When I was little, I remember looking up at the Twin Towers when ever I saw them. They were my favorite buildings, and I always thought they could never be brought down. I don't want the Twin Towers gone because of an act of terror. I want them back, bring back the old New York skyline!

Rebuild the World Trade Center's Twin Towers!!! I believe bringing the towers back will restore the icon and symbol of New York once again!!! I never was able to go atop of the second tower before, now could be me chance! Please President Obama, allow th PA to rebuild the twin towers! Rebuild it excactly the way it was, just make the buildings on the side glass with the memorial.

TTA Note: Thank you... If people had any idea that there is a movement and a real plan we surely would have hundreds of thousands of signatures -- but then we wouldn't need a petition... If people knew that there is a viable Twin Towers option, it would be all over for that tower that is such a glaring symbol of tyranny, not freedom. And they will know -- it is our constant aim. I am absolutely positively begging you to rebuild the towers in the likeness of the original design that Ken Gardner is pushing to build. HIS design is the ONLY design that should ever be passed to replace the original WTC Twin Towers. We MUST rebuild those towers for the sake of the morale and self-esteem of the American people. The new design is exactly what America needs and the majority of those I know in my own hometown feel the same way. We want those towers rebuilt! PLEASE!

The Twin Towers were one of the great icons of our nation. And now they are building this random piece of junk! They know we want the Twin Towers, so why are they going on with the Freedumb Tower? REBUILD THE TWIN TOWERS!!

The Twin Towers are what made New York's skyline unique and what it was. It defined New York. It was New York. That is how everyone knew it was New York. The Freedom Tower makes it look like any other city skyline, and New York is different. We need to rebuild the Twin Towers and make New York the familiar, happy place it was before 9/11. IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!!

I think they should rebuild the twin towers instead of the freedom towers....The twin towers are more pretty. Freedom towers are ugly and its a waste because theres 5 towers.

i think we need to rebuild the twin towers! they where amazing! and im from the UK and im 12. on the day of september 11th i was at school so i didnt know about the whole thing and i was to young to understand but now i think shoud get them back! im hoping this petition might make a change!

I think this is a GREAT idea, and they should rebuild the towers, so America can prove to the world that we can not be taken down, and we will never give up!

The Towers need to come back, it's not too late. I agree with previous statements that if the Towers are not rebuilt then the terrorists have absolutely won! Shame on the people who are building "Freedom Tower" or whatever it is being called. Give America its identity back!

I would love nothing more than to see the towers not only rebuilt, but hey lets make them even taller. How often do you watch a old movie and see the towers? The feeling that it gives you is both sad and proud at the same time. The people that worked/died at the towers I'm sure had to be proud to say that they worked in the world trade center. The terrorists were cowards and their actions proved that. American was not founded by weak people. we need to let them know they did not win.

I grew up in New York City for the first 14 years of my life, and I can always remember feeling a sense of completion with the Twin Towers being as part of my consciousness. With them now destroyed, there is only ONE answer, put them back! I happily join this cause, and truly hope to see the Twin Towers rise again. I've got my own 7'11" Twin Towers out of legos. I couldn't help it, I missed them that much!

At first I was side with the Freedom Tower, Its a good tower but not for New York City. America desperately need the Twin Towers back. Taller, Safer, And Stronger for the heart of the american spirit. Im a young architect trying to build my very own Towers in Jacksonville FL, But also I would be glad to help and take my time to sign this petition for New York and Twin Towers.

To rebuild the twin tower II and see them raised in the New York skyline. It would put closure to a tragic event in the history of this country. I love the twin towers, they inspired me since I was boy little. I always wanted visit the towers and appreciate their majestic beauty. After 9-11 I was hopeless till I found out about this attempted to rebuild them. I really hope it comes true. I would like to take my kids one day. And share the beauty and history of why the towers stand tall that day.

I love the twin towers. On september 11th my mom came home from work. And saw me crying she turned on the T.V and was stunned.It was 11:00 a.m. witch meant the towers were already down. I was 5 when they came down. Now I am 12 about to turn 13. I have researched alot about twin towers. Watched videos. And even made tributes. But i still cant get that sicking feeling out of my heart. Only way to get it out is to rebuild the twin towers. 65ft higher so they are tallest buildings in the world again

We must rebuild the twin towers if our city is to retain its greatness in the world. We live in a vertical city and to not have those towers is a painful reminder of a glory we had once achieved. Without those towers we have lost that glory and pride of place in our city and have been defeated by the terrorists and enemies of a free and open society. We need them both physically and psychologically as well as economically, in the long run, for our city to remain a great financial capital.

I honestly don't understand those behind the rebuilding process at Ground Zero. Are they blind to what the people want? Most New Yorkers would actually prefer the Twin Towers be rebuilt, including myself. It makes no sense to simply forfeit to the enemy, build a depressing memorial nobody likes, and build a series of out of place towers around it. My uncle worked there and he is outraged by the Freedom Tower. "Unfeasible" my foot. That sad excuse for progress needs to be taken down right now.

I agree, I think the Towers should be rebuilt because without them, a piece of New York's historical heritage is missing. And we need to find the pieces to put it back.

It's true terrorists wanted to kill Americans. But, it's also true that they flipped through pages of pictures of skyscrapers, and decided upon the World Trade Center in New York, because it showed the world just how arrogant America is. It wasn't arrogant, we showed the world just what we can do when we work together! The World Trade Center was a symbol of strength, and economic power. The new one will now be a symbol of America's poor, weak, and cowardly ways to the rest of the world! Good job showing the world how cowardly we are with the new smaller World Trade Center!

Thank you for letting me express my disdain for the new World Trade Center. I shouldn't even call it that, it's NOT the World Trade Center. It NEVER will be, without those two glorious towers!!

I miss the wtc every day and thier is not a day that goes by where i don't think about them or miss them. the president (Barack Obama) should come in this and STOP THE SITE and say stop this site and rebuild the twin towers now! or go on television and let america to decide what they want to do PLEASE PRESIDENT LET US WIN AND GET OUR TOWERS BACK.

Since 9/11, something was missing, not just from the physical landscape of Manhatten but in all of our minds and hearts. To rebuild the World Trade Center would be a healing to all of those who remembered it as it once was, to truly make it feel right and balanced. It would be the greatest show of American tenacity, durability and resilience that would make a city, a people and a nation whole, complete once again. Sounding out the message: We shall not, we cannot, be broken.

Had I been among the dead in the terrorist attacks, my wish would have been that the towers would be completely rebuilt. Forget this ridiculous sham called the "freedom tower." Rebuild the towers taller and stronger, line them with gold, and arm them with missile defenses!!!

I believe that using 9/11 as an excuse to "renovate" ground zero is disgraceful. rebuilding the twin towers is far more noble than creating something different. If we build the freedom tower. THE TERRORISTS HAVE CHANGED THE SKYLINE!
