Rebuilding is the only option to show the strength and determination that Americans will not stop.

I want to see the twin towers back in new york. I live in england, and ive always wanted to go to new york, but new york just isnt the same as it was when the towers where there. I dont think people want to see the freedom tower or whatever it is called. People want to see the twin towers.

I would really love to see the twin towers rebuilt. I believe the sky line is just not complete without the World Trade Center buildings!

I would love to see the Twin Towers built back like they where. They are a symbol of NYC Skyline, I have been to NYC several times, and I can not imagine NYC without the Twin Towers. Thank you

Rebuilding the towers exactly as they were is the only acceptable end game!!! We will never forget what happened on 9/11. Rebuilding the towers exactly how they were will show terroriists all over the world America's resolve!! We will never bow down to their tactics or demands.

I know it was evil when the towers where destroyed but where airport security is so tight these days, do you really think there is a chance that they will be hit again? I think not!!!

I live in New Zealand and love America, I would love to go to NYC and hopefully one day when I go I will be able to see the twin towers standing tall.

America was targeted for a reason because it is the best country in the world and other countries are jealous of its power but no other country will stop America's light from shining.

If the twin towers were rebuilt then America can win the fight and will be in control of the world trade center again and we can finally move on from 9/11.

Failure to rebuild the Twin Towers will mark the decline of America. It's that simple.

Rebuilding the towers would be akin to falling off the horse and climbing right back on. Times-a-wastin'. Let's Git 'Er Done!

Please rebuild Twin Towers II, with the Freedom Tower the skyline is not a skyline of NYC. Signature from Spain.

Nothing less than rebuilding the Twin Towers exactly as they were is acceptable to any world citizen who values freedom and democracy. When the Campanile of St Mark's Square in Venice collapsed in 1902, the city authorities and the citizens of that other great republic were of one voice when they considered a replacement:

"DOV' ERA E COM' ERA" - "HOW IT WAS, AND WHERE IT WAS".

Our current plans to "rebuild" the World Trade Center don't rebuild them at all- they simply give us generic, paranoid buildings that seem to erase what happened on 9/11. If we truly want to create a memorial to that day, if we want to make a statement about our will and our abilities, we must rebuild the twin towers greater than ever before.

Dear Twin Towers Alliance,
My Name is Matthew Young and I am writing to you from Bellflower, California. I believe that the Twin Towers must be rebuilt because they symbolize New York. I think President Obama should take charge of the rebuilding process because it is not a thing that should be left to the city or the state. They are afraid to rebuild the Twin Towers because they think another 9/11 will happen if we do. I pray that Obama has gotten the message so he can act as soon as possible.

Just because Pataki is too afraid to rebuild the very Towers that were attacked, doesn't mean he can abuse his power. His idea is not the Freedom Tower. It is the FEAR Tower, and only serves as an example of American paranoia. The idea to rebuild the original buildings is not a dream. Architects have presented actual models of a rebuilt design, adding appropriate safety features that the Port Authority ignored in the 1960s. I have personally seen the top of the WTC, and we deserve better!

I've been reading over the design of this new WTC and it SUCKS! I wish that the people's voices had been respected because NYC truly does need its Twin Towers back. 🙁 Hopefully it's not too late.

I'm a Brazilian teenager who prays everyday to they rebuild the Twin Towers, first of all, it's not too late, we can see the current progress at Ground Zero. It was been 8 or 7 years now since New York wasn't New York anymore: Terrorists take the towers in New York Skyline, but they never will take the towers from our hearts, and now IS TIME to make these words WORTH.

We want it back bigger and stronger. Donald J. Trump had it correct when he said to show we came back bigger and stronger. Build them back and add a few floors.

Rebuilding is a must, not a goofy spire but working offices, make them bigger, taller stronger and build them fast so we can shove'm down the terrorists' throats.

My father died in the Twin Towers, and I would love for the Towers to be the way they were. I have recently done a persuasive essay to put a park in the area instead of the Freedom Tower. Although I have a few opposing views, I am with you all the way.

My father is retired FDNY. Many of our friends died that day. My aunt was on the 93rd floor. Growing up in Staten Island, I always loved the sight of the Towers when I looked at the City. Every time I pass the site where the twins were, I feel anger and rage. Those animals stole a part of my heritage. The Twin Towers were like the Grand Canyon, no picture or book could ever capture its awe-inspiring emotion. Rebuild the Twin Towers.

If we don't rebuild the twin towers, then the terrorists have won. I think the only way to really remember what the towers stood for and remember all the people that died on 9/11 is to rebuild those towers on the same exact spot that they once stood. Could we send a better message to the world? We are the United States of America, and no matter what you throw our way, we will not cower in fear and we will not let you destroy our spirit.

If the Statue of Liberty was struck on 9/11, we wouldnt even have an argument in whether to rebuild it or not.
The twin towers represented something more than offices and steel, it was the symbol of western civilization. It would be a disgrace if they are not rebuilt.
I am going to resent the Freedom Tower for the rest of my life if it is erected.

As both a business owner who works closely with the construction industry and passionate New Yorker I feel it is in all of our best interests to rebuild the towers stronger, greener, and better than before.

To me there is really no logical reason that can be made for not re-building the twin towers.

Quite simply, the people who should have the final say should be the families of the victims.

In fact you could say that the decision should have been theirs from the beginning, and from what I've heard they support re-building the towers rather than the freedom tower.

I'm quite certain Mr. Obama would agree that the families deserve the final say.

I will pray that your cause is successful.

TTA Note: The only thing we will add to Clint's comment is that the family that counts the most is the American Family -- we all have a big stake in this outcome.

The best way to tell the terrorists that they did NOT win would be to re-build the Twin Towers, not some stupid 'freedom spire'. A building with a big stick on top that is not going to be the tallest building in the world anyway because the "big stick" is not part of the structure of the building.

The Twin Towers were arguably the greatest construction ever to grace the face of New York, the United States, and even the world. Rebuilding the Twin Towers is the only thing that can help us move on from this terrible disaster. Anything else will be a constant reminder of the horrors of 9/11.

Hello, I believe that the twin towers should be built, scrap that freedom tower, its a piece of junk. FEARTOWER. I gurantee that it will be built stronger and much safer, it will also make a lot of people feel better. The wtc was a peaceful place lets not let some idiots ruin our country. and lets not ruin our country by building a pile of junk.
