its time to reclaim new york's skyline and rebuild the twin towers instead of an ugly freedom tower......... the reason they might not build it is because the the man that proposed the idea is black and the man who proposed the freedom tower is white......... u do the math......... i want the towers back!

Although I am not from your country,I have a great respect for those who died in action or those who were or are victims of the tragic. Personally I believe it should be made into a memorial park for families to remember their loved ones, but also think that if they could be rebuilt the same as the originals it would be great and would serve as a message that we all fight back, bearing in mind the respect of all families linked to this site.

Bring back the WTC! I have been to Ground Zero twice since 9/11 and would feel ashamed and angry if I was an American at the lack of development.

Bringing back the WTC is necessary for america to move forward. It would help the healing process.

I like everyone around the world was shocked with the 9/11 attacks and cant believe that it has taken so long to make a decision on what should be built on the site. Everyone around the world, when you mention New York, thinks 1st of the famous skyline. The towers must be rebuilt, and I agree with Donald Trump in that an extra floor should be built to show these cowards that its just like the song says, I get knocked down, but I get up again, you wont ever keep me down.

I think the Freedom Tower sucks. It doesn't give America the glory it deserves. I was eight when 9/11 happened and I always wanted to go on top of the Twin Towers. The Freedom Tower is taking that dream away from me. Plus, how many other generations have to grow up without the Twin Towers. It's a disgrace. The new Twin Towers are better in every way and it would make America whole again. Also I don't want to see a big hole in the ground at every 9/11 anniversary.

Bring back the towers and show everyone America is strong and can come back from a devastating tragedy.

The correct thing to do would be to rebuild A.S.A.P. as im sure if other American icons were destroyed they would be rebuilt. I was lucky to visit the World Trade Center and to be on the roof. There is nothing else like it what a view. Eight years has past and all New York has to show is nothing. To the pepole of New York Demand that you get your Magnificent twin towers rebuilt. Accept nothing else.

I refuse to accept the fact that the government is gonna replace our Twin Towers w/ the overbudget Freedom Tower cause some other culture filled with evil destroyed the Twin Towers.

I never saw the towers. But if or when they are rebuilt, I will somday. Anyway, I hate the Libenskind's plan, it is just ugly. If you want hear someone who really hates it, try listening to Donald Trump. I saw the Gardner/Belton plan called Twin Towers 2 , and I really liked it. If or when it is rebuilt I will pay a visit, or maybe even stay in the Hotel on the complex. Also if it is going to be rebuilt, someday my future engineering company Typhoon engineerings will become a tenent. Rebuild now.

Rebuild the original Twin Towers not some space age modern nightmare. The Twin Towers were New York and that's what should be in that area with respectful space provided for the friends, families, and co-workers we lost.

The rebuilding of the Twin Towers is what most Americans want, especially New Yorkers. Why are the powers that be (the ones in charge of the rebuilding process) ignoring this? The Freedom Tower is not a symbol of America like the Twin Towers were...it's somebody's art project, and could never take the place of those magnificent buildings. Freedom Tower (and the surrounding buildings that are going to go up along with it) would look better off in the Hong Kong skyline...not in NYC!

I feel that we need those Towers back on the lower Manhattan Skyline. It does not seem like a good idea to place the Freedom Tower in its place. It is just not right. I was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and lived in New York for 13 years feel like most people we need to do the right thing for those innocent people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the best way is to rebuild. Not build that Freedom Tower. Let them build it somewhere else. IMHO

Please just rebuild them. I was so angry when I watched them fall, but the anger has subsided and I just want back what was once there; the greatness that was these towers. They were gorgeous buildings, I don't believe anything could ever replace the originals, but rebuilding them will prove to those who brought them down that we are a proud nation. Don't take that away from us with the 'Freedom Tower'.

What ever happened to the unbelievable drive this Country of ours once had? Just 6 mos after Pearl Harbor, our Navy was victorius in the battle of Midway. Nowadays we don't dare make a move on any subject without forming a "blue ribbon committee", only to debate the subject for countless yrs and still come up empty. Hard to believe we made it to the moon, ahh, but then those were very different times. Towers yet to be rebuilt doesn't surprise me in today's America, and that is truly sad.

My birthday is September 11th and it was a very sad day for all Americans to see those beautiful towers that were the heart and soul of New York City fall. This so called Freedom Tower is a Joke and I never liked It from the beginning. I say were Americans Dammit and not rebuilding the towers is a slap in the face. We need to have those skyscrapers touching the heavens again. By not Rebuilding them were telling Bin Laden that he has won and that we might as well we waving a white flag in surrender.

I never got to see the Iconic Twin Towers as it was 2004 when i visited New York.

Rebuilding the twin towers will be the best possible memorial. It's the only plan that shows the enemy that America will always bounce back...and better than before. Seven and a half years later jihadists are still using images of the towers falling for their own propaganda. Rebuilding the towers will take the recruiting effectiveness out of those images!

I am a 17 year old male from Glasgow Scotland. I particulary would love to see the towers back in the sky of New York. As its always what stuck out in the minds of almost everybodys when they thought of New York or even America. I began looking into the towers roughly about a year ago due to consiracy theoryist and would love see the towers rise once again.

I believe that the towers should be rebuilt...although I have never been to NYC..that has been a dream of mine since I was a small child. I believe our country would like to see them back there just as they were...standing tall and beautiful...we must not let these terrorists believe they have defeated our country. Quite simply put this is the best plan. Nothing else will state the position of America and the free world that it will not be effected by the acts of a few individuals with their own twisted agenda. I visited New York just before the first attack in the 90's and I want my daughter who was due to be born on Sept 11 2001 to one day visit New York and see the twin towers for herself. To allow the construction the Freedom Tower would be an example of how to teach our children the wrong values.

The Twin Towers are a part of OUR country! The World Trade Center in New York City, New York MUST be built the way it was! DO WHAT THE MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY WANTS! Never again will the sun rise in the midst of the towers that grace OUR city, if you continue with the MISTAKE that is FREEDOM TOWER! Freedom Tower is anything BUT a sign of freedom, It's an ABOMINATION TO NEW YORK AND THE COUNTRY!

The Freedom Tower does no justice to 911. This is not the way to win the war on terror. We should not have to compromise Manhattan's skyline with a building designed like this. It looks nothing like the twin towers. The only thing to do is build those f**kers back and build them bigger, stronger, and taller than any goddamn building in the world. I mean taller than the BurgDubai and taller than any damn building that any of those jealous countries out there could ever dream of building!

What will be true for generations, once the Twin Towers are rebuilt, is that they will be the Most Famous and Most Celebrated Buildings in the World.

I believe that building twin towers in the spirit of the World Trade Center would be a very strong symbolic message that in spite of the attack on our country and the murder of thousands of people by terrorists who have no regard for life they will in the end have only accomplished in making us stronger and more secure and we can show that we are not afraid, and we will not live in fear of them. Their destruction will only be temporary, only to see us rebuild, stronger and greater then before.

We should rebuild the towers because if we dont do anything about terrorism, it will continue and america will perish.
