Every day new Twin Towers are not there or are not under construction is like a knife in me. The Twins were the most powerful symbols to ever exist to me and thousands of others. The pain that resides in me because of their absence and the failure to rebuild is great. That is why you must succeed. I feel Gov. Paterson is the key. Get a booklet to him and press him and everyone else who you send it out too. Rebuilding the Twins is whether or not America is giving up. It's THAT important.

Im a british citizen who has always dreamt of coming to New York. I felt the original towers were an incredibly powerful symbol of america and no matter where you see New York post 9/11, film, television, photographs, etc. It always looks that little bit emptier without those beautiful towers. I think it would be a bold statement to the terrorists to rebuild. You can knock us down, but we'll get right back on up!

What better way to remember those we lost on 9/11 than to rebuild the towers, a few stories higher and with modern safety features. The people lost on 9/11 were contributing to our American way of life. I think they would've wanted us to send the message that America will not be bullied by cave-dwelling cowards. Also, when it comes to rebuilding the TV antenna on tower 1, borrow an idea from the cell phone companies: disguise it as a large flagpole with a massive American flag! USA!

Rebuilding the Twin Towers is, in the opinion of many, the best way to honor those who perished on 9/11. It is also my belief that rebuilding the Twin Towers would illustrate to Americans and the world that we will not capitulate to crazy terrorists who seek our destruction. I personally loved the Twin Towers; they were unique and symbolic. Terrorists reconfigued the Manhattan skyline on 9/11; by rebuilding the Towers, we can change it back.

I am completely for rebuilding the twin towers. I was beginning to think that the freedom tower was the only option for rebuilding the WTC site,and that I had no chioce but to like it. Thank God its not too late to ditch that ugly monstrousity called "Freedom Tower". I KNOW that this plan will go through.Keep fighting for this beautiful design.

Rebuild! The "freedom tower", with it's Orwellian name and graceless form, is an insult. Bring back the #1 most recognizable piece of architecture in the US!

I'm all for rebuilding the Twin Towers, bigger, better, and stronger, as a poke in the eye to the world for hating us, and as a truly befitting memorial for all those that died in such a cowardly attack.

The beauty and the majesty of the original Twin Towers will never be forgotten in my mind. My only regret is that I took those Iconic Towers for granted because I thought that they would always be there.They symbolised the strength and the power of our nation in a figurative and a literal manner.The Towers should be rebuilt bigger, better and stronger than before with memorials to respect the fallen victims of 9-11 to show they did not die in vain. Restore the NY skyline to its original stature.

I watched the competition for a new building and could not believe that rebuilding the twin towers was not seriously considered. Two of my sons have fought in the war against terror and we all agree that to rebuild stronger but outwardly the same would be a small victory in this war.

Hi,i visited Ground Zero for the first time a few weeks back and it struck me how much those towers meant to everybody in new york and the people who worked in them. You see them in nearly every New York based media item dated pre-2001 and they were a part of new york life and a world icon. The towers must be re-built to say to the terrorists that you can knock us down but we'll just keep getting back up. That will deliver a true message that we won't be scared into hiding and New York is back

We should rebuild the towers bigger and better than they were. I don't know why this is even an issue.
Put them back where the are supposed to be. do it now! They should already be going up, just like the Pentagon.

I have loved these buildings for longer than I can remember. They were in my childhood books, the movies, and the magazines. They were the exclamation point at the end of a wonderful New York. There to welcome you when you arrived, and to bid you farewell when you left.

I was 10 when they were stolen from us. You cannot replace the lives lost in 2001, or in 1993. But you can still replace these magnificent buildings. What's happening is a shame.

These two towers were iconic to New York, and to America. They stood, rising above all else, to welcome and to represent. The towers may have fallen on that fateful day, September 11, 2001, but the spirit of what they represented is alive and well in all of us today. It is time to rebuild the towers. It's time to bring back America.

I would love to see the view on Manhattan what I should see if nothing happend. I want it back! I don't like building like Freedom Towers. It doesn't say anything to me.

Rebuild better than ever!!

The initial fall of the towers did not effect me as others. When I learned NYC was not going to rebuild I was shocked. As a CAD operator I thought we should rebuild, even connect the two future towers. To see that would move the world.

I think that we all must support this progect, because The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center is a national symbol of America, of New York, and World Trade.
I was in NY, I saw Ground Zero, and I know, that WE MUST REBUILD THIS SYMBOL of the city of New York!

The strongest statement we can make, not just as New Yorkers, but as Americans is to erect two more towers. it wont be new york without the towers it would be like destroying the eiffel tower and building some new building paris wouldnt be the same neither would new york

The Twin Towers represented New York and America. The most recognizable buildings in the world need to be rebuilt. Like Donald Trump said, "We can not let the terrorists win," we need to take action to show the world America can not be defeated in any way.

This sad chapter in American history can not be finalized until the towers again stand tall.

When the Twin Towers were bombed in 1993 it was a sad day. When the Twin Towers were destroyed in 2001 that was a very sad day but we can't let that happen again because no planes should fly over Manhatten. Twin Towers should be rebuilt with more steel NOT THE FREEDOM TOWER!!!!!!!!

The twin towers should be rebuilt. Why should we have to settle for the Freedom Tower. Something was taken away from us by terrorists, it should be placed back to show them that we will not let them take anything away from our Country. My name is Epi, I'm from the Philippines. I totally the support the idea of TT2. While the Freedom, "Fear"om Tower is still delayed, this is our chance to bring New York's beauty back. I currently live in U.S right now, and a U.S Citizen, but me and my family is from the Philippines, we moved here in 2000 about a year before the attack.

I'm from Seattle Wa. I strongly support rebuilding the Twin Towers. Building the Freedom Tower (or Fear Tower) is like surrendering to the terrorists. The Twin Towers were an asset to the New York skyline and many people came and admired the Twin Towers. To the Port Authority and Larry Silverstein, have the courage and the will to change course and do the right thing before it's too late. As Franklin Deleno Roosevelt once said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself".

I HATE the Fraud Tower and if I have to hear that name ever again im gonna go insane! We must rebuild or it will be proof America is decaying and our leaders have failed us.

These towers were not only the icon of New York, not rebuilding them would give those who destroyed them the satisfaction that they won. They need to be rebuilt, just as they were, a little taller, a little stronger, and only then will the biggest scar in this nation's history be healed.
