I, like most people never got to see the World Trade Center before 9/11, I believe we should rebuild the World Trade Center complex similar to what it once was. The Twins need to be rebuilt so the NYC skyline can look like it used to.
I'm not sure if this is still valid or not, but I guess that people like me will keep on dreaming. I have always been inspired by the Twin Towers, by their architecture and their beauty - that almost innocent, but immortal beauty, which only simple shapes can have. I used to consider those two buildings the pinnacle of the architecture of our days. An architectural heritage to the world, like the pyramids in Egypt from another era.
I'd love to see the Twin Towers rise again, like a phoenix bird who rises again from its own ashes to defy death and destruction - as a symbol of immortality.
Let the Twin Towers rise again like two phoenix birds who defy destruction, to convey the message of the immortality of our civilization.
I think the towers should be rebuilt.
I was born 6 Months after 9/11. I kinda missed out on seeing them. I want nothing more but to witness the Twin Towers again. If we don't rebuild them we are letting the terrorists win and we can be defeated. The World has gotten worse as we know it ever since 9/11 happened and the Twin Towers NEED to be restored. Without them, there's no hope. It may take some time but I have faith they will be rebuilt and I will help ensure that happens.
It would be great for me to visit New York and the twin towers. When they collapsed I was 5 years old. I remember how long these terrible images were shown on TV.
New WTC complex as if from another world. It suits Dubai more than New York. Therefore, I only for the restoration of the twin towers!
I fully believe the one way to unite the country is to rebuild. I’m all about bringing the twins back and I’ll do anything to help.
I want the return of twin towers ????????❤
The Twin Towers were the most remarkable icon of New York. The new World Trade Center looks like it’s from another world. The new building doesn’t fit in comparison with the rest of the city. Give the people what they want. Rebuild the Twin Towers. We will never forget, even the people from other countries.
I was only two years old on the day of 9/11, and believe it or not, I can remember seeing it on tv that day. I had always been in awe at the towers, but it was not until I was in High School I did a report on them. I had to study the whole World Trade Center Complex and that is when I fell in love with the towers. It's so sad how much people overlook about them! They were a city within a city. New York seemed to be a much happier place when they were around. I am so in love with the towers that I visit the St.Louis airport terminal, which was designed by the same architech who designed the towers. Many people say that the terminal has a similar feel to the lobby of the original towers. I was so awe struck by that. We need the towers back!
I was born 3 months after 9/11, and I never was never able to witness the beautiful towers that once rose so gallantly above the rest of Lower Manhattan. I am very interested in the Towers, and I would love to see their presence again in a new way. I want to see a similar sight that everyone in this world once saw when they visited this great country. The towers were proud symbols of our great country. If we can rebuild a similar look that New York once had, we can show the world that our country is still strong. I would love to to see two towering twins in the skyline again. If it's possible, please listen to all of those who want to see this become reality.
Yes, I was born in 2001, precisely in February, when they still shone high in the sky. But I was obviously too small to see them, this does not mean to have forgotten them. In fact I've always grown up remembering them and seeing them as an icon of the New York skyline. I know it will seem strange, but it is one of my greatest desires, and I do not think to speak only in my name, that of being able to admire them in person, huge, side by side, built as only the American skyscrapers can be. In a word "impressive".
I hope with all my heart and soul that my dream is realized.
I apologize if my English is not one of the best.
Being born in 2004 I think I can speak to all born after 2001, The twin towers were what made New York New York. Thousands and practically millions of people around the world would come to see the towers. They were what defined us as Americans. It’s sad to know that We younger generations where robbed of that majestic sight. Now I look at the freedom tower and feel disappointed. It’s sad looking and just not the WORLD TRADE CENTER. Yes it may be taller but how are you gonna compare 1 tower to 2? The freedom tower was built and it just looks sad all the time. A constant stab reminding you of what happened. So please with a desperate cry, do what is right and rebuild the twin towers! Make New York great again!
I feel proud signing this petition and being a part of like-minded people. The Twin Towers had their own brilliance, which cannot be compared to nothing. Rebuild The World Trade Center. Restore the soul of NY.
I was too young to remember when the towers fell down in 2001. When I learned about what New York used to be with the Twin Towers, I was stunned. Now as a young adult, I kind of wish the towers were still standing as I view them as beautiful landmarks that fulfill the NYC skyline. I just wish the 9/11 attacks never happened cause now I have to live in this new reality which sucks. The current 1WTC sucks as it only covers parts of that gap. It doesn't feel even feel the same. I believe a solution to that is to build a second twin tower at the 2WTC but who knows. Twin Towers II would have been a perfect solution but it was those corporate sums that wanted their way and didn't want to listen to the voices. I hope to see these towers in some way someday.
I have always been in loved of the twin towers. I always thought the twin towers, symbol of USA must to be re-built! The re-built would be a sign of love for the country and for all those who lost their life the 9/11.
It would be a dream to come in NY one day and seeing them!
I was born after 9/11 happened (December, 2001) so I haven’t actually had a chance to see the twin towers in real life. But, whenever I am online doing research and I see the buildings, I cry a bit because they are not there anymore and I wouldn’t be able to experience seeing them. They are the most amazing looking buildings America has by far ever had. I just have a love for the design the buildings had, with all of the columns rising all the way to the top of the building and all around them on the outside, they were the best designed ever yet. I know 99% of Americans would love to see them back, but the government thinks that we would be terrified and reminded of 9/11. If we don’t rebuild them, it just shows that the terrorists won...
