The towers need to be rebuilt to show the world that we will not be intimidated by anyone. They should also be a memorial to those who died there that terrible day so that we never forget. It would show those who want to destroy anything in this country that we will not be deterred from having what we want in our own land! Those towers did not fall down from neglect they fell because of a design flaw that no one would ever have thought would happen. We can and must correct it!!!!!
It’s nice to know that there are many Americans and people worldwide who believe as I do that the best way to honor those who tragically perished in the WTC on 911 and to pay tribute to their families, friends, and loved ones and to honor our great nation and all nations who are proponents of freedom and democracy is to rebuild the twin towers. Additionally (and less importantly), the future design of the so-called freedom towers is completely unoriginal and utterly hideous in appearence.
Rebuild the towers and fit one of them with 16, 50 caliber machine guns, 4 facing each direction and men on stand by 24/7. Its a populated city, i know but the casualties will be much less then the mental stress of another attack which could never be counted out because of the winners we have in government office.
A building is beautiful because of what it is. Our ‘Twin Towers’ memorial shouldn’t be a useless reminder of the power that our nation’s enemies have over us. The only proper memorial would be buildings that would serve exactly the same purpose as the buildings that were destroyed, only better. Build them taller and stronger, if anything, but rebuild them as they were before.
To build a memorial instead of rebuilding the towers is a ridiculous idea. A memorial serves no purpose except to make the terrorists and liberals feel good about themselves.

Recently our band took a trip to New York City to perform at carnegie hall. When i was there i was truly amazed by New York City. It was beautiful and amazing! But something was missing when i was there,and it was the Twin Towers. When you search for pictures of New York City the first thing you see is the Trade Centers! They are a symbol of NYC. I strongly believe that there would be no better way to show our strenghth then to rebuild them. PLEASE Restore the New York City skyline!

I strongly believe that we should rebuild the World Trade Center towers. I’ve always wanted to see the towers up close and never had the chance too. The towers were beautiful and I think America needs to build the original back up as a way to show foreign countries that we are strong people.
The Twin Towers were a major landmark in the world of today and it would be a shame to admit defeat and show the terrorists that we cannot repair what they thought they undid! Let us unite as people and americans and REBUIILD the Pride of America and New York City’s Skyline!!!
To rebuild the towers in their original outward design would be a more meaningful statement than a new design which would be a forever monument to the extremists of the 7th century religion.
We would love to support the efforts put forth by this great organization to rebuild the Twin Towers. We would love to pass out cards or brochures to help.

Our country is going down the drain lately. The economy is going, gas prices are killing us, and there’s more political corruption than ever. We need the towers to be rebuilt to symbolize that there is hope for our country. That freedom still reigns.
Having lived in New York from over 20 years and seeing the Twin Towers as I commuted around the city everyday, I am finding it totally unfathomable that we Americans would allow terrorists to destroy our country without rebuilding it at least the same if not larger.
The only clear message to our enemies is to REBUILD the towers and ADD about 10 floors to them. That is a clear “in your face” message that Americans understand.
The Twin Towers were AMAZING! The battered skyline is not acceptable. The politicians need to listen to us. I saw Ken Gardner’s plan and it is the proper way to honor those who were lost. and in my opinion nothing looked cooler than those Twin Towers in the Skyline at Night!
The WTC towers were one of the most awe inspiring achievements of modern day engineering the world has ever seen. As such it is unsurprising that they were targeted by the cowards of 9/11 in a very symbolic message meant to say that even our greatest minds were inadequate to defeat them and send a significant blow to the morale of the country. It is only continuing to aid the enemy by not rebuilding them as it can be said they see it as an acceptance of their message. Now is the time to do it.
The Twin Towers meant so much to me as an American citizen. After looking closely at the other WTC plan that has been proposed, I feel there is no comparison. This plan satisfies so many more of the core elements – the emotional, financial, historical, and visual elements would all remain intact, but with a positive eye on the future. Bravo. How else can I help?
I miss home. Now that this occured makes me miss it even more than before. I think it is in the best favor of those direct affected families to see a bigger better NEW YORK!!!

Does not matter what they do, we will overcome that is who we are, that is our moral character. the old English phrase keep a stiff upper comes to mind anything but rebuilding the Twin Towers would be admitting defeat. You used to be able to see the Towers from the high points of my hometown in NJ. I’d love to be able to see the Towers from there again someday!
