The twin towers need to be rebuilt; they fit in with New York much better than this other design, and as we are mourning the loss of the buildings as well as the loss of life, it makes sense to attempt to heal some of these wounds with a bigger and better World Trade Center.

I think that if we were to recreate these towers, it would represent this nation's ability to emerge from our darkest times. It is our willpower that makes these united states proud. September 11th was one of our darkest days, but we stood strong. Hopefully one day the Twin Towers will also once again stand strong.

Well the "Osama Bin Laden tower" has topped the street. This building is a friggin joke. It took almost a decade to build this atrocity. It took Dubai half of that to build the awesome Burj Khalifa. I hope you gov't assholes enjoyed pissing my tax dollars on the al queda center. Will never visit this joke of a complex ever in my life. Rebuilding the tougher towers would have been quicker and cheaper to do.

I am 16 years old at the time I sign this petition. I was 8 when the terrorists knocked down our buildings, killed almost 3000 Americans, and tried to bring us to our knees. It is great that we are pushing them back, defeating and dispersing them, however, the damage done to America's being has not been fixed. The scar will always remain, but we must heal the wound. To heal that wound, we must rebuild the Twin Towers.

Although I’m only 12 years old, I think that the World Trade Center Twin Towers must be rebuilt to help make America what it’s supposed to be. The Twin Towers play an emotional part in my life. I never go a day without thinking about them. I’m hoping one day i won't have to remember them in sadness. Instead I'll remember the great time I had visiting them (which I hope will come soon). Those beautiful towers standing in lower Manhattan rising above NYC were just amazing. With the Freedom Tower in their place, America is not what it’s supposed to be. With the memorial to all those who died on 9/11 and the remains of the original north tower facade, the Twin Towers are the only right answer. Rebuild the Twin Towers!

The twin towers were beautiful buildings, and although I don't see greater sense in this petition I give my vote for it, because if you don't fight, then you've already lost.

I never got the chance to climb to the top of the WTC (always saw it in 'Kevin Lost in New York' at the beginning) but it was taken away from me with the attacks. I admire the architecture and I think it matches the skyline much better than a supermodern building and that it's NOT a vilification of the victims of 9/11.

America without the Twin Towers is like Microsoft without a computer. For the sake of all that makes sense, rebuild the Twin Towers. Standing, they would represent a nation of great power, for which you should be proud. Freedom Tower represents a nation defeated by terrorists, for which you will be ashamed.

Rebuilding shows recovery, resilience, and strength. It shows we won't be knocked down. We are America. Knock us down and we are going to brush ourselves off and stand right back up to you. It is symbolic. We can't let them win by showing we are so damaged we can't recover in some way. In addition to that all those that sacrificed their lives should have a legacy, a landmark, and a memorial. It should be rebuilt bigger and better with a memorial for the fallen.

They should be rebuilt the exact same way just one floor higher. The terrorists need to know you may have gotten to us but we have and will continue to be stronger than ever.

Our country needs to show the rest of the world we can get through this kind of tragedy as strong as before. Rebuild.

I think it's absurd that the Twin Towers are not being rebuilt in their original glory. The concept of the "Freedom Tower", while admirable, is a concession at best and possibly criminal at its worst.

For God's sake -- we are Americans!!!! You may knock us down, but we'll rise up again, stronger than ever.

I grew up watching these being biult,and to take away something as majestic as these would be a dismantling of american pride,heritage and courage.Not only do these towers represent america but it represents what we strive for,being the best,and to let people who hate america win over our pride is to admit that we are a nation of cowards.Lets biuld these towers up again and stronger and taller,with better measures in place,to rebiuld with better consequences.GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I have been on google earth manhatten and compared silversteins wtc wth the twin towers 2 design, and cant stop looking at the twin towers 2 wth its relation to the rest of the skyline and it looks brilliant.Larry Silvertein's wtc just looks crap in relation to the skyline.

Bring them back, no questions asked. It's time that New Yorkers got to decide, not politics and companies. The Twin Towers belonged to New York and they still do. It's the least we can do to honor those who lost their lives. It will be the most fitting tribute to our brothers and sisters who we will always miss terribly. Nothing will ever fill that void but maybe we can restore a sense of hope and home by rebuilding the towers.

The current design being built is bland and forgettable. The twin towers were once bold and distinct - Bring them back.

Although I was 5 years old when this happened and even though I live o the other side of the country I want the towers rebuilt!!!! I AM AN AMERICAN CITIZEN, WHO WILL ONE DAY BE LIVING IN NEW YORK I WANT TO SEE THE TOWERS THERE STRONGER AND TALLER THAN BEFORE!!!!! When I went to NY last spring what I saw was horrible!! a pile of dirt and a structure of 6 floors being built of the new hidious freedom tower. I think we should rebuild the amazing towers. In 2001 they were beautiful and had no good reason at all to be taken down by those stupid terrorists. I hate America is not a ligit reason for an attack. I really would like new twin towers to give us back the skyline we all love.

I'll never forget the majestetic view of the Twin Towers.
I'll always remember the beautifulness of the WTC.
As a firefighter I will mourn for all firefighters and medical staff that lost their lives at the attack even if I never new them. I only donated a few mony but I hope it will help to hit our target.

As a former New Jersey resident and a Marine that was in boot camp on Sept. 11, I didn't see what happened live that day. Every time I drive back home to see my family from Mass. I look across the river and it just doesn't look right. The towers need to be rebuilt. It needs to look the way it did. I want the skyline back to the way it was.

I know they started the new one already, but it would have been much more special to rebuild the twin towers. Would be more symbolic. I still support this.

I'm from New York, and I was only 6 when the towers collapsed, back then, I didn't know how bad that day really was. Now, I know how bad it really was, and I would like those towers to be rebuilt. Even though the other design is still going to rebuild the World Trade Center, the Twin Towers won't be with that new design. I personally think America won't be the same without those towers, so I, and many other Americans, hope that the Twin Towers will be rebuilt like the way it should be.

Our enemies committed a dastardly act to deny America of our beloved Twin Towers of the World Trade Center. It is unconscionable to concede this denial by replacing our towers with lesser structures to hope to appease the terrorists.

We MUST rebuild our towers...not with mere duplicates of the original, but with twin towers that SURPASS the originals in size and stature, based on the original design, to demonstrate that AMERICANS WILL NOT BE DENIED!