I was born in a post-9/11 world, in 2002. The American spirit is just not the same. as many have stated, the twin towers were a beacon of Freedom. One world trade center is a fraud and shows the terrorists that they won. If one of the planes succeeded in hitting the white-house, we wouldn't have built a smaller and weaker white-house. We need the towers to be rebuilt to prove America's strength once again.
The more that time passes since 911, the more I miss our Towers and fully support the call to rebuild them. Even though the Freedom Tower is visually appealing, it lacks something...and that is the heart of America. One just has to glance at the skyline and he or she knows that it just does not feel right...something is missing. We will never feel complete or whole without our Towers in that skyline!
I was born just 2 months before the horrible tragedy of 9/11. Since I was little, I've always had a fascination with the old towers, but I have just recently begun to recognize their powerful influence over America. Those towers stood for something. They stood for American culture and way of life. They stood for American strength. They stood as a "Welcome home" to all hard-working contributing immigrants who came here. They stood for a proud, prosperous, free nation. They were (in my opinion) the greatest symbol of America. Even the flag, which I also hold near and dear to my heart, does not even come close to how powerful the image of these towers is. That is why it is my life goal to rebuild them. You WILL see these towers again someday.
I always draw out the twin towers when I was much younger, I'm now 27 years young. The point I'm trying to make is I don't know too much about architecture etc, but "The World Trade Center" made New York City skyline almost as if you we're coming to the city and they were welcoming you. Please! Please! Please rebuild the Twin Towers. That's the true definition of make America great again. P.S. I've never seen the old ones in person! Since the USA on lockdown if you were to make the twin towers again at least you don't have to worry about terrorisom anymore.
I remember seeing the towers out my back deck every day as a kid, teenager, adult. It is DISGUSTING to see them gone this many years on. We need them rebuilt and the 10047/10048 zip codes restored. Sad to see when the USA is defaced we dont undo the damage. What is this? Jahr Null High Castle?
I was born in 1999 but didn't see them really because i was too young, i've never had any chance to visit it and only recently started thinking about it. While NY has other things the twin towers really stood up. at least make a twin of the freedom tower or rebuild the twin towers. They looked very much like something of 20th century and I'm pretty sure a lot of people from all over the world would visit NY just to see the new twin towers!
The Twin Towers were the most impressive pieces of architecture of the 20th century. I never got the chance to ever visit them in person. I finally made it to New York nine years too late. It sure seems to me though, that rebuilding the same two towers is really the only way for us to really give the middle finger to the motherfuckers responsible for 9/11....

I was 25 when the towers fell. Watched the day unfold live on TV, like so many others. The NYC skyline feels empty without the towers. It's as if the soul of NYC was ripped away. Indeed, America's soul. The towers were not just a symbol of NYC, but a symbol of America. I can only liken the symbolism to the pyramids in Egypt. Imagine Egypt without the great pyramids. That's NYC, that's America without the towers. They certainly don't have to be in the same general area as the originals, but they should be built. America needs it's identity back. Our pride back. I haven't been to NYC in a long time for pleasure, but would certainly return often if the towers were rebuilt just to witness them.
We need the twin towers back to show that we have only became stronger! Twin towers back!!!
How does one reply but to say BRING THE TOWERS BACK. When I think of NEW YORK CITY my mind goes directly to the TWIN TOWERS and the skyline I'm so used to seeing. It seems naked without the towers. Most people remember the Twin Towers more then any other building. PRESIDENT TRUMP HELP BRING BACK THE TWIN TOWERS. We need this. It's what New Yorkers want. It's what America Needs.
Rebuilding the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center is something that should have been done in the first place. Not only would it have restored the skyline of New York City, it would have also been a much bolder message to send about America's strength and resilience. (Ironically in a MUCH more powerful manner than One World Trade Center) For whatever reason that has not happened. Some might say rebuilding the Twin Towers would be in poor taste, but for me and the rest of the people who signed this petition, it's the perfect way to honor those who died on 9/11. With modernized and stronger Twin Towers being the perfect memorial.
Building the towers back in the skyline would make a huge statement of american pride and strength. I say if we cant get Port Authority to do it we take this fight to the white house and to the true new yorker in the white house who can do something about it.
I want our towers back. America needs it. The people of the United States need it. Don’t give Al Queda the pleasure. BRING THEM BACK!
New York isn't New York without them.
Today is the 17th anniversary of the destruction of the towers and they need to be rebuilt as soon as possible to restore the skyline. They only lasted less than 30 years and the memorial fountains on the footprints of the towers are a waste of land space. Rebuilding the towers as an addition to One World Trade Center will bring jobs and tourism back to lower Manhattan and show that our country can fight back to the terrorists. A steel façade should also be added to One World Trade Center to resemble the classic twin towers. The new towers should still have a memorial in front to commemorate the lives lost in the attacks 17 years ago. Dismantle the memorial pools, rebuild the towers there, and move the victims' names somewhere else.
I always loved the world trade center and i would love to see them again one day. The freedom tower is fine and all, but it doesn't have the same appeal as the WTC, and Windows of the World was awesome getting to look at the view of NYC while eating good food. Also in Hoboken looking at the Twin Towers were way cooler than the new building.
The Twin Towers would be symbolic for everyone and I would want to see these towers be rebuilt again because it would show that no matter what comes into Americas path we will all ways overcome it.
