Manhattan's skyline means nothing anymore, and building that new tower will not change that. please re-build the twin towers and make New York look like New York again. do it before it's too late.

This is a great plan because we need to make New York New York again. Right now, the NYC skyline remains a victory for al - Queda. We need our buildings back. Taller, stronger, and safer, the new twin towers would defy terrorism against our nation. Donald Trump is right, the Freedom Tower is nothing compared to this. Do we really want something in our American city that does'nt even resemble New York, or do we want a legendary landmark to be born again? Bring our towers back!

That horrible Freedom Tower design is a sorry replacement for our Towers. We would be sending those responsible for that day a big F.U. by rebuilding the WTC as it was.

The Twin Towers stood as an expression of American Will. Now, other countries build bigger and better. If we are to be America, we must lead the world in not only justice, opportunity, and mercy, but also in our reaction to events like September 11, 2001. I visited the old towers three times in my 32 years. I was very sad when my favorite city decided to shirk the potencial for greatness for the calamity of the Freedom Tower. Nobody REALLY wants this piece of tripe! Rebuild! Rebuild those towers!

I am a veteran Firefighter from Florida. The Towers have always fascinated me. In fact when I was a child, I did a report on NYC and the Towers were part of my diarama. Speaking on behalf of my fellow firefighters, we watched what happened that day and saw our brothers killed. NOTHING says we are stronger than evil more than the rebirth of the Towers.

The Video of the Twins Towers touch me a lot.The best thing to do is to stand up and says ''Excuse me,terrorists of piece of you know,you destroy our skycrapers and killed one of our brothers.''I come from Montreal and im a kid of twelve years old and my dream is to come to New York City to see this site and i hope they will not do this freedom crap they took out from ''Futurama''! New Twin Towers for the win. The Freedom Tower is stupid and an embarrassment

I was in 12th grade when 9/11 happened and I always wondered whether these towers would be rebuilt. The plans for the Freedom Tower are an embarrassment. Its smaller then the original towers and now its far behind schedule and massively over budget. I believe rebuilding to Twin Towers, taller then before and much safer, would make America appear as a more determined people. "You can knock us down, but we will stand taller."

It would be awesome to see the two tallest towers in the world standing high above again.

I agree that the twin towers should be rebuilt and we definitly should not just give up or give in. I promise to do anything in my power to get as much people as possible to sign this petition and restore the original skyline, not only of new york, but of america. everyone agrees with you not only in america but in the world. why isnt it being built already? the freedom tower should be out of the picture because nothing could replace the twin towers except the twin towers themselves.

i would love for the twin towers to be re-built i would love to see them above evry other building.I was in the third grade when the towers were destroyed so i dont remember much, and never really paid attention to them or knew they exsited. i think it would be great if they were rebuilt to commemorate the old towers.

The "freedom" tower is anything but what its name suggests. With its horrific concrete base built out of FEAR, it shows America's inability to return to its old state of mind.

What better way to show that we truly can return than to rebuild what we lost as a symbolic act to show we will both never forget, and that we will never submit to fear.

I live in the UK, and if honest I never felt the impact of that awful day nor did I know of these beautiful buildings that once stood high in NY. Last year, I saw a dedication to 9/11 on TV and that was the first time I really knew the full scale of the terror attacks, I know,must have been on another planet. Then I realised how much these buildings stood for I also recalled how many movies I had seen the towers in over the years. I feel denied of visiting the towers and want to see them rebuilt.

I used to live in Manhattan for 3 years from 1994-1997. i was born in 1992. the last time I revisted the REAL WTC Twin Towers was in December 2000, and I want to revist the complex standing ontop the Twin towers II! not a necropolis like "Freedom Tower". The freedom tower makes me sick to my stomach, I cannot stand to look at the New York skyline without the twin towers for any longer. The design for the new world trade center does not present the right image. Resilience, determination, and hope are things that need to be portrayed in the new buildings and there is no better way than to rebuild bigger and better. The towers need to rise again as a symbol of a nations healing and as a memorial to those who lost their lives for their countrymen.

Just imagine in your mind...The Twin Towers rising up the Two Towers rising up in the NY skyline. The spirits of Ny'ers and Americans and citizens of the world alike watching it get bigger, better, and safer day by day. hi everyone im from Canada i really want those towers rebuilt because new york just isnt the same without them they rebuilt the pentagon so they should rebuild the wtc not the ugly freedom tower!!!!!!!!!!!! the world trade center has been apart of lower manhattan's history since the mid 60's, people have loved them and their design! the mayor of manhattan must consider to rebuild the towers again!!

They took them away - courage, defiance and pride says "we'll put them back up"

I'm a 22 yr old college student majoring in History. The Freedom Tower is a symbolic defeat of our spirit. In 2000, I had the privilege to stand atop the Trade Center. It was a moment I cherish.

9/11 was a terrible attack upon our identity/values. For that attack to succeed, we must concede; WE MUST NOT!

As a resident of New Orleans,I understand destruction;it challenges our spirit. 9/11 changed us because WE LET IT! Stop the FEAR TOWER! We can't allow them to win, REBUILD THOSE TOWERS! We MUST NOT BACK DOWN OR GIVE IN!

Please rebuild the twin towers. After visiting New York recently, the skyline just feels empty without them and not as magnificent.

I think not rebuilding the towers is a joke. They made the city. New York is tough and grimy. A bunch of pointy shiny structures in the middle of downtown just don't fit in with the architecture or feel of the city. When I look at pictures of the city before 9/11 I just want to cry that it'll never be like that again.

The Twin Towers must stand again in honor of the spirit and preserverence of our heroes. Then the survivors, families, and the world can see our resolve.

Considering the plans for the new tower that is going to be erected, an inelegant and unattractive structure, it should be obvious to all that rebuilding the Twin Towers precisely the way they were (with certain safety upgrades, of course), both towers reaching high into the New York City sky line as the best refutation for the hatred, mindset and philosophies of those who took them down in the first place.

Any plan other than construction of the new and improved Twin Towers falls short of the expectations of millions of Americans. The iconic symbolism behind building these towers bigger and taller than ever can be matched by no other design, we need to make a statement against those who oppose our freedom.
