On The World Restaurant and I want to be able to go on top of the Outdoor observation deck of the South Tower. Please let us rebuild the Twin Towers because it is our only way of healing. Rebuild the Twin Towers.

The Twin Towers should be rebuilt taller and stronger. If we don't, the terrorists win, I am sure that Mohammed Atta and Marwan AlShehhi are smiling with the freedom tower rising, they want it to be built, because they know that it is a sign of their victory. Let's do the thing right, and show that we can be America again.

I'm from Australia and I consider those towers to be a majestic salute not just to the power and liberty of America, but to the power, freedom and harmony of western world democracy. Living in a country which is one of America's closest friends, not rebuilding those towers would reflect a weakness in both the power of democracy and our alliance. I personally like the design of the freedom tower as it could provide a more modern outlook to the skyline, but I believe that the rebirth of America, New York and the Western world is not possible without the symbolic rise of two towers.

Rebuilding the Twin Towers will mean so much to the 9/11 families. They deserve the best memorial that we can give to them. The best memorial will be to rebuild the Twin Towers designed by Minuro Yamasaki. Rebuild the Twin Towers.

The Twin Towers must be rebuilt back to its original form. The Freedom Tower does not properly respect the victims of 9/11. I just found out that the famous Windows On The World restaurant was scrapped and will not be a part of the new complex. Plus there is no outdoor observation deck. This is very bad for New York. The politicians are corrupt and selfish. The new project is being built on a lie and we cannot continue living in lies. We must rebuild the Twin Towers. Rebuild the Twin Towers!!

If we don't rebuild the Twin Towers the terrorists have won. They tried to destroy the Twin Towers for the first time in 1993 but they didn't succeed. The terrorists were successful on September 11, 2001 when they hijacked 2 airplanes coming out of Boston Logan Airport and intentionally flying them into the Twin Towers and killed thousands of people. If we don't rebuild the Twin Towers the terrorists have won by permanently damaging the face of New York and America. Rebuild the Twin Towers. Don't let the terrorists win!!

Like so many other comments before mine, it's been long enough for us to not do something about the WTC. I, personally, want new towers; others may not. I would rather have new towers standing there as opposed to flashlights to remind me of what happened. So, with that said, let's get this show started! I want Twin Towers II!

The twin towers were an iconic symbol of New York’s economic might. The new towers might match the floor area of the old towers, but they aren't the same, post-modern glass vs. the roomy WTC, bring back the twins! I even have a poster of the two towers standing at night in New York's skyline.

I would rather like the TwinTowers2 in a New York skyline than some modern building, which some people want to make New York modern, but i think it's rather sick.. it's what suites New York best, and the Twin Towers do that job perfectly!

My feelings now, are as resolute since 9/11. RE/BUILD THE TWIN TOWERS....better, stronger, safer. I cannot imagine a more just, more New York, more American response to the epic devastation we will forever feel, than saying to the world:

"If you knock us down, we will get back up."

There is a light and the end of this tunnel.

The Twin Towers had an outdoor observation deck on the South Tower and the famous Windows On The World restaurant on the 107th floor of the North Tower. The Freedom Tower will not include any of the things that the Twin Towers had which is really disgraceful. The government and politicians are corrupt, greedy, and selfish. We want the original Twin Towers rebuilt but stronger and safer. REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!!!

New York would never be the same again without those titanic magnificent towers rebuilt again. This is the only restoration of New York image and reputation. This is the best revenge that Americans can do to humiliate terrorists and honor those who paid their lives in that site. New towers that are identical to the ones attacked would be the best memorial and best symbol of a nation that never dies. That's what I call reincarnation.

I hope so much you will rebuild them in all its splendor and stronger than before soon, because Twin Towers were also the symbol of freedom, progress and human strength.

I was in 2nd grade when the towers went down...I am now in 11th grade and know that IT WOULD ONLY BE AMERICAN TO REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!

I've always thought they should simply rebuild the towers for several reasons. One, they were beautiful and iconic buildings. Two, it would be a massive boost to New York's tourist economy. Lots of people would return to NY just to see them again, I as a Britsh person who has only been abroad once in my life (NYC April 2009!), would book a plane instantly tomorrow just to go back and see them alone! Thirdly, it would be a great message to terrorism, telling terrorists they will never win, no matter what buildings they destroy. Rebuild the towers, make New York New York again!!!

Rebuild them better and stronger than before. Show the terrorists that they won’t win by knocking down our buildings, that we are strong enough to put them right back.

The only part that I like about the "Freedom Tower" complex is the museum. Rebuild the REAL World Trade Center!!

I am a Middle School student that thinks the United States should have the Twin Towers built again. This will bring American spirit back and destroy the spirits of the Muslims. They deserve it after all the crap they've done to us.

I really loved the design of the Twin Towers and the Freedom Tower don't even make a better america. The Freedom Tower looks more like a giant needle that stabbed NYC and makes the country not look strong but weak. I love the WTC. I went there in july 2000 with family. It was a great day out on the windows on the world. Its so unreal that they are gone. Bring them back!!! God bless America

This is a big crime going on here in the United States. The Freedom Tower is not going to have the Windows On The World Restaurant. They just scrapped the Windows On The World Restaurant which is a disgrace. Plus there is no outdoor observation. What is happening at ground zero is a rank of abuse and must be dealt with. The Twin Towers must be rebuilt if we want to take our country back!

I heard that they scrapped the famous Windows On The World Restaurant on the Freedom Tower. This is a disgrace to New York and to the world! The Windows On The World Restaurant made $37 billion dollars and was the most respected restaurant in New York City and America. This is a crime against New York and the United States of America. i was a friend of the twins... i remember just staring in awe of their incredible height and would say to those who worked up there: "hows the weather up there?" the twins dont deserve to be honored with this whole "freedom tower" junk... REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!!!!

This should be up to the people of New York to decide. Politicians have done enough with approving this nasty freedom tower. I may not live in New York but I will in a few years. New York is like the capital of the world and is known for the twin towers at the World Trade Center. Bring them back. The terrorists will not win!

im from the UK and i defo agree that the Twin Towers should be rebuilt the usa is strong and by doing this they would show this to everyone, i remember the day when i got home from school i saw on the news about this it was scary stuff. i really feel sorry for everyone who had to witness such terror that day and my heart goes out to everyone who lost there lives that day
