The Twin Towers was what was right in America. Like the Statue of Liberty was to Freedom, the Twin Towers was to Finance. And yet both intertwine with the Freedom and Liberty that made America great, and shall be again. Yes, rebuild the Twin Towers!
The Twin Towers should be rebuilt exactly as they stood before 9/11. Our statement to the world should be we are strong and we will rebuild. Honor all the men and women taken from us that day, rebuild their final resting place as it was on their final day. A complete list of all (including their status) who perished should be listed on a memorial plaque next to the WTC Orb (ball) that needs to be brought back to its home. We should NEVER forget what happened that day nor try to erase it from history…
I am not happy with what I am seeing at ground zero. They say that the Freedom Tower is over 70 stories tall and the 9/11 memorial and museum is almost finished for the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. I was hoping to see the twin towers rise once again. It looks like the terrorists have permanently changed our skyline because of corrupt politicians. The freedom Tower is ugly and it would look stupit in the skyline. New York is very beautiful and I ges old too. The Freedom Tower looks like some building in Dubai! So please rebuild the Twin Towers. Give New York the old Skyline bake!!!

It is disgusting and selfish that the PA committee and governmental supporters approved of this plan that the public (New York and America)BOLDLY DISAPPROVED of. This is a PURE example of governmental greed that needs to be controlled and stopped. Our voice is vital in this situation because a project this expensive should not be supported in an economic crisis we are in. If the Twin Towers II propasal cost less and takes shorter the time to build, this could help not only the New York economy, but nationwide. I was walking down the sidewalk on the other street… then all of a sudden the only thing I heard was the sound of people yelling and screaming…. and the sound of debris hitting the streets… this was a terrible moment… And I have one last thing to say….. Ever since there were knocked down NYC skyline has never looked the same and the Freedom Tower will only make it worse. People will look at the Freedom as WHAT WAS THERE than WHAT IS THERE. I like the looks of the new Tower 1 as there now calling it inplace of freedom tower, Hower to go with this new Tower I think it would be best to have North & South Tower back or better known as the Twin Towers of the world Trade Center. Meaning we’d have iconic 2 towers plus the new Tower 1..
This time building the 2 new World trade towers pretty much as they were but maybe this time with alittle more safety features like wider stairways & lighted stairways incase power goes out. Other wise build the twin towers as they once were.. Bring back the Twin Trade Towers to go with Tower 1..

The current plan with the “Freedom Tower” and ugly surrounding buildings is a disgrace, not to mention the morbid and depressing waterfall memorial that sends exactly the WRONG message of defeat to the world. Re-building these towers stronger and higher than before would be a triumph of good over evil and a shining symbol of American determination for the rest of the world. There really is no other legitimate option. Anything less sends a message of defeat – that the terrorists won this battle. I have never had the opportunity to visit New York prior to 9/11, and I hoped and prayed that one day our country would heal and allow the rebuilding of these historical monuments. We must rebuild the twin towers!! If we don’t we have been defeated in all ways. We must put them back in the sky to show that we can get back up after a blow to the face. Put them back up for all who were lost and for the friends and family of anyone who was involved that day. Americans don’t want some generic version of the towers up! What is that? Those towers were a big part of what America is and was and they need to be put back bigger and better to show that America cannot be defeated. BRING THE TWIN TOWERS BACK!!!
PLEASE re-build the Twin Towers! The current plan with the “Freedom Tower” and ugly surrounding buildings is a disgrace, not to mention the morbid and depressing waterfall memorial that sends exactly the WRONG message of defeat to the world. Re-building these towers stronger and higher than before would be a triumph of good over evil and a shining symbol of American determination for the rest of the world. There really is no other legitimate option. Anything less sends a message of defeat – that the terrorists won this battle. We cannot – we MUST NOT fail to resurrect the towers and properly honor those who lost their lives and pay tribute to the uniquely American spirit.
I have never had the opportunity to visit New York prior to 9/11, and I hoped and prayed that one day our country would heal and allow the rebuilding of these historical monuments. I am sure there will be many revisions and changes made if they are to be rebuilt, and I hope I am lucky enough to visit New York and The New Twin Towers. Let us not think of this as forgetting the old, and building the new, but restoring and resurrecting a legend and memory we will never forget. God bless all who lost their lives and loved ones who have lost.
The Twin Towers were so simple and beautiful. I never got to see the original twin towers but I hope that the new ones will be built. The Freedom Tower is ugly and could never replace the Twin Towers.
If we leave a gaping hole in the NYC skyline, it means that the terrorists will have succeeded in fundamentally altering the city. We can’t let that happen.
Let them know that if you knock ’em down, we’ll build them back up. Stronger, Safer, and taller!!! Rebuild the Twin Towers!!
If the twin towers aren’t rebuilt as they were, then the terrorists win. We can’t let them win. The towers should be rebuilt to make it look like the terrorists did nothing to weaken us.
Rebuild the twin towers !!!! Honestly we’re America we don’t do little so why when we had these amazing Towers do we come back with a small 80ft. SINGLE tower ?! If you ask me I’d say that’s like leaving the rubble there and saying we did our best to recover but we’re just down on ourselves and scared that’s what the terrorists wanted was for us to feel belittled at least build one more freedom tower !! Two 80ft. Towers on the New York skyline is better than one it would feel like New York again big, wondrous and full of lights and heart.

I said this the day after the towers fell. We should have rebuilt as soon as possible to show our strength and resiliency.
The greatest thing we could do to honor the memory of those lost on 9/11, and to send a message to those who wish us harm, is to replace what was already there, modernized, bigger and better, but preserving the integrity of the image that made the twin towers icons the world over. The fact that this isn’t happening is hard to fathom. What is being built now is disappointing to the extent that it is an insult to what was. If the wishes of most Americans were taken into account, we would be building a new set of twin towers, while rightfully and tastefully taking into account the hallowed ground that they are built on.
