This is a great plan because we need to make New York New York again. Right now, the NYC skyline remains a victory for al – Queda. We need our buildings back. Taller, stronger, and safer, the new twin towers would defy terrorism against our nation. Donald Trump is right, the Freedom Tower is nothing compared to this. Do we really want something in our American city that does’nt even resemble New York, or do we want a legendary landmark to be born again? Bring our towers back!

I’m from Seattle Wa. I strongly support rebuilding the Twin Towers. Building the Freedom Tower (or Fear Tower) is like surrendering to the terrorists. The Twin Towers were an asset to the New York skyline and many people came and admired the Twin Towers. To the Port Authority and Larry Silverstein, have the courage and the will to change course and do the right thing before it’s too late. As Franklin Deleno Roosevelt once said, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”.

I was 10 when they were stolen from us. You cannot replace the lives lost in 2001, or in 1993. But you can still replace these magnificent buildings. What’s happening is a shame.

I watched the competition for a new building and could not believe that rebuilding the twin towers was not seriously considered. Two of my sons have fought in the war against terror and we all agree that to rebuild stronger but outwardly the same would be a small victory in this war.
The beauty and the majesty of the original Twin Towers will never be forgotten in my mind. My only regret is that I took those Iconic Towers for granted because I thought that they would always be there.They symbolised the strength and the power of our nation in a figurative and a literal manner.The Towers should be rebuilt bigger, better and stronger than before with memorials to respect the fallen victims of 9-11 to show they did not die in vain. Restore the NY skyline to its original stature.

It is also my belief that rebuilding the Twin Towers would illustrate to Americans and the world that we will not capitulate to crazy terrorists who seek our destruction. I personally loved the Twin Towers; they were unique and symbolic. Terrorists reconfigued the Manhattan skyline on 9/11; by rebuilding the Towers, we can change it back.
What better way to remember those we lost on 9/11 than to rebuild the towers, a few stories higher and with modern safety features. The people lost on 9/11 were contributing to our American way of life. I think they would’ve wanted us to send the message that America will not be bullied by cave-dwelling cowards. Also, when it comes to rebuilding the TV antenna on tower 1, borrow an idea from the cell phone companies: disguise it as a large flagpole with a massive American flag! USA!
Every day new Twin Towers are not there or are not under construction is like a knife in me. The Twins were the most powerful symbols to ever exist to me and thousands of others. The pain that resides in me because of their absence and the failure to rebuild is great. That is why you must succeed. I feel Gov. Paterson is the key. Get a booklet to him and press him and everyone else who you send it out too. Rebuilding the Twins is whether or not America is giving up. It’s THAT important.

I believe if the New Twin Towers would rise up from the ashes. It would show not only America but the world that we are stronger than anyone expected us to be.

We believe Mr. Ward will be pleasantly surprised when he looks into it. Since what we are endorsing does not require going back to scratch, the remarks did not specifically address the merits of this plan. We believe that it will become clear that not only is this the most honorable solution, it is also the most prudent solution. Only when the generalities stop and the specifics are examined will this matter receive its due. And that is exactly what the TTA booklet is meant to achieve. Thank you for being so concerned.
