The Twin Towers meant and still mean alot to me. It would be irresponsible not to rebuild them. I'd even go for a job in them if they put them back.

The Twin Towers were AMAZING! The battered skyline is not acceptable. The politicians need to listen to us. I saw Ken Gardner's plan and it is the proper way to honor those who were lost. and in my opinion nothing looked cooler than those Twin Towers in the Skyline at Night!

The only clear message to our enemies is to REBUILD the towers and ADD about 10 floors to them. That is a clear "in your face" message that Americans understand.

What can mankind say that has not been said, but rebuilding the twin towers is a dream and a wish of every peace and freedom loving human! Please America give us back history, it was a dream of mine to visit the twin towers so i still want to do so cause the towers will never die! I am so not over this. Hopefully New-York will become stronger then ever and I'am sure it will do so.
Peace and love to all the New-York citizens.

The single greatest monument to the victims of that tragic day would be the rebuilding of the twin towers. Bigger, better and stronger. The terrorists try to destroy our way of life. Lets show them that they can't do that. If they knock us down, we'll get right back up.Oorah!

Having lived in New York from over 20 years and seeing the Twin Towers as I commuted around the city everyday, I am finding it totally unfathomable that we Americans would allow terrorists to destroy our country without rebuilding it at least the same if not larger.

Our country is going down the drain lately. The economy is going, gas prices are killing us, and there's more political corruption than ever. We need the towers to be rebuilt to symbolize that there is hope for our country. That freedom still reigns.

My wife was in the towers when the first plane struck and thankfully made it out. We both feel very strongly about the towers being rebuilt, anything less would be a victory for 19 individuals and would basically be a 1700 ft white flag muddying our once beautiful skyline.

The World Trade Center should be built in the original image and updated to beyond 21st Century Building Standards with the structural design to survive any type of disaster as was the original towers designed. (The original structure was designed to survive a collision of a 747.)

We must send a message to the World that we are united in our vision for World Trade and Peace as the original towers symbolized. The new towers should be as tall or taller than the original towers to show our resolve.

We would love to support the efforts put forth by this great organization to rebuild the Twin Towers. We would love to pass out cards or brochures to help.

We are based in Phoenix, AZ and have our own grassroots efforts to try and help those who serve our country. We have rebuilt a Fire Truck in remembrance of 911. www.fireupfreedom.com. We let the communities know we have not forgotten about those who have suffered.

Please visit our website and let us know if we can help.

I'm Canadian but I lived in the United States for 8 years before returning home two years ago. I lived in New Hampshire when the towers fell. I think it's a great idea to rebuild them, to show that Americans are not afraid. But I do think it might be a little creepy, and that no one would want to work there.

TTA Note: Happily, many more people would be inspired and thrilled to have the chance...

Yes, we need our twin towers back...but can't we do better than the design proposed here?

TTA Note: The beauty of the Twin Towers II plan is that it is structurally ready to build and to surpass the current site plan. That is the most critical element, since this is nothing but a political problem and a political solution is only possible because there is a full-fledged plan ready to construct that would meet the most important imperative: restoring the skyline. The cosmetics of the design are open and responsive to public opinion -- that is not something that would create delay.

I had the privilege of visiting New York in early 2006 and so many New Yorkers in their homes and places of business had posters or framed photographs on their walls of the New York skyline WITH the Twin Towers in all their beauty. Rebuilding them is not to disrespect those who have passed, but to help us remember what they unwittingly died for - freedom. I should very much like to pay my respects again when next I visit New York, not to a hole in the ground, but to the rebuilt Twin Towers.

we get the towers: we're showing we are better than them and we will have a lot of jobs. we build Freedom towers: we are showing that we are wimps and that we have no strength and we'll look at 3 shiny, futuristic towers that show we're BIG WIMPS.

To rebuild the towers in their original outward design would be a more meaningful statement than a new design which would be a forever monument to the extremists of the 7th century religion.

The Twin Towers were a major landmark in the world of today and it would be a shame to admit defeat and show the terrorists that we cannot repair what they thought they undid! Let us unite as people and americans and REBUIILD the Pride of America and New York City's Skyline!!!

I strongly believe that we should rebuild the World Trade Center towers. I've always wanted to see the towers up close and never had the chance too. The towers were beautiful and I think America needs to build the original back up as a way to show foreign countries that we are strong people.

Recently our band took a trip to New York City to perform at carnegie hall. When i was there i was truly amazed by New York City. It was beautiful and amazing! But something was missing when i was there, and it was the Twin Towers. When you search for pictures of New York City the first thing you see is the Trade Centers! They are a symbol of NYC. I strongly believe that there would be no better way to show our strenghth then to rebuild them. PLEASE Restore the New York City skyline!

To build a memorial instead of rebuilding the towers is a ridiculous idea. A memorial serves no purpose except to make the terrorists and liberals feel good about themselves.

Nothing fits as good to the skyline of NY as the twin towers did. They would be memorial, financial heart and the center of New York in one. They would be a national monument like washington monument or the lincoln memorial. The current plan which contains the footprints of the twintowers look like a grave and does not fit in such a lively and progressive city like New York. The new twintowers would symbolize strength rises like a phoenix!

A tragedy can be viewed as great strength. When we turn around and rebuild the skyline with what was meant to be in a greater way. It will be viewed as a constant reminder that we should strive to be stronger and better always. Our New York residents and their families suffered a loss insurmountable to the emotions that run deep in their hearts.
Lets make "The New Towers" a symbol for "The Heart of our country"

The twin towers defined the NY skyline. No other option therefore would symbolize New York's recovery than the restoration of that skyline. To do anything else not only, in my opinion belittles the memory of everyone lost that day but also denies NY and the US the ability to make the statement to the world, "We're back."

A building is beautiful because of what it is. Our 'Twin Towers' memorial shouldn't be a useless reminder of the power that our nation's enemies have over us. The only proper memorial would be buildings that would serve exactly the same purpose as the buildings that were destroyed, only better. Build them taller and stronger, if anything, but rebuild them as they were before.
