The World Trade Center Towers need to be restored! We need to let the world know that we are not afraid! We will rebuild those towers as if they were never gone! Please let the New York City skyline be what it was once again!
To rebuild anything less than a new set of Twins will be to state to all human-kind our collective loss of American spirit & fortitude & a symbolic show of defeat by all Americans.
No longer will pride be associated with that unmistakably beautiful skyline, rather just a bleak and empty pain. Forever.
I like the new WTC Twin Towers. They should stop construction of the Freedom Tower and cancel it so they can switch over to building WTC2 and start construction on that. That new plan is much better. Rebuild WTC the way it was with that new design. New York needs the Twin Towers to return!

Commerce needs to be returned to New York City. We can’t allow the roaches of the world to destroy us economically. REBUILD! Take your pick of all our “friendly” muslim countries to send the bill to. WHAT A SITE! to see those two beautiful buildings when i was coming into the greatest city in the world! i only lived in new york a short time,and most of my family still do. None were hurt! THANK GOD! I’m a commercial truck driver and delivering at the trade centers or WHEREVER in new york, was always gave me butterflies. you know why? you ask? because I was so excited to see the WORLD TRADE CENTER and all those beautiful people that made NEW YORK WHAT IT IS TODAY!!
hey if they do ever build them back they should put on a plaque on one of the towers saying ( when a phoenix dies it will rise again from its ashes) that would be a good idea . u know what someone needs to complain saying ” WE WANT THE TWIN TOWERS BACK, GIVE THE PPL WAT THEY WANT !” someone seriously needs to say something. i never got to see those towers, to see them up again would make my wish come true

Replacing the WTC with a similar design is the only truly American thing to do!!! The originals were more than just a group of buildings. They were known worldwide as the biggest landmark, of the greatest city, and nation, in the world! Lets show those terrorist chumps what we’re made of! Long live America!
While I don’t necessarily think the new design is abhorrent, it would make a terrific statement if the twin towers were rebuilt in all their glory. It says to those that mean us harm, “you knock us down, we get right back up!” In terms of healing, rebuilding the towers in the image of the originals will be a signal that those who died on 9/11 did not do so in vain, but rather, their passing was a moment that united the nation in a common goal of strength and courage in the face of evil.
Any plan other than construction of the new and improved Twin Towers falls short of the expectations of millions of Americans. The iconic symbolism behind building these towers bigger and taller than ever can be matched by no other design, we need to make a statement against those who oppose our freedom.
Considering the plans for the new tower that is going to be erected, an inelegant and unattractive structure, it should be obvious to all that rebuilding the Twin Towers precisely the way they were (with certain safety upgrades, of course), both towers reaching high into the New York City sky line as the best refutation for the hatred, mindset and philosophies of those who took them down in the first place.
The Twin Towers must stand again in honor of the spirit and preserverence of our heroes. Then the survivors, families, and the world can see our resolve.

The “freedom” tower is anything but what its name suggests. With its horrific concrete base built out of FEAR, it shows America’s inability to return to its old state of mind.
What better way to show that we truly can return than to rebuild what we lost as a symbolic act to show we will both never forget, and that we will never submit to fear.

I am a veteran Firefighter from Florida. The Towers have always fascinated me. In fact when I was a child, I did a report on NYC and the Towers were part of my diarama. Speaking on behalf of my fellow firefighters, we watched what happened that day and saw our brothers killed. NOTHING says we are stronger than evil more than the rebirth of the Towers.
The Twin Towers stood as an expression of American Will. Now, other countries build bigger and better. If we are to be America, we must lead the world in not only justice, opportunity, and mercy, but also in our reaction to events like September 11, 2001. I visited the old towers three times in my 32 years. I was very sad when my favorite city decided to shirk the potencial for greatness for the calamity of the Freedom Tower. Nobody REALLY wants this piece of tripe! Rebuild! Rebuild those towers!
