May God Bless all those family members of the victims of terrorist attacks around the world. I believe terrorists will never win and that the twin towers will return to New York Bigger and Better than before. I support the New World Trade Centre.
They need to be taller than before. Showing our strength and beliefs than we can come through anything as a nation.
New York will be complete again with Twin Towers, stand tall America, literally.
I miss those towers so much. They bring back so many memories in the years before that terrible tragedy. They must be rebuilt because they will inspire us amercians in these tough times ro take an extra step. I can't wait to step into the new towers. I was 6 when 9/11 happened and I would love to see the new wtc twin towers.

The "Freedom Tower" (more like Surrender Tower) is a disgrace to everything America stands for. If we build it then we let the terroists know they got to us. We should build the WTC taller than before.

We should not alter, change, diminish, or hide American pride. The twin towers need to stand again, taller; we are no longer victims.
This would send a clear message
If Americans get knocked down we get back up! To have some crackpots take away the most recognized symbol of America and NOT put it back up is unthinkable. The towers need to be rebuilt as they were.
When a hero gets knocked down, there is no whining or indecision. The hero gets back up and fights. Are we mice or men?
The greatest victory of terrorism is to see how America has given up freedom in the name of security. Rebuild the towers taller and stronger then dump the patriot act. No fear here.
I had no idea there was a plan afoot to rebuild the towers. THAT is what should have been done by now!!! What is this capitulating to the Terrorists?? This is our country. If I hadn't been on Mark Levin's website, I'd not have known.

Wow I wish i knew about all this earlier! I think I will help by purchasing the bumper sticker that says "We are not stuck with the Freedom Tower" and sending it to Mr. Ward and say "I just thought you might wanna put this on your car" lol it could work.
I Just read this comment on the NYTimes site on an page regarding the PA questioning saying-
"Remember the Saying Be careful for what you wish for because you just might get it? funny b/c i dont ever remember any 1 asking for the Freedom Tower and there getting it anyways?!New York has defied everything from its maze of under the city lines that keep the city alive to building when space is needed and expanding the shoreline and we cant rebuild 2 Towers?" We need a better response than the FT.

Even though i wasn't one of those people that had residents in the towers,i am one of those people that think there should be another wtc for everyone to enjoy. This is could be a start of something new. the towers could be more indestuctable and be more aware with cameras in and outside the buildings with one on every side. This could prevent another freak accident and people could be more prepared for something that might happen again. The memory of the towers should not end!!!!
This is our country! Why are we letting such a small group of people make such a large decision for the whole country. I have seen the proposed plans to build back the towers bigger & stronger than before. I think they are the best plans I have seen so far for the WTC site. The freedom tower is not very impressive. The WTC site is more than 16 acres it is still not late to build these landmarks & symbols of America back where they belong.

Scott- The Director's answer neither surprises nor disturbs us. We are supremely confident that adopting Twin Towers II will save money and save time. We believe Mr. Ward will be pleasantly surprised when he looks into it. Since what we are endorsing does not require going back to scratch, the remarks did not specifically address the merits of this plan. We believe that it will become clear that not only is this the most honorable solution, it is also the most prudent solution. Only when the generalities stop and the specifics are examined will this matter receive its due. And that is exactly what the TTA booklet is meant to achieve. Thank you for being so concerned.
I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THEM STANDING TALL AGAIN
This would be a symbolic effort to rebuild our great democracy -- please restore the twin towers. It would help our nation heal. This would also be a step toward Truth and Reconciliation; please re-investigate 9/11! The truth shall set you free. No more lies. No more war.
This is the only viable solution, in my opinion.

I don't believe that we should be living in a state of paranoia or fear that this could happen again. If it will, then it will regardless of whether or not we restore the buildings to their former splendor or create a gigantic concrete structure that looks horrible and instills a quiet air of hostility to the people that have to walk by it every day. Give us a building, or rather a pair of them, that we can be proud of as New Yorkers.
My Famly went through a tough year without my Father, who was in Iraq, and I feel bad for those who lost a family member in a war or 9/11. Good Luck to all!!!!!! =)
The Twin Towers were always a big part of my family's visits to NYC. They were absolutely amazing in their size and design.The new WTC plan is awful. It tries to please everyone and winds up making no one happy. The Freedom Tower is a pathetic compromise that will ruin the fabled Manhattan skyline. Please, DO NOT build it! The only solution is to bring back the Twin Towers, but taller and stronger than the originals. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The New York skyline, and the city in general would be far better off without the "Fear Tower" serving as both a massive white flag in the face of our enemies and as an eyesore that does no justice to what this great city is really all about. I honestly cannot express more support in only a few words....please, PLEASE help to get the towers rebuilt. New York City and America as well will be better off for it.
I was ten when the twin towers fell that day. I along with america grieved for the families and the victims. This new plan "The Freedom Tower" does not recognize their bravery. I believe if the New Twin Towers would rise up from the ashes. It would show not only America but the world that we are stronger than anyone expected us to be.
I'm so angry about what is happening there. I didn't know about the towers until 9/11. i was only 6. i want them back. i pray that president-elect obama realizes it. i think he will. if anybody is reading this and hasn't signed, sign the petition. take a stand. let america rise again!
I have always wanted to see the towers rebuilt. they are an international symbol of America and what we stand for. Why would we let terrorists take this away from us? When Europe was bombed during WWII they rebuilt many of the buildings exactly as they were. they didnt come up with new designs, they rebuilt. We need to see these towers rise again! Americans everywhere feel the same. Our tax dollars are helping to fund the construction, what better memorial is there than to see the towers rise?
Enough time and energy has been wasted in a plan that does not meet the country's needs! The Twin Towers should be brought back for the sake of our freedom, honor and national integrity!
If it is indeed time for change then stand for America and rebuild The World Trade Center to at least the same size if not taller!
