The Statue of Liberty is better-known than the twin towers for New York State. However. the Twin Towers are still an icon and a lot went on in that building. Where are those jobs, now? Restore the buildings, and it restores that many jobs. Restore the buildings, and it restores a major landmark. Restore the buildings – this is our country, and we will show whoever that this is OUR country, and we CAN re-build ourselves over and over and over again.
New York just isn’t New York without the towers and I can’t believe we haven’t rebuilt them yet. The victims would want us to do this. I think we need to show terrorists that even though they took them away, we can put them right back up again, like an animal that can grow back whatever you cut off. Maybe someday they will give up, knowing that no matter what they do, we will always grow back.

The only fitting memorial to all the innocent lives lost on 9-11 would be to rebuild the twin towers as they were – a bit stronger; a bit taller, sure, but, as they were on 9-10-01.
