To heal the wound of 9/11 it's necessary to rebuild the original skyline of New York!

The world trade centers have become a patriotic symbol of pride, hope, and power. If we don't speak up now to rebuild them, and we stay silent, they will be gone forever and it will be too late. I say we build them both back up even higher as a big middle finger to Osama and his crotch bombers, and to restore manhattan to what it was on September 10th 2001.

I'm so sad, Since I was a child I wanted to visit The twin towers they were very beautiful, and I still think about this, I really want to go to new york and work in this beautiful city but it would be nice in the new twin towers,please rebuild the world trade center (twin towers II)SALUDOS DESDE MEXICO =)

i was on the 78 floor when the first plane comes in i was helping people out when i herd a giant crash i din't know that was a 2nd plane hiting tower 2 i helped a bunch of people out that day then me and some people herd a loud boom i knew the south tower was comming down and we were almost there we were to the lobby when the south tower came down we were in gulfed in smoke when the smoke cleared we ran out i looked back then the north tower fell now all i have to say is i hope they rebiuld

I want the Towers to be built all over again. I think they should be Taller and Bigger than before. I would even Volunteer myself for free to help build them again. I just want to see them on the skyline again.

It about time we take a stand as Americans. The Twin Towers were a symbol of Freedom through out the world. We are tought from childhood the when you get knocked down dust yourself off and get back up. Its the American way. This is why The Towers have to go back up just like a pheonix rising from the ashes. What was that famous movie that said "We're Back" oh thats right Poltergeist.

I am a native New Yorker and I served in OIF 2004-2005.
I strongly believe we need to send a clear message to the world that if you knock us down we will get back up again!
We are New York's finest and we will not go out without a fight!
I would suggest that the towers be taller than before with a memorial on site.

I think it's important to rebuild the twin towers to show the world and ourselves that we stick together and become stronger. The point of rebuilding the twin towers is to show the importance of remembering and not to forget. Remember the Alamo!

9 yrs ago we were attacked by cold blooded mass murderers w/no regard for people, the world or God representing the worst of humanity. Some are afraid to rebuild it as it was out of fear. If we let this happen the enemy wins! The WTC was incredibly striking by its sheer size! Only in New York could it have worked so perfectly. It's a symbol, one that MUST be restored to its previous glory. What happened to the commitment to rebuild quickly? Stop debating, thinking & GET IT DONE NOW & as the WTC!

The fact that we lost those gorgeous towers was bad enough, now they want to build some mother freakin' Freedom Tower. We should build the Twin Towers back, bigger and more durable than the old ones, just to show the terrorists that they can't keep us down!
We didn't mess up the Pentagon, we didn't change it at all, granted it was not completely destroyed, they still did nothing to alter what it was!

9/11 is a is a huge disaster in American history, my grandmother was on the twins towers. (25/06/2001). I'm not from America, but I know what symbol are twins for America.I think that the relatives of the witness would reather see re-built twin towers as an urban skyscrape.

It hasnt really affected me until recently when I did some reasearch into several different areas of 9/11. Although I live in the UK seeing the New York skyline without the towers is incomplete and shows the terrorists won. I have always wanted to visit the towers. Please rebuild them.

Not rebuilding the Twin Towers is like saying we're too scared to rebuild them. Bring them back!! They were an icon in NYC, and we'd show that we can rebuild from something like 9/11.

It's been almost ten years and still nothing. If the new One World Trade Center is all we've got, then at least give it a twin. For thirty years the New York skyline as we knew it had two towers as the focal point; if they don't come back, the terrorists have won. Deepest respect to those who lost their lives and those who worked to save them, and I believe restoring the skyline and the original World Trade Center complex would be a true tribute.

I went to NYC before 9/11 but I don't think I'll ever go again if the Towers aren't rebuilt. It's Paris without the Eiffel Tower: not Paris. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if what they were building instead wasn't horrible, but... it is and will just ruin the skyline. I'd rather them leave it a gaping hole than build the "Freedom Tower."

Rebuild the Twin Towers. That farce of Freedom/One World Trade Center is not what the public wants. New York skyline will NEVER be the same without those iconic twins in the sky.

I was fortunate to go inside the World Trade Center two times in my entire life. Both of those times I was a toddler in a stroller. To this day I always think about symbolism it had on the city, Empire state, Statue of liberty and the Twin towers. I agree with building the towers to make the city, the city again.

the twin towers should be rebuilt, its common sense, why build another building that isnt the same and only 1 of them, they should be rebuilding the twin towers pretty much totally identical to the first ones tho maybe a bit taller, stronger and more resistant, the 1st ones were completed in 1970 its now 2010 there is alot more advancments in modern technology and construction though this idea will likely fail as the new single tower has already far began construction. rebuild the twin towers WTC.

Please rebuild the Twin Towers. They were a symbol of America's prosperity and uniqueness. They were a symbol to the world of our status and national pride. There is no better memorial and testiment to the brave souls lost there than to rebuild the towers.

i hope to see the towers rebuilt because i want to be able to look up and smile not look up and see nothing rebuilding them may not change what happened but it helps heal the wounds
